Elsewhere during filming, Harrison Ford’s stunt double charged through a crowded parade celebrating Apollo 11’s landing in 1969 on horseback.

Bolting down a city centre street in a grey suit, the action-packed scene saw a lookalike for 79-year-old Harrison rip through a banner as cheerleaders performed in the street and crowds waving American flags looked on in surprise.

Harrison himself has been forced to take a break from filming for three months as he recovers from a shoulder injury sustained on set, and appeared in high spirits while stepping out at Silverstone on Sunday ahead of the British Grand Prix.

Back in Scotland, his stunt double was chased down a street in an action-packed scene.

Harrison’s body double was seen wearing Indiana Jones’s signature grey suit and burgundy tie while galloping down the street, with a stand-in for Boyd Holbrook hot on his heels.

Crew members were seen rearranging props in between takes, with two carrying an enormous clapper board across the street.

Filming for the fifth and final Indiana Jones movie in the series was thought to have been pushed back by three months due to Harrison’s injuries, after being originally due for release in 2022.

It’s been a fresh blow for the movie – which sees James taking on directing duties from long-time helmer Steven Spielberg – after shooting was previously pushed back as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Impressive: As the stuntman charged down the street, cameras could be seen capturing every movement

Banner: Harrison’s stuntman rode his black horse straight through one of the parade’s banners

Still going: Unfazed by the banner, the striking animal kept going at full pace

I can’t see! The banner – held on each end by one of the parade’s cheerleaders – temporarily obscured the stuntman’s vision

Hurray! Cheerleaders could be seen throwing their hands in the air as the stuntman and his well-trained horse sped by

Masked up: Many of the cheerleaders were also sporting facemasks in keeping with pandemic restrictions

An insider told The Sun’s Bizarre column: ‘It is Harrison’s last outing as Indiana and everyone thought it would be plain sailing.

‘After the initial delays everyone was raring to go. But now Harrison is injured and it is worse than first thought.

‘The film’s bosses have come together to work out the scheduling and it’s chaos. The earliest they think they can restart the production is September.

‘It was not what anyone was expecting so to have to change everything is a huge blow. Everyone was concerned for Harrison and they are glad he is on the mend.’

Throwback: Director James looked animated as he instructed cast members dressed as sailors during the parade

Showtime: The director looked in his element as he waved his hands about before the scene began

Hot on his heels: A stand-in for actor Boyd Holbrook was hot on the heels of Ford’s lookalike

Easy does it: Holbrook’s stunt double weaved through the crowded parade on an old-fashioned motorbike

Impressive scenes: One of Glasgow’s city centre streets had been completely transformed

Cheerleaders: A procession of cheerleaders with pom poms and majorettes in bright red outfits lined the street

Police: Actors in police suits lined the barricades separating spectators from the parade

Enormous! Two crew members were seen carrying an enormous clapper board through the street

High spirits: The cheerleaders did an excellent job of remaining in high spirits throughout the shoot

Off he goes! Harrison’s stunt double galloped through crowds of people tightly packed together

Spectators: The street was lined with spectators and dozens of extras took part in the action-packed scene

Signs: A sign that read: ‘Welcome Apollo 11 astronauts’ was visible on the Glasgow set

One person killed at conclusion of parade in Slater

A celebration turned into a tragedy moments after a parade concluded Saturday in Slater, as a driver accidentally backed into a crowd and killed one person. The accident injured multiple people–including a 6-year-old boy who was airlifted to a hospital–and onlookers raced to lift up the car to get to those trapped below it. The accident occurred at Main and Tama streets at about 11 a.m. The final entries in the parade had just passed that intersection moments earlier. Witnesses say the vehicle reversed from a parking spot on someone’s lawn and lurched up a small gully and into a street still filled with people beginning to leave the parade. Firsthand accounts describe an elderly driver who was very distraught and said she confused the gas for the brake pedal. Dozens of people raced in to offer help in any way they could, from those trying to lift the car to off-duty medical workers trying to render aid. “It was a blur. My adrenaline was going,” said Dan McCrady, one of those who helped lift the car. “We just got to the front of the car and counted to three and we were able to lift it up, thankfully,” he said. “I knew there were people under the car, I didn’t know how many, who it was. I just know we had to get it up.”The Iowa State Patrol reports Mary Nienow of Albert Lea was killed. Three other people were taken to hospitals with injuries.

Tom Brady talks Lombardi Trophy toss, his parade sea legs and what Gisele told him after Super Bowl win

Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is still celebrating Tampa Bay’s Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs. A few weeks removed from the game and parade, we are now finding out more about what was going through his mind when he tossed the Lombardi Trophy off a boat and whether there was more to him stumbling than just sea legs. The QB went on CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” to discuss it all Tuesday night.

Brady started off talking about the offseason, saying his life is totally different when the gridiron isn’t his number one focus. He gets back to focusing on being a dad and doing house chores when there aren’t NFL games to play. An on the topic of playing NFL games, Brady said that his wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, has been asking him for a while when he would finally be done with football so he can help with those dad duties and house chores all year round.

The 43-year-old QB doesn’t seem close to hanging up his cleats, though.

Even after winning his seventh Super Bowl — the most not just by a quarterback, but by any team in NFL history — he still wants to play … and Bundchen is wondering what more he could check off his football bucket list. Brady told a story of the first moments after his Super bowl LV win, joking about his wife’s immediate reaction.

