Jennifer Lawrence Reveals The One Celebrity Who’d Leave Her ‘Starstruck,’ And … Huh?

The “Causeway” star was asked by W Magazine in an interview published Monday if she’d ever been starstruck. In response, Lawrence admitted that she was very excited to meet Ariana Grande, but also admitted there’s one celebrity who “would knock me over” with excitement if they met.

“To me, the biggest celebrities in the world are, like, Pete Davidson,” Lawrence told W. “Or when Ariana Grande was in my last film, ‘Don’t Look Up,’ I was photographed with her and I fully look like a radio contest winner. I would be starstruck if I saw Jessica Simpson. That would knock me over.”

Lawrence didn’t elaborate on her love for the singer and shoe mogul, but the “Silver Linings Playbook” star has always been vocal about how she’s a reality TV addict — and no one reigned more supreme in the genre than Simpson in the early 2000s.

Simpson starred in the popular MTV reality show “Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica” for most of her marriage to her fellow singer and ex-husband Nick Lachey, from 2002 to 2006. During this time, Simpson became somewhat of an “it girl,” and parlayed her fame in the reality series into roles in “That ’70s Show” and films like 2005’s “The Dukes of Hazzard” and 2006’s “Employee of the Month.”

Lawrence has gotten to meet — and has embroiled herself in public spats — with other reality personalities. She even got the chance to appear on an episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” in 2009 via a FaceTime call.

Here’s just hoping if Lawrence does meet Simpson, they do it over a bowl of chicken of the sea.

Britney Spears Is Apparently Alive and Thriving in Mexico

Hit me (with a series of strange shower videos) baby, (at least) one more time! Because Britney Spears appears to be alive, says TMZ, and back to filming half-nude erotica for the public again. All is right in the world.

Britney Spears’ fans—the ones who, like, #Freed Britney, but also the ones who were somehow surprised about the continued erratic nature of her videos post-conservatorship—have switched up their signature chant to #WhereIsBritney. Convinced that she might never have returned from her honeymoon and that husband Sam Asghari might be running her Instagram account, they became even more spooked when Spears posted a video on a private jet last week claiming to head to New York City. If she was really there, they claimed, paparazzi would’ve captured a shot of her, but alas, no Brit in NYC.

Loathed celeb gossipmonger Perez Hilton added fuel to the fire of speculation by claiming he has some inside info on Britney, and something very bad is going on. “Concern is warranted,” he warned.

Have no fear, Britney stans, TMZ—most trusted authority on all life or death matters—is here! The outlet learned Tuesday night that “Britney Spears isn’t missing, in trouble or dead as growing fan theories might suggest — in fact, it’s quite the opposite.”

Sources apparently close to the singer told TMZ Spears said she was going to NYC to “throw people off” and that she and Asghari were actually headed to a vacation in Mexico where they had hoped to enjoy some peace and quiet. The sources also claim the shower footage she posted was indeed shot in Mexico and is new content. Spears wouldn’t dare deny the age-old influencer proverb: Always Be Posting. In one post, Brit said she “changed my name to Brooklyn,” while in another she appeared to broker a peace treaty with her mom, Lynne Spears, after telling her to “burn in hell” in October.

“Instagram doesn’t like posts of people revealing their bodies anymore so here’s a selfie of me in Mexico 🇲🇽 !!! Mom and Dad … I crossed the border and I made it !!! After no coffee for 15 years ☕️ … Mom we can go have coffee together now !!! I’m treated as an equal … let’s have coffee and talk about it !!!”

Fans had also been spooked by the eerily timed travels of Spears’ parents who both touched down in Los Angeles last week, prompting concerns over whether something ominous had happened to Britney. But TMZ say Lynne and Jamie Spears—you know, the one who kept his daughter in a conservatorship for 13 years against her will—were in town to see Britney’s niece, the daughter of Brit’s brother Bryan, perform in The Nutcracker. As for Brit’s fans, the intention is always good, but the conspiracy theories, at least this time, are best kept to the annals of TikTok.

