Halo Infinite’s first season is still underway, but developer 343 Industries is sharing more of what players can expect in the road ahead, in both Season 2 and beyond. Halo Infinite Season 2 will include new maps, new modes, and more.

A new update on Friday from head of creative Joseph Staten shares that more maps and modes are coming in Halo Infinite Season 2, which is being titled Lone Wolves. This season’s theme is Spartans who work alone, with “fierce, rugged” designs. Naturally, there’ll be new Battle Pass, as well as two free Armor Cores. Lone Wolves is slated to arrive on May 3, 2022.

New modes being added this season include two new modes called Last Spartan Standing and Land Grab, as well as the return of King of the Hill. There’s also two new maps coming this season, with an Arena map called Catalyst and a Big Team Battle map called Breaker. You can see concept designs of these two maps below (the concept for Breaker is on the left, Catalyst on the right:

Finally, 343 Industries confirms that work is progressing on Halo Infinite co-op campaign and Forge mode. The former is still accompanying Season 2, but won’t be available at the start of the season due to needing a bit more time to polish. Forge mode is being tested with some community creators, with more details coming later.
