Jennifer Lopez and new husband Ben Affleck made their first red carpet appearance together as a married couple last night, stepping out in coordinating black outfits for a matching moment at the Ralph Lauren Spring 2023 Fashion Experience.
The pair looked dapper as they attended the event in San Marino, Calif., with both wearing sleek head-to-toe black outfits by the iconic American designer.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer wore a plunging long-sleeved wrap dress with pinstripes, showing off plenty of cleavage as she posed with Affleck, whom she married in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony back in July before hosting a bigger bash for family and friends at the actor’s Georgia home.
Lopez paired her Ralph Lauren dress with black Christian Louboutin heels, showing off nearly $30,000 in Jacquie Aiche jewels.
The “Marry Me” actress layered the designer’s aquamarine eye necklace ($9,250) with a bone thunderbird necklace ($7,500), adding a tourmaline heart signet ring ($3,250) spiked purple sapphire ring ($4,750) and druzy signet ring ($4,625).
She wore her hair in bouncy curls underneath a black cowboy hat to complete her head-to-toe black look.
Meanwhile, Affleck was dressed in a similarly monochrome look, wearing a black Ralph Lauren suit along with a black shirt and tie for the runway event, which was held at the Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens.
The two sat in the front row in between Diane Keaton and Jessica Chastain for the fashion show, joining other celebrities like Mindy Kaling, Laura Dern, Lily Collins and Sylvester Stallone — who attended with his daughters and wife Jennifer Flavin in the wake of their called-off divorce and dog tattoo news.
Ralph Lauren holds a special place in the newlywed’s lives as they both wore his designs to walk down the aisle in August, with the bride wearing three stunning gowns for the occasion and the groom going classic in a white tux. Clearly, it’s a match made in heaven.
