All lanes of southbound Interstate 5 are closed on Saturday due to a crash in Sacramento County, according to the California Highway Patrol.Traffic is being diverted onto Airport Boulevard, CHP said.Officials with the CHP’s North Sacramento office said a Dodge collided into construction equipment on the side of the roadway. Caltrans supervisors and engineers are checking to see if emergency construction will be needed to fix it.Two vehicles were involved in the collision, but details surrounding the crash are unclear.Drivers are urged to take alternate routes. All lanes are expected to be closed until 6 a.m. on Sunday morning, Caltrans said.
