Jennifer Lopez experienced “a little PTSD” before marrying Ben Affleck.
Because the couple’s previous engagement “fell apart,” the singer kept asking herself whether their second attempt at tying the knot was “really happening,” she explained to Jimmy Kimmel Wednesday.
“We were so happy and, of course, it was happening, but the wedding was so stressful,” the Grammy winner, 53, recalled.
Lopez noted that their July 2022 Las Vegas wedding was Affleck’s idea.
“One day, Ben just said, ‘F–k it, let’s just go to Vegas and get married tonight,’” the dancer said. “He said, ‘Go to rehearsal. When you get back here, I’ll have everything set up.’”

One month after the pair tied the knot in Sin City, they went on to wed again in front of family and friends in Georgia.
Lopez and the Oscar winner, 50, were previously engaged from 2002 to 2004. The “Gigli” co-stars rekindled their romance in 2021.

By that time, the songwriter was fresh off a broken engagement from Alex Rodriguez. Lopez was previously married to Marc Antony, with whom she shares twins Emme and Maximilian, 14.
As for Affleck, the “Tender Bar” star wed Jennifer Garner in 2005. Prior to their 2015 split, the exes welcomed Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 10.

After Lopez and the actor got back together, Affleck proposed with a green diamond ring.
“He had to ask me again,” Lopez said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” of the April 2022 proposal, which took place while she was in the bathtub. “I didn’t have that [ring] anymore.”
They got engaged again in 2022.
Affleck gushed to Vogue about their second-chance romance in November 2022, calling Lopez “exactly the person” he remembers “from 20 years ago.”
The Golden Globe winner winner added, “Maybe she sees all the changes she’s made, whereas when I see her, mostly I just see someone who has retained, against the odds, the thing about her that always made her the most incredible to me.”

Affleck was spotted slinging drinks at a drive-thru in Medford on Tuesday — a woman who took a photo of the “Batman” and “Good Will Hunting” star, Lisa Mackay, told NBC10 Boston the movie star was quick-witted and funny when they talked.
Mackay said she signed a form for video of her to be used and was told by crew members that they were filming a commercial.

Jennifer Lopez, the American singer and actress, has termed calling off her initial engagement to Ben Affleck the “biggest heartbreak” of her life, according to Page Six. In a new interview with Apple Music 1, the “Marry Me” singer reflected on her rekindled romance with the “Deep Water” actor and recalled the pain she felt after they ended their first engagement in 2004.
“It was so painful after we broke up,” Lopez, 53, told host Zane Lowe. “Once we called off that wedding 20 years ago, it was the biggest heartbreak of my life. I honestly felt like I was going to die.”
“It sent me on a spiral for the next 18 years where I just couldn’t get it right. But now, 20 years later, it does have a happy ending. It has the most ‘would never happen in Hollywood’ ending,” the singer was quoted as saying.

The Gigi co-stars were engaged back in 2002. However, it ended in a split two years later. After establishing a new connection in April 2021, Jennifer and Ben began dating again and got married in July of this year in Las Vegas.
“We captured me at this moment in time when I was reunited with the love of my life and we decided we were going to be together forever,” the “Let’s Get Loud” singer explained. “The whole message of the album is, ‘This love exists. This is a real love.'”
“Now I think what the message of [the album] is: if you have, like me at times, lost hope, almost given up, don’t,” Lopez told Lowe. “True love does exist, and some things do last forever, and that’s real. I want to put that message out into the world, and that does take a lot of vulnerability.”

Jennifer Lopez revealed that her now-husband Ben Affleck was the one to make the first move in rekindling their love.
“Obviously we weren’t trying to go out in public. But I never shied away from the fact that for me, I always felt like there was a real love there, a true love there,” the singer told Vogue in her November cover story, published Tuesday.
”People in my life know that he was a very, very special person in my life. When we reconnected, those feelings for me were still very real.”
Lopez, 53, said that Affleck, 50, emailed her after his split from Ana De Armas to let her know he had raved about her in an interview. From there, they kept talking and they started hanging out.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer noted that reconnecting with an ex isn’t always a good idea, however.
“I don’t know that I recommend this for everybody,” she told the magazine. “Sometimes you outgrow each other, or you just grow differently.”
Lopez explained that she and Affleck “lost each other” and then “found each other” again.
“Not to discredit anything in between that happened, because all those things were real too,” she elaborated. “All we’ve ever wanted was to kind of come to a place of peace in our lives where we really felt that type of love that you feel when you’re very young and wonder if you can have that again. Does it exist? Is it real? All those questions that I think everyone has.”
She continued, “You go through all these relationships, and you’re searching and you’re connecting and you’re disconnecting with people, and you’re like, ‘God, is this just what life is? Like a carousel, roller coaster, carnival ride?’ And then it settles. But the journey to that is the mystery for everybody.”

