The shooting happened at about 1:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of N. Park Avenue.
Temple University student, 21 y/o was shot & killed just off campus in the 2200 block of N. Park Avenue, 1:30pm. Sources tell me the student parked their car, got out & a robber showed up. During the robbery the suspect pulled a gun and shot the student twice in the chest. @6abc

According to police, the man was shot twice in the chest. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he died.
“This is a tragedy in every sense of the word. Our thoughts are with the victim’s family, friends and the entire Temple community during this tremendously difficult time,” the university said in a statement.
Sources tell Action News the shooting occurred during a robbery.
The student’s name has not yet been released.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
