The new Red Devil series will feature both the Radeon RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT from the latest AMD RDNA3 desktop lineup. The company is set to launch two models, but there will also be a Limited Edition with swappable backplate. This translucent backplate will have RGB lighting that will mimic ‘devilish’ lava and will also feature a large Red Devil logo.

The Red Devil series get an entirely new heatsink equipped with eight nickel platted cooper heatpipes. The heat will be transferred off AMD Navi 31 GPU powered by 21 VRMs on the RX 7900 XTX variant, PowerColor confirms. The XTX variant will also feature three 8-pin power connectors.

Red Devil’s new design features three axial fans with 9 blade design which should reduce GPU temperature by 3°C on its own compared to previous designs.

AMD Radeon RX 7900 series are set to launch on December 13th. The company did not share any information on clock speeds or pricing. The availability of these cards is also a big unknown. It is worth noting that PowerColor is releasing RX 7900 Hellhound series equipped with dual 8-pin power connectors and brand new triple-fan design. Those cards should cost less than Red Devil series.