At least for now, rest somewhat assured that Sam isn’t on vacation with a body double (how boring!), and long live Britney.

Pete Davidson and Chase Sui Wonders were seen out again while shopping at Whole Foods in Brooklyn, New York City, on Saturday night.

Just days after attending a New York Rangers hockey game together, the former SNL star, 29, and actress, 26, stocked up on groceries at the organic grocery store.

In response to speculation that the duo may be dating, Davidson’s rep told TMZ that the pair have been just ‘great friends’ since they met filming Bodies, Bodies, Bodies.

As a cashier rang up their snacks, the pals were seen chatting and exchanging ‘smiles at checkout.’

Sui Wonders wore a charcoal grey jacket, red pants and a pair of black leather booties. 

Their second outing this week comes after Ratajkowski – who he has reportedly been ‘getting serious’ with – was spotted on a date with DJ Orazio Rispo. 

Davidson and Sui Wonders played boyfriend and girlfriend in the A24 thriller Bodies Bodies Bodies, which debuted at the South by Southwest festival before hitting theaters in August.

Davidson and Ratajkowski were first rumored to be dating back in November, when they were spotted on a dinner date in New York City.

Earlier this month, a source told People that Davidson and Ratajkowski, ‘are going strong and getting a little more serious.

EmRata was previously spotted kissing Rispo back in October, just a month after she filed from divorce from film producer Sebastian Bear-McClard.

It’s unclear if Pete and the supermodel are still dating, with Davidson seen leaving Ratajkowski’s home back in early December. 

Sui Wonders is a Detroit native and Harvard alum who wrote for the prestigious college humor publication The Harvard Lampoon.

The actress also starred in Neil LaBute’s Out of the Blue earlier this year, and she was first spotted with Riverdale star Charles Melton back in March.

The couple went ‘Instagram official’ back in July, with Melton sharing a beachfront snap with Sui Wonders in late September, though it’s unclear if they’re still together.

Johnny Depp to Appear in Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Fashion Show

In breaking news that makes one further question celebrity stan culture, Rihanna has reportedly tapped alleged abuser and gainfully employed musician, actor, director, and artist Johnny Depp to star in her upcoming Savage X Fenty Vol. 4 show. Yes, you read that correctly.

Sources just revealed to TMZ—the same outlet that first reported he’d appear at this year’s Video Music Awards—that Rihanna and co. invited Depp to be featured in the highly acclaimed show, and that “both sides were super excited to make it happen.” Depp, who will be the first man in the show’s history to have his own “star segment,” has reportedly already filmed his part. The show will appear on Amazon Prime Video on November 9.

This bulletin arrived (straight from hell) just one day after exclusive photos of the production were published by Vogue. In addition to Depp, viewers can expect performances from Anitta and Burna Boy; cameos from models including Irina Shayk, Cara Delevingne, and Precious Lee; and dozens of more stars to drop in bedecked in Savage X Fenty lingerie. Notably, none of the pre-released photos included Depp, but sources told TMZ the vibe for his look is “cool and chic.”

Fans are justifiably befuddled, per my quick perusal of Twitter. One writes: “Rihanna really saw a man that hasn’t used shampoo in months and put him in a fashion show I can’t.” And another: “Crazy to me. Literally in what world. Where is her team? Her publicist? HER BRAIN.”

In fairness, perhaps we should’ve seen this coming. Since his alleged abuse was aired in a court of law, we’ve learned that Depp was a Renaissance man, capable of finding love and securing several new cash streams, and that he was pretty much just doing the most with his one wild and “ruined life.”

Even still, of all the problematic men in Hollywood for Rihanna to include and outfit in—god forbid—silk, lace, or this onesie, Depp definitely feels like what we like to call a choice.

Kanye West has been like a vagabond recently as he has blown through tons of cash as he jumps from city-to-city while staying in luxury hotels and fancy rental homes.

The 45-year-old artist – who boasts an impressive an impressive portfolio – has opted to not stay in any of the homes he has purchased and instead live life as a transient who has splashed a ridiculous amount of cash.

