The RTX 3050 is set to launch in just a few hours now, it was confirmed by Nvidia that retailers will go live with RTX 3050 stock at 6am PT / 9am ET (that’s 2pm GMT). No official word has yet been announced as to just how many RTX 3050 models will hit US and UK shelves but we’re expecting the availability window to be brief and brutal. In short, if you want any chance of securing the latest entry-level Ampere GPU at MSRP, then you’ll need to be logged on early to not leave empty-handed.

Rumors have circulated online that there will be hundreds of RTX 3050 GPUs available at MSRP in the UK, at least according to Overclock3d.net, which has claimed that it has: “managed to confirm that almost 1,000 cards will be available for £239.99”. It’s likely that those prospective RTX 3050 buyers across the pond could be in with a decent chance of getting an RTX 3050 for its actual recommended retail price. We’re hoping it’s a similar story for budget builders in the US, and will be keeping a close eye on all the retailers as that fabled launch time draws ever closer.

RTX 3050 price
The RTX 3050 carries a starting MSRP of $249 / £239, however, as there will be no Founders Edition version, the actual retail rates will largely be dictated by Nvidia’s partners. While we’re expecting some partner cards to sell at this rate, we also wouldn’t be surprised to see higher-end option options coming in at close to double today, as well.
