Microsoft has started rolling out an emergency Windows patch to address a critical flaw in the Windows Print Spooler service. The vulnerability, dubbed PrintNightmare, was revealed last week, after security researchers accidentally published proof-of-concept (PoC) exploit code. Microsoft has issued out-of-band security updates to address the flaw, and has rated it as critical as attackers can remotely execute code with system-level privileges on affected machines.
As the Print Spooler service runs by default on Windows, Microsoft has had to issue patches for Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2008, Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, and a variety of supported versions of Windows 10. Microsoft has even taken the unusual step of issuing patches for Windows 7, which officially went out of support last year. Microsoft has not yet issued patches for Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016, and Windows 10 Version 1607, though. Microsoft says “security updates for these versions of Windows will be released soon.”
It took Microsoft a couple of days to issue an alert about a 0-day affecting all supported versions of Windows. The PrintNightmare vulnerability allows attackers to use remote code execution, so bad actors could potentially install programs, modify data, and create new accounts with full admin rights.
“We recommend that you install these updates immediately,” says Microsoft. “The security updates released on and after July 6, 2021 contain protections for CVE-2021-1675 and the additional remote code execution exploit in the Windows Print Spooler service known as ‘PrintNightmare’, documented in CVE-2021-34527.”
Nintendo has released Version 12.0.0 of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This update adds in the new DLC fighter from the Tekken series, Kazuya.

The Groza is a formidable weapon in Warzone Season 2, capable of using its high fire rate to rip through an enemy’s armor. Here are the best attachments and perks to maximize its potential.
It’s no secret that the integration of Black Ops Cold War into Warzone changed the battle royale game immeasurably. The addition of so many extra guns offered up extra possibilities to consider. That being said, Season 1 was dominated by the DMR, Diamattis, and MAC-10, and Season 2 has favored the AUG, FFAR, and Kar98K.
There’s always going to be a meta no matter how many guns you offer, and one weapon that people may be missing out on is the Groza. It has a high fire rate, making it especially effective at medium range. It may not be as favorable at point-blank range or as forgiving at extreme long-distance, but use it as a support weapon for those mid-range fights, and you’ll be maximizing its slaying potential.
If you don’t believe us, then you only have to ask NICKMERCS who believes the Groza could “rival the FFAR.”
Here’s the best attachments and perks to run with the Groza Assault Rifle in Warzone Season 2.
Best Warzone Season 2 Groza class
Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
Barrel: 16.7″ VDV Reinforced
Stock: KGB Pad
Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Speedgrip
Ammunition: VDV 60 RND Fast Mag
This Groza’s main strength is the damage it can deal. The attachments in this loadout will focus on giving that a further boost, while also improving the weapon’s effective damage range and recoil control.
The GRU Suppressor is a necessary attachment for the Groza. Not only will your silenced shots be hidden from the radar and mini-map, but you’ll also see a massive boost to bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil control.
To further improve its range and accuracy, the 16.7″ VDV Reinforced barrel and Spetsnaz Speedgrip are excellent choices. The barrel boosts damage over range and bullet velocity and the grip allows you to keep the recoil under control, making landing upper torso and headshots much easier.
By using the Groza’s clean iron sights, you can take advantage of another attachment slot. We’ve opted for the KGB Pad stock to vastly improve your mobility. You’ll be able to get your weapon up much quicker and be also strafe-shoot much faster, making yourself a more difficult target to hit.
To round out this loadout, the VDV 60 Rnd Fast Mag will allow you to take out multiple targets without having to reload. As it’s a fast mag, you’ll also be able to reload quickly, keeping you in the fight without getting caught out by a lengthy magazine change.
Best perks for Warzone Season 2 Groza
Perk 1: E.O.D
Perk 2: Overkill then Ghost
Perk 3: Amped
The Groza is most effective at medium range, which means you won’t be safe from grenades and other explosives thrown your way. With E.O.D equipped, you’ll be able to survive multiple explosives, which is vital to staying alive in Warzone.