Of his spending habits, a source – who claims to be one of Kanye’s former friends – told TMZ on Tuesday: ‘He blows through his money like it’s water.’

TMZ also notes that their insider claims that the All Of The Lights hitmaker has made some bold business decisions including firing Shervin Pishevar from Yeezy in addition to other advisors and publicists.

Earlier this week, Kanye launched into another anti-Semitic rant as he discussed a sex story involving his estranged wife Kim and her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson.

The rapper shocked fans last week when he tweeted that he was going to ‘go death con 3 on Jewish people…’ which resulted in him being banned from the microblogging app. 

Yet he doubled down on his view during an interview on Drink Champs as he claimed that Kim discussing her sex life with Pete alluded to Jewish Zionist practice.

West was referring to a scene on the The Kardashians, in which Kim, 41, spoke about how she slept with Pete, 28, in front of a fireplace in tribute to her grandmother.

‘It’s Jewish Zionists that’s about that life, that’s telling this Christian woman that has four black children to put that out as a message in the media.’ 

He continued: ‘So when I drive by and I see the Hulu ads and I see the JP [Morgan Chase] ads, I’m gonna let y’all know right now, the devil is a defeated foe – you can’t poison me.’

Kardashian filed from divorce from West in February of 2021, and the former couple are parents of four children: North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three.

In the controversial interview, West also said ‘the Jewish media blocked me out’ after a previous interview with a separate outlet was not aired; and that ‘Jewish people control the Black voice.’

West said he spoke without fear of harming his professional or personal life, as he said he has already been subject to numerous consequences.

‘Y’all already f****d with me so much you already Black Mirrored me; you already made people think I’m crazy, you already took my family away, you already separated all my friends. I don’t got no celebrity friends.’

West also took aim at talk show host Trevor Noah, who has past been critical of his behavior amid a public series of outbursts aimed at Kardashian and Davidson earlier this year.

‘Trevor Noah, not even from America, he just looks Black right?’ West said. ‘Gonna say, yo, Kim it’s gonna get dangerous, he putting all that “He so crazy, he’s so OJ.” Nori just wants the family back together, I just want the family back together.’ 

Elsewhere during the interview, West said: ‘Jewish people have owned the black voice. Whether it’s through us wearing a Ralph Lauren shirt, or it’s all of us being signed to a record label, or having a Jewish manager, or being signed to a Jewish basketball team, or doing a movie on a Jewish platform like Disney.’

Candid: Prior to their split, Kim opened up about her sexual encounter with Davidson while speaking with her grandmother Mary Jo ‘MJ’ Campbell in a segment on the show 

He continued: ‘I respect what the Jewish people have done and how they brought their people together. You know they came into money through the lawyers. After Wall Street, when all of the Catholics, they wouldn’t divorce people, so the Jewish people came in they were willing to divorce people and that’s when they came into their money.’

West said that he and other black people are the ‘darker Jews’ as they are part of the 12 lost tribes of Israel. ‘We’re Jewish also. We’re from Africa also. We’re the blood of Christ. We’re not just black,’ he went on.

The rapper said that venture capitalist Ben Horowitz once called him to complain that Jay-Z was giving away ‘Jewish business secrets.’

Last week , the Holocaust Museum in Los Angeles invited the Chicago rapper to visit their exhibitions. The museum said in an Instagram post: ‘Words matter and words have consequences Ye. We urge you to come visit us at Holocaust Museum LA to understand just how words can incite horrific violence and genocides.

The post continued: ‘The Holocaust started with only words that sadly begat stereotypes, racial and religious tropes and blaming others and led to the murder of six million Jews.’

According to the American Jewish Council, Jewish people are the targets of 60 percent of religious hate crimes in America despite making up two percent of the population.

Shocking: West’s vitriolic message against Jewish people was his second in as many weeks, as last week, as he posted an antisemitic message October 7 after he faced restrictions on Instagram

A review of Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson in Meet Cute

The first day at any “introduction to screenwriting” class worth its salt hammers one thing home: your story won’t connect with an audience if your lead characters don’t want anything. Yes, yes, rules are made to be broken, and experimental art is vital to the expansion of any form, but I do not think that Meet Cute, a two-hander low-budget rom-com debuting on Peacock, had this as its goal. It is, instead, simply a failure.

Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson, two terrific performers who have done and will continue to do marvelous things in their careers, are stuck in a loop of first dates in this aggravating and perplexing feature from director Alex Lehmann. It’s a gimmick like Groundhog Day or Palm Springs, only this time it’s self-imposed, through time travel. Imagine Primer, but as a When Harry Met Sally-inspired sitcom, then swap out insightful dialogue for the meandering tedium of an endless one act play. (And not a good one, like David Ives’s Sure Thing, to which Meet Cute owes a significant debt.)

The production, hampered by shooting around COVID-19 protocols, tries to liven things up by using Lower Manhattan locations, but it doesn’t have any ideas more original than “an Indian restaurant!” or “the ferry!” It’s exhausting.

The first time we meet Cuoco’s Sheila she’s got the hots for Davidson’s Gary, eyeing him at the end of a bar. She comes on to him, but before they split to take the yapping to a new locale, she tells him she’s a time traveler. She’s making cutesy/wacky faces, so Gary rolls with it for a while. But when she starts finishing his sentences, he gets confused.

Turns out, she really is a time traveller. You see, there’s a nail salon with a tanning bed in the back that can send you back 24 hours. Fair enough. While this date is the first we in the audience see, it’s actually the seventh. She keeps returning the next morning because … well, this part is a little unclear.

Sheila is also a murderer, because each time she goes back in the tanning bed, she finds herself from the new timeline and runs that version of herself over with her car. This makes for a good laugh, but doesn’t exactly leave one rooting for this person as the other Kaley Cuoco tries to escape in terror.

The date continues for about a year, and it includes some chatter with Deborah S. Craig as the nail salon manager June, who seems pretty blasé about this woman coming by every day. In fact, June is aware of Sheila’s ongoing cycle of visits, and their fruitlessness in helping Sheila find happiness, but this makes no sense. If Sheila is finding a fresh Gary each time, June should be just as clueless as he is. (Also, does Sheila sleep? Unclear.)

Eventually, things start to go south, because Sheila finds a way to travel even further back in time in an attempt to “fix” the upsetting incidents from Gary’s youth. His father was never around to play ball with him, so a mysterious uncle (Cuoco in a fake mustache) shows up with a mitt. She also drops by during Gary’s awkward teen years as a Russian pizza delivery girl to liberate him from virginity. When the latest Gary—whose easier path in life has turned him into a bit of a tech douche—learns about this time-warp tinkering he gets angry. Eventually he shouts that he can’t do this anymore. Do what anymore? This is all brand new to him if you follow the logic of this story!

Clearly, some audience members (raises hand) get more hung up on rules than others. Rian Johnson’s Looper and its dismissal about making sense of time travel (“we’re gonna’ be here all day making diagrams with straws”) is great, but you need a modicum of logic to make the hook work, and Meet Cute simply does not have it.

This would be more forgivable if the scene work were excellent. Though these actors are game, the script is pedestrian. Davidson is his typically low-key charming self, as seen in the quite good The King Of Staten Island and the even better Big Time Adolescence (streaming on Hulu right now if you’ve missed it), and hanging out with him and Cuoco in full daffy mode borders on charming. But there aren’t any clever moments, just a parade of clichés you’ve seen in many other indie romances.

In 2019 Alex Lehmann released another two-hander, the far more successful Paddleton with Ray Romano and Mark Duplass. It, too, is mostly just two people talking, but there’s a depth and humanity that is absent here. Meet Cute has all the unoriginality of a forgettable low-budget picture—and eye-rolling dialogue like making Kaley Cuoco say “all the things!”—plus a central premise that just doesn’t work. Don’t feel bad if you stand this one up.

Pete Davidson’s sister pens touching tribute to late firefighter dad who died on 9/11

The younger sister of Pete Davidson penned a touching tribute to their late father, a firefighter killed in the September 11 attacks, on the 21st anniversary of the horrific day.

