The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened early Monday morning at the intersection of North Broad Avenue and Bayou Road.At around 1:29 a.m., officers responded to a shooting where they found a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to an area hospital where the woman, who was 23, was pronounced dead, and the man, 25, was also died from his injuries, according to NOPD.NOPD said both were inside a car driving riverbound on Bayou Road toward North Broad when another vehicle pulled up and opened fire.