You’ll want to pair the Groza with another weapon suited for either extreme long-range, such as the HDR, or an SMG for up-close. Overkill will allow you to take two primary weapons, then you can grab Ghost from your next loadout, concealing you from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors.
And to make sure you can switch between these weapons rapidly, you should equip Amped in the third slot.
How to unlock the Groza in Warzone Season 2
If you want to get your hands on the Groza, then you will need to “Get 3 kills or more without dying, using Assault Rifles, in 15 different matches.”
You also need to ensure that once you’ve earned each killstreak that you finish the match and don’t leave early.
With Black Ops Cold War being integrated into Warzone, the gun will be available for you to use in both of these titles.
Best Groza Season 2 alternatives
The Groza is an excellent weapon, but if you’re looking for something a bit different to use, then the Bullfrog is a superb weapon at close range.
For something at longer distances, the LW3 Tundra or HDR will do the job.
This covers the best attachments and perks for the Groza Assault Rifle. If you bring this weapon with you in short to medium-range conflicts, then you’ll be a killing machine.

Google’s Pixel updates for April are here. This isn’t one of the big feature drop updates (that was last month), but device owners can look forward to the latest security patches and a handful of fixes and improvements. This time around, Google specifically calls out improved photo quality in some third-party apps and even performance improvements for games on the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5, plus a handful of fixes addressing issues on several Pixel models, including a problem that dates back to a missing December Feature Drop feature.
So-called “functional patch notes” describing changes for Pixels in this update.
Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 owners may appreciate this update, which promises better camera quality in specific third-party apps and what sound like improved game performance. Other fixes for a freeze during startup and an issue with devices appearing as offline while connected to a VPN are also included for more Pixel devices — we haven’t heard of either, so I can’t tell you too much about them.
The fix for missing home grid settings calls back to an issue we reported on in January, where a handful of Pixels didn’t have the new custom grid size options that trickled down to older Pixels as part of the December 2020 feature drop. It wasn’t the biggest feature, but Google did specifically call it out as a new customization option for Pixel owners with older devices, and it was a bummer it didn’t work for everyone.
As per yooj, the very latest April 2021 security patches are included with this update, including several “High” and “Critical” severity vulnerabilities, though Pixel-specific vulnerabilities this month are few. Build numbers right now match across the Pixel lineup: RQ2A.210405.005.
Folks with a Pixel 5 or Pixel 4a 5G on Verizon may see a delay for this update. As of now, factory and OTA images have only been published for other carriers, specifically excluding big red for those two phones, and that may extend to the update’s more traditional rollout as well.
On that note, the update should start landing on Pixel devices still in their support window over the next hour or two — that’s the Pixel 3 series, Pixel 3a series, Pixel 4 series, Pixel 4a series, and Pixel 5 — but the impatient can sideload it manually.
Black Ops Cold War’s MP5 is a great close-range choice in Warzone Season 2, so here are the best attachments and perks to run with it.
The MP5 has been a fan-favorite weapon in almost every Call of Duty title. It hasn’t lost any of its power in Cold War and Warzone, being an underrated gem for close-range combat.
It’s one of the first weapons you’ll unlock, making it an excellent choice for beginners and veterans alike. Here are the best attachments and perks to dominate with BOCW’s MP5 in Warzone Season 2.
Best Cold War MP5 Warzone attachments
Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
Barrel: 10.1″ Calvary Lancer
Laser: SWAT 5mW Laser Sight
Grip: Field Agent Grip
Ammunition: Salvo 50 Rnd Fast Mag
This Cold War MP5 is built to dominate at close range. Pair it with a long-range rifle such as the AUG, or if you’re especially confident with your aim, a Sniper Rifle. Quickly switch to it if your primary weapon is out of ammo, or use it in close-quarters situations.
First, we’ve added the Agency Suppressor. This works similarly to the Monolithic Suppressor from Modern Warfare, which increases the weapons range while hiding you from the minimap. For increased versatility, we’ve also equipped the 10.1″ Calvary Lancer barrel. This increases the MP5’s damage at range without any negatives.