“This year more than ever I wish you could be here,” Casey Davidson, 25, wrote in an Instagram post. “We miss you, we celebrate you and we remember you every day. Proud to be your caseygirl.”

Casey Davidson was just three years old, while her comedian-actor brother was seven when their father, Scott Davidson, died while responding to the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers.

Scott Davidson, who was 33 years old, and five other firefighters from Ladder Company 118 in Brooklyn Heights raced across the Brooklyn Bridge to the burning skyscrapers.

The six fire-eaters were last seen running up the stairs of the Marriott World Trade Center Hotel to save terrified guests. The hotel was destroyed when the towers collapsed.

According to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, the Staten Island father’s lifelong dream was to be a firefighter.

An obituary for him on the site states that his “acts of heroism are not surprising.”

“He was a brave and fearless man and a devout patriot,” it states.

Pete and Casey Davidson were the most important things to the Staten Island father, according to the obituary.

“He was very proud of them‚ and he was happiest while coaching them‚ having a catch or watching a dance recital,” it states. “He coached his son Peter in football and baseball‚ and his daughter Casey was certainly a ‘Daddy’s Girl.’ He loved his children above all things.”

Casey Davidson graduated from Pace University and Lennox Hill Hospital’s physician assistant program last month.

While Pete Davidson — who became the youngest cast member on “Saturday Night Live” — is off social media, he has often praised and honored his father’s memory.

The 28-year-old Staten Island star, known for his many tattoos, got his dad’s FDNY badge number as his first tattoo.

Last year, Pete Davidson and fellow funnyman Jon Stewart hosted a comedy benefit at Madison Square Garden to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. Proceeds from the show went to various 9/11 charities.

Pete Davidson, who reportedly takes after his late father’s humor, also co-wrote and starred in “The King of Staten Island” which follows the life of an aspiring tattoo artist struggling over the death of his father in a not-too-subtle homage.

The comedian has recently been in the news for his break-up with Kim Kardashian and the May announcement that he is leaving SNL after eight years on the show.

‘He’s a cutie. He’s literally such a good person, they don’t really make them like him anymore. I’m excited for what he has coming up,’ the star, 41, told the publication.

A source close to the Saturday Night Live star, 28, explained to Us Weekly late last month that, ‘Pete is focusing on himself and his career right now and trying to make himself happy.’

The Rookie actor has been putting his spare time into focusing on his own work and projects.

‘He’s got a huge career ahead of him and has a ton of irons in the fire post-SNL,’ the insider informed the entertainment publication.

Kanye West took an active role in the construction on his $57 million Malibu home when he visited the site on Friday.

The 45-year-old rapper had a special guest with him, the OnlyFans model Monica Corgan, who did her best to keep a low profile.

Kanye’s focus on his gutted home, which he purchased last year for a staggering $57.3 million, comes after he once again returned to Instagram, though this time without a post mocking his ex-wife Kim Kardashian or her now-ex Pete Davidson.

Although there was no indication that the formerly married couple might get back together, Kanye’s behavior toward her and Pete — and his final parting shot at the comedian — seems to have ended those prospects for good.

‘She has been vigorously defending Pete. She’ll never get back together with Kanye over the way he’s treated the people she loves and respects,’ the source continued.

Hours after he shared the post, it was taken down and his Instagram was again empty.

Kim Kardashian has been counting down the days for when she can be reunited with her beau, Pete Davidson. 

The actor, 28, first met the reality star, 41, when she was a guest star and host on Saturday Night Live in October 2021. 

The comedian has been abroad in Australia, filming his latest movie titled, Wizards! A source informed People that the TV personality is beyond the moon that he will be back in the United States since production on the project is coming to an end.

An insider close to the two revealed to People, ‘Kim loved visiting Pete in Australia in July. They had been apart for several weeks and they enjoyed a long weekend together.’ 

On a positive note for the media influencer, filming will wrap up this month in August, meaning they won’t have to separated much longer. But Pete will still keep busy when he arrives back home. 

‘Pete is still filming, but will be finished now in August. He has another project in the U.S. though, so he will continue to be busy.’