“All of a sudden I see my oldest son run over to me ‘Dad!’ and I gave him a big hug and I saw my two little ones and then all of a sudden I saw my wife and I gave her a big hug, and just as I did it she says, ‘What more do you have to prove?'” Brady explained.

When asked what he did, Brady said he gave her a hug and tried to quickly change the subject.

After the Super Bowl win, of course, comes a parade and Brady, uh well, looked a little different at this one. For starters, it was the first championship parade where he threw the Lombardi Trophy from one boat to another, with a risk of it dropping 80 feet into the water.

Brady is usually pretty calculated before he makes a pass. He reads the defense, evaluates coverage, keeps his eyes on the pass rush while also looking downfield, and has to recall and refer to his preparation and film study to decide on what to do with the ball.

Let’s say that less thought went into the Lombardi Trophy pass.

“I don’t remember that quite as well,” Brady said. “I was not thinking at that moment, there was not a thought. It was, ‘this seems like really fun to do.'”

In the video of that now iconic, pass, you can hear his eight-year-old daughter Vivian yelling, “Daddy, no!”

“Who could imagine that an eight-year-old girl would have the most sense of anybody,” Brady said. “She’s the voice of reason.”

Another iconic moment from the parade came when the Super Bowl MVP appeared to be struggling to walk once he got back on land. After cringing at the video of himself, he admitted that it was a little bit of sea legs and a little bit of tequila that contributed to the viral moment.

“That was definitely a moment of celebration. I’m happy I’m on land at that point,” he said.

Reflecting on the season, Brady said that the 2020 season was a lot different than his two decades with the New England Patriots, where at the beginning of the season everyone was already asking who they were playing in the championship.

“People jumped ahead of all the intense competition,” he said, while adding that in Tampa no one was asking that. “It was so much fun to see a team (the Bucs) come together the way that it did.”

Before the interview ended, Brady did speak like a true former Patriots player despite not being with the team anymore.

When Corden jokingly asked if he could make it in the NFL, Brady said no, but then agreed that with Corden’s lack of experience and athletic talent, he would fit right in with a particular New York team.

“You might be able to play for the Jets, actually you’re right about that,” Brady said.

Tom Brady finally reacts to all the furor surrounding his crazy throw of the Lombardi Trophy at parade

It’s been nearly two weeks since Tom Brady decided to get a little crazy by throwing the Lombardi Trophy off his boat at the Buccaneers Super Bowl parade and in the time since his drunken throw, a lot of people have shared their feelings about it — not everyone was a fan — but one person we haven’t heard from his Brady himself.

Although Brady had some fun on Twitter after the parade by mocking himself for his apparent drunkenness, the quarterback never said or wrote anything about how he felt about his toss of the Lombardi Trophy. However, that changed over the weekend when Brady mentioned the throw for the first time on social media.

During one of his Instagram stories — and just for the record, Brady posts a lot of Instagram stories — the quarterback shared an image where he called the trophy toss “the riskiest pass I threw all season.”

(If you can’t see the full image, click here)

I will go ahead and agree with Brady on the fact that it was his riskiest pass of the season.

When you throw a pass on an NFL field, the risk is very minimal, there are two bad things that could happen: It will get intercepted or fall incomplete. On the other hand, when you’re throwing a Lombardi trophy during a parade, there are multiple bad things that could happen: Brady could have dropped the trophy on his foot, he could have thrown the trophy in the water, the trophy could have cracked someone’s head open. Also, throwing a trophy across any body of water is a low percentage throw, especially when you’re drunk.

Even Brady’s daughter thought the throw was a bad idea. You can hear her yelling “nooooo” in the video below.

Of course, this story has a happy ending because Brady managed to come through under pressure like he always does. The 43-year-old threw a perfect pass that was caught by Cameron Brate, which was good news for Brate, because he was ready to retire if he didn’t come down with the reception.

“If I had dropped that? I think I would’ve had to retire,” Brate said after the parade. “That was amazing. He pointed it at me. We talked about it earlier. It was a great throw. I mean, what do you expect from Tom Brady? A great throw.”

Brady was definitely aware of the risk involved, because a later video showed the quarterback laughing about one of the scenarios that could have played out on the throw.

“If that hit your face, it would’ve been a disaster,” Brady said.

The good news for Brady and Brate is that the disaster was averted, which means the two will now be remembered for pulling off the greatest throw-and-catch of the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl parade history.

‘Drunk Tom Brady’ trends as NFL legend is seen partying during Bucs’ Super Bowl parade

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and the rest of his teammates celebrated their Super Bowl LV victory on Wednesday afternoon with a boat parade.

At one point during the parade, Brady was captured launching the Lombardi Trophy from his boat to tight end Rob Gronkowski, who caught it with ease just like the two touchdown passes he caught on Sunday to help the Bucs win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.

“Noting to see her…just litTle avoCado tequila,” Brady wrote.

“We just made history in all the world,” linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul said. “This means so much to me, I’ll do it again. We’re gonna do it again.”

Highlights from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Super Bowl victory parade

The Tampa Bay Lightning did it. Now it’s the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ turn.

To celebrate their 31-9 win in Super Bowl LV, the Bucs have taken to the water for a victory parade that’s more friendly to social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Lightning did the same thing to celebrate their Stanley Cup win in September.

The Bucs’ boat parade runs on the Hillsborough River, which is along the downtown waterfront. Fans can view the parade at various spots along the river, with masks required. Check out these highlights.
