“Multiple victims have been shot,” the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a tweet. “We have detained one person and have recovered a weapon that may be involved.”

According to initial reports, at least 5 people were shot, including one person who was pronounced dead at the scene. A sixth victim suffered minor injuries, though the cause of their injuries was not immediately clear.

There was no word on a possible motive for Sunday’s shooting. It comes just a day after a self-described white supremacist opened fire at a supermarket in upstate New York, killing 10 people and injuring 3 others.
