The Groza is a formidable weapon in Warzone Season 2, capable of using its high fire rate to rip through an enemy’s armor. Here are the best attachments and perks to maximize its potential.
It’s no secret that the integration of Black Ops Cold War into Warzone changed the battle royale game immeasurably. The addition of so many extra guns offered up extra possibilities to consider. That being said, Season 1 was dominated by the DMR, Diamattis, and MAC-10, and Season 2 has favored the AUG, FFAR, and Kar98K.
There’s always going to be a meta no matter how many guns you offer, and one weapon that people may be missing out on is the Groza. It has a high fire rate, making it especially effective at medium range. It may not be as favorable at point-blank range or as forgiving at extreme long-distance, but use it as a support weapon for those mid-range fights, and you’ll be maximizing its slaying potential.

Best Warzone Season 2 Groza class

This Groza’s main strength is the damage it can deal. The attachments in this loadout will focus on giving that a further boost, while also improving the weapon’s effective damage range and recoil control.
The GRU Suppressor is a necessary attachment for the Groza. Not only will your silenced shots be hidden from the radar and mini-map, but you’ll also see a massive boost to bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil control.
To further improve its range and accuracy, the 16.7″ VDV Reinforced barrel and Spetsnaz Speedgrip are excellent choices. The barrel boosts damage over range and bullet velocity and the grip allows you to keep the recoil under control, making landing upper torso and headshots much easier.
By using the Groza’s clean iron sights, you can take advantage of another attachment slot. We’ve opted for the KGB Pad stock to vastly improve your mobility. You’ll be able to get your weapon up much quicker and be also strafe-shoot much faster, making yourself a more difficult target to hit.
To round out this loadout, the VDV 60 Rnd Fast Mag will allow you to take out multiple targets without having to reload. As it’s a fast mag, you’ll also be able to reload quickly, keeping you in the fight without getting caught out by a lengthy magazine change.

- Perk 2: Overkill then Ghost

The Groza is most effective at medium range, which means you won’t be safe from grenades and other explosives thrown your way. With E.O.D equipped, you’ll be able to survive multiple explosives, which is vital to staying alive in Warzone.
You’ll want to pair the Groza with another weapon suited for either extreme long-range, such as the HDR, or an SMG for up-close. Overkill will allow you to take two primary weapons, then you can grab Ghost from your next loadout, concealing you from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors.
And to make sure you can switch between these weapons rapidly, you should equip Amped in the third slot.
How to unlock the Groza in Warzone Season 2
If you want to get your hands on the Groza, then you will need to “Get 3 kills or more without dying, using Assault Rifles, in 15 different matches.”
You also need to ensure that once you’ve earned each killstreak that you finish the match and don’t leave early.
With Black Ops Cold War being integrated into Warzone, the gun will be available for you to use in both of these titles.
Best Groza Season 2 alternatives
The Groza is an excellent weapon, but if you’re looking for something a bit different to use, then the Bullfrog is a superb weapon at close range.
For something at longer distances, the LW3 Tundra or HDR will do the job.