To make the MP5 as accurate as possible, you should add the Field Agent Grip. This helps with both horizontal and vertical recoil control, which makes it easy to land headshots up close and stay accurate even at longer ranges. And for some extra accuracy at point-blank, the SWAT 5mW Laser Sight will boost your hip-fire accuracy.
For ammunition, the Salvo 50 Rnd Fast Mag is ideal. You can down several enemies without ever having to reload, and you’ll also have increased reload speed.
Best perks to use with Cold War’s MP5 in Warzone Season 2
Not only are your weapons important in a Warzone loadout, but your choice of perks can also make or break a class. Here are the perks you should be running with Black Ops Cold War’s MP5 in Verdansk and Rebirth Island.
Perk 1: E.O.D
Perk 2: Overkill then Ghost
Perk 3: Amped
A major part of Warzone is the lethal equipment at your disposal. Before pushing a room, enemies will lob a bombardment of grenades, rockets, and explosives inside. If you have any hope of surviving, you’ll need the E.O.D perk equipped.
The MP5 is best suited as a secondary weapon, so you want to run Overkill to carry two primaries. If you’re really feeling the MP5 love, you could equip both the Cold War and Modern Warfare versions. Make a duplicate loadout with Ghost instead, and you can swap the Perks out when you get another loadout and keep the weapons.
There’s nothing worse than running out of ammo in a firefight, where you’ll need to quickly swap weapons to have a chance. So for perk 3, the Amped Perk will allow you to swap weapons insanely fast, which is vital in a firefight.
How to unlock Cold War’s MP5 in Warzone
To unlock Cold War’s MP5 in Warzone, you simply need to reach Level 4. You’ll manage this after only a game or two, so you can essentially use it straight away. Then once you’ve unlocked it, use it as much as you can and take advantage of Double XP events to rank it up fast.
Best Cold War MP5 alternatives in Warzone
The MP5 is best suited for close-range combat, so if you’re looking for alternatives, the MAC-10 and Gallo SA12 are solid choices. They destroy enemies at close-range, which is exactly what you want in a secondary. Of course, there’s always Modern Warfare’s MP5 too.
Use Cold War’s MP5 with these attachments and perks, and you’ll find yourself running one of the best SMGs Warzone has to offer.

It’s been a little over three months since the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red’s highly anticipated open-world game starring Keanu Reeves. During this time, the Polish studio has released a few updates for the game, including two major ones. The March 1.2 patch takes aim at everything from police AI, to small but funny oversights, like typos. The list of fixes is long. But based on what many Twitch streamers and YouTubers are sharing post-patch, it seems that Cyberpunk 2077 is still looking rough.
Right now, most of the top Twitch clips of the game hail from streamer Vinesauce’s recent broadcast, where the personality showcases a number of remaining glitches. The most common type of glitch, which is popping up repeatedly on social media, has to do with spawning cars. When players call in a ride, the game will spawn all of the vehicles in the same place — sometimes leading to complete mayhem, as cars explode against each other, or the game struggles to render so many objects at once. There also appear to be a number of physics-based hijinks, according to other clips from the stream.
Driving, in general, still seems to be hit or miss. In one YouTube video uploaded by Kevduit, the player throws a grenade into the distance, prompting every single NPC to step out of their car in unison. Then he looks away for a split second and every one of those people disappears into thin air. These are but a few hitches highlighted in the nearly four-minute video.
That same footage also shows that the police aren’t quite up to par yet — sometimes they kill the player instantly, sometimes they despawn mid-chase, and other times they completely ignore crimes happening right in front of them. Similarly, other clips floating around at the moment don’t paint the game in a very positive light. Simple things, like aiming down sights, are still not working correctly according to players trying the patch.
On places like Reddit and Twitter, there are reports of the game loading slower than before, though performance appears to vary depending on platform. This far in, though, some are questioning whether or not it’s worth coming back to a game that could still be considered broken, or whether they should just get a refund. As of this writing, Cyberpunk 2077 is still not available on the PlayStation Store after being delisted in late 2020.