Lopez, who called off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez amid cheating rumors prior to reuniting with Affleck, also reflected on how she’s working on herself to recover from failed relationships in the past.
“I have to forgive myself for the things that I did that I’m not proud of, the choices that I made that worked against me,” she said. “Self-love is really about boundaries. Learning what you’re comfortable with and putting up the boundaries, not being afraid of the consequences.”
The “Hustlers” actress added that the best way to make sure things work out is to “take care” of yourself.
“Knowing that in taking care of yourself, everything will turn out OK, that people will treat you the way you want to be treated and your life will feel good to you,” she said. “For a long time, I was just like, ‘Yes, do whatever you want! I can take it, I’ll be here, because I’m really strong, and I’ll be fine.’ Little by little, it chips away at your self-worth, your self-esteem, your soul.”

Lopez tied the knot with Affleck in July 2022 in Las Vegas and again at his Georgia estate in August. She said that blending their families has been a “process.”
The singer shares 14-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Affleck and his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, share three kids: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.
Lopez called Affleck “an amazing co-parent” and said they “work really well together,” but that their teen children are still adjusting.

“The transition is a process that needs to be handled with so much care,” Lopez said. “They have so many feelings. They’re teens. But it’s going really well so far.”
She continued, “What I hope to cultivate with our family is that his kids have a new ally in me and my kids have a new ally in him, someone who really loves and cares about them but can have a different perspective and help me see things that I can’t see with my kids because I’m so emotionally tied up.”
Lopez and Affleck got engaged for the second time in April. The pair, dubbed “Bennifer,” initially started dating in 2002 and showcased their love with plenty of PDA.
In November of that year, Affleck proposed with a 6.1-carat Harry Winston pink diamond ring that reportedly cost $2.5 million.

But massive media attention surrounding their engagement caused tension for the couple and they postponed their 2003 wedding. By 2004, Lopez and Affleck ended things, and she married Anthony by June of the same year.
Meanwhile, Affleck married Garner in 2005. Both Affleck and Lopez went on to welcome children with their respective spouses before things ended in divorce.
Lopez then moved on with Rodriguez while Affleck briefly dated De Armas. But when things ended for Lopez and the former MLB pro in 2021, Affleck swiftly swooped in and the pair have been going strong ever since.

Just three weeks ago, Affleck listed the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom estate in the affluent Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles for $29.99 million — a property he purchased for $19 million in 2018 following his split from Jennifer Garner.
Now, a buyer has just come forward with an offer that Affleck couldn’t refuse, TMZ reports.
However, the identity of the soon-to-be owner and the purchase price for the spread aren’t yet known. What’s certain is that person will be living a life of luxury there.
The home, located in the Riviera Country Club, spans no fewer than 13,453 square feet. It has a movie theater, a recreation room with a full bar, a gym and a temperature-controlled wine cellar. There’s also a family room with a fireplace and glass doors to the outdoors.

Outside, there’s a pool with a waterslide, a covered patio with heaters for outdoor dining and a separate guest house.
Affleck, 50, and Jennifer Lopez, 53 — who just returned from their week-long honeymoon in Italy — are reportedly planning to move into her home in Bel-Air once its remodel is complete. For now, TMZ adds, they’re renting the $60 million Beverly Hills compound of Aussie billionaire James Packer.

The newlyweds are enjoying a second honeymoon in the global fashion capital after walking down the aisle, again, in a lavish wedding for family and friends at the Oscar winner’s home in Riceboro, Georgia August 20.

Casey Affleck did not attend older brother Ben Affleck’s star-studded wedding to Jennifer Lopez this past weekend in Riceboro, Georgia.
The brother of the groom, 47, was spotted in LA on several occasions just hours before Ben’s big day.
In video obtained by Page Six, Affleck was spotted in Los Angeles Saturday morning and was asked why he wasn’t already at the three-day extravaganza.
Through a mumble, the Academy Award-winner said, “I have other things.”
However, a source close to Affleck says that “unfortunately because of family, parental obligations at home,” he will be absent from the big bash, according to People.
Affleck has two sons, Indiana, 18 and Atticus, 14 with ex-wife Summer Phoenix.
While Affleck was not in attendance, Ben did have familial support at his wedding to Lopez.
The matriarch of the family, Christopher Anne Boldt, was at the festivities, but not before dealing with an alleged health scare.

Meanwhile, former Mrs. Affleck, Garner, was all smiles as she skipped the celebration in favor of a visit to Sam’s Club.
The actress was photographed at the store in South Charleston, W.Va., just before 4 p.m. on Saturday, TMZ reported.

“Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world.”

The pair then reunited in 2021 and it’s been a whirlwind romance ever since.