In January, CD Projekt Red laid out a roadmap for Cyberpunk 2077, which specifically numbered two patches for the game. While the troubled RPG will continue to get unspecified tweaks and fixes throughout the year, based on the roadmap, the developer will also start to pivot toward developing free DLC and next-gen upgrades. Hopefully the upcoming changes do more than put a Band-Aid on the experience, which to date has sold millions of copies despite controversy.
Correction: A previous version of this story misstated how long it’s been since Cyberpunk 2077 was released.
A new update is now live for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, version 11.0.1 doesn’t offer anything too substantive to the game, so fans hoping for some sweeping fighter changes will have to wait a bit longer. Of course, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate just saw a very large number of changes to its roster, so a smaller update will likely be quite welcome for fans of the fighting game. Unlike that previous update, this one makes a change to a solitary playable fighter: Wii Fit Trainer. Full patch notes directly from Nintendo’s website can be found below:
General
Vulnerability when landing after using the Wii Fit Trainer’s side special Header had decreased unintentionally, so this has been adjusted.
The roster for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate currently features a massive number of fighters, so periodic updates such as this one are required in order to keep things balanced. It might not seem like a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but this adjustment to Wii Fit Trainer will bring the fighter closer to where Nintendo and director Masahiro Sakurai need the character to be. Wii Fit Trainer first became a playable fighter in the series with Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U.
The previous update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate saw the fourth fighter added from the game’s Fighter’s Pass Vol. 2 DLC: Pyra/Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. There are just two remaining roster slots left as part of the DLC pack, and speculation is running rampant about which characters will join the game next. Fans are hoping to see characters such as Crash Bandicoot, Master Chief, and Doom Slayer, but Nintendo has proven that it can be very difficult to predict just which fighters will come to the game. Of course, that makes it all the more exciting, as some characters have offered some truly shocking surprises. It will likely be a few more months before another fighter is unveiled, so fans will have plenty of time to continue that speculation!
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available exclusively on Nintendo Switch. You can check out all of our previous coverage of the game right here.

CD Projekt Red (CDPR) has detailed the improvements it plans to bring to Cyberpunk 2077 in its upcoming 1.2 patch. The announcement, written as an in-universe newscast, details the planned quality-of-life improvements, including police not instantly appearing when you commit a crime, an improved driving experience, and a setting that should prevent you from accidentally dodging into traffic or off a building.
While the game has received a lot of criticism for being generally buggy — and, in some respects, unfinished — it does seem like CDPR is trying to address some of the most memed-on complaints. In the section of the blog post about the improved police response, there’s a jokey in-universe anecdote that captures an experience many players will have had:
“My choom, Jake, was in a shoot-out with Tyger Claws the other day, when he missed a shot and hit a pedestrian on the other side of the street. In an instant, the NCPD swarmed up on him and put him down. It’s like they appeared out of thin air right behind his back! It’s too brutal of a response for a regular accidental murder if you ask me!” — Mike from Kabuki, 28.
The driving experience in the game is also, uh, not very good. CDPR is hoping to make it better by improving the steering response (you can see a comparison video below) and making it so your car can automatically get unstuck if it finds itself resting on a barrier or other object. While the improved steering should help, there’s also plenty of other issues with driving (such as collision detection) that will have to be addressed before driving becomes, you know, fun.
The patch was initially supposed to come out in February but was delayed when the studio fell victim to a ransomware attack. CDPR is now aiming to release it in “the second half of March.”
It’s now been around three months since the game was pulled from the PlayStation Store due to the immense number of bugs (and the fact that it was nearly unplayable on a base PlayStation 4). So far, Sony and CDPR haven’t responded to requests for comment on when the game will return to the platform, so it’s unclear if this patch will be enough to return the game to the platform’s online shop.
If you boot up your copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, there should be an update waiting for you which bumps the game up to Version 1.9.0. Else you can activate the update manually by going into the game’s settings on the Switch Home Menu.
When you’ve updated to this latest version of the game, you’ll receive an anniversary cake in the mail. Apart from this, players can also look forward to the return of Bunny Day on 4th April, new seasonal items, enhanced custom design and much more.
