Pete Davidson Texts Kim Kardashian Amid Kanye West ‘White Lives Matter’

A helping hand. Pete Davidson is texting Kim Kardashian after Kanye’s “White Lives Matter” Instagram posts. The former SNL comedian is reportedly comforting Kim by texting her some supportive words.

According to Hollywood Life, The King of Staten Island star has been texting his ex amid what’s happening online.  “A lot of people have been reaching out to offer Kim support, including Pete [Davidson],” the source said. “He’s in the middle of shooting another movie but he’s been in touch. He’s such a sweet guy and Kim’s grateful they can still be friends.” They continued, “Pete and Kim still talk on occasion and several weeks after the break up, they had gotten to a place of being cordial with each other. Pete has texted Kim a few times about the whole Kanye situation because he still cares about her as a person and wanted to check in to see how she was doing.”

Kanye debuted his “White Lives Matter” shirt at Paris Fashion Week and it was immediately met with criticism from celebrities like Gigi Hadid. A source told Hollywood Life, “Kim is not surprised by Kanye decision to wear that on his shirt and thinks that he is, once again, trying to get attention,” the source dished. “She knows that he loves to start controversy and she is not even feeding into this. Sure, she thinks that he is making a horrible choice and that the message is very offensive to so many.” Kanye was a huge supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020. He not only marched in protests, but also donated $2 million to the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor. “Kim knows how much support Kanye gave to the Black Lives Matter movement,” the source added and said she was “utterly confused” by his choice to wear such a shirt.

A source told People on August 8, 2022, that Pete is dealing with Kanye’s backlash from his earlier 2022 rampage through therapy. The source confirmed that since April, he “has been in trauma therapy in large part. The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he’s had to seek out help.” On Kim’s part, “she’s been nothing but supportive of [Pete] throughout their relationship.” News of the two splitting up broke on August 5, 2022, and the insider added that Pete is paying attention to his own life, “Moving forward he just wants to focus on his career.”

A source confirmed to Page Six on August 5, 2022, that Kim and Pete had broken up after nine months of dating. “Kim and Pete have decided to just be friends,” the insider said. “They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.” According to Page Six’s source, Kim and Pete’s 13-year age difference was part of the reason for their split  “Pete is 28 and Kim is 41 — they are just in very different places at the moment,” the insider said. “Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice.” The source continued, “But Kim has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids.” Kim has four kids with Kanye: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4 and Psalm, 3.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West attend daughter North’s basketball game separately

While they may not be on speaking terms of late, Kim Kardashian and her ex-husband Kanye West both attended their daughter North’s basketball game on Friday — although the two arrived separately.

Kardashian pulled up to the game with North, 9, along with her and West’s three other children — Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, TMZ reported.

West, meanwhile, showed up solo.

The two have not been communicating since the “Yeezus” hitmaker’s recent “White Live Matters” shirt stunt in Paris, his subsequent interview with Tucker Carlson, and his anti-Semitic rants, sources told Page Six.

The Skims mogul is so fed up with West’s behavior that she doesn’t even talk to him about their kids’ schedules anymore without a third party, sources familiar with the situation tell Page Six.

“They have had zero communication in several weeks, and all communication regarding the kids’ schedules are now coordinated through assistants,” a source told Page Six.

Friday was only the second time in weeks that the two appeared at one of North’s events after the reality tv star and rapper both attended one of her basketball games last week.

West, 45, and Nick Cannon embraced outside of West’s daughter’s basketball game Friday.

West was seen embracing fellow celebrity Nick Cannon before he walked into the game.

He left before North’s game ended while Kardashian stayed with the four kids the whole time, according to TMZ.

Yeezy, owned by Ye, aka Kanye West, cut ties to JPMorgan before ‘White Lives Matter,’ antisemitism controversy

JPMorgan Chase is severing ties with Yeezy Brands, owned by Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West.

The bank sent Ye a letter on Sept. 20, weeks before he mired himself in controversy after wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt at his Paris fashion show and writing antisemitic social media posts.

The letter was shared by Ye’s friend conservative activist Candace Owens on Twitter who commented, “We have reached extremely frightening times in this country.” She didn’t specify in her tweet when the letter was sent.

Ye told the New York Post of the news Wednesday, “Hey, if you call somebody out for bad business, that means you’re being antisemitic. I feel happy to have crossed the line of that idea so we can speak openly about things like getting canceled by a bank.”

Ye said he planned to cut his corporate ties in an interview a week before the bank’s letter, telling Bloomberg, “It’s time for me to go it alone.”

He added, “It’s fine. I made the companies money. The companies made me money. We created ideas that will change apparel forever. Like the round jacket, the foam runner, the slides that have changed the shoe industry. Now it’s time for Ye to make the new industry. No more companies standing in between me and the audience.”

He had also criticized executives at JPMorgan before the interview on Instagram and said he couldn’t get the CEO on the phone.

“I feel like there’s a lot of controlling and handling to suppress my ability to affect the American economy and industry,” Ye told Bloomberg of JPMorgan.

The bank gave Yeezy 60 days from the letter to find a new institution for its money.

Yeezy has already ended its relationship with Gap and Adidas said its partnership with the mogul is “under review” following the “White Lives Matter” controversy.

“After repeated efforts to privately resolve the situation, we have taken the decision to place the partnership under review,” the company said on Oct. 6, three days after Ye’s fashion show. “We will continue to co-manage the current product during this period,” the company said in a statement.

No reason has been specified by JPMorgan’s severing of ties.

JPMorgan Chase Actually Cut Ties With Kanye West Before His Antisemitic Tweets

Contrary to what Candace Owens has insinuated, JPMorgan ended its banking relationship with Kanye West last month, weeks before the rapper and fashion designer lost access to his social media accounts over an antisemitic tweet.

On Wednesday, Owens posted a photo of a letter addressed to West from JPMorgan Chase saying that the bank “has decided to end its banking relationship with Yeezy, LLC and its affiliated entities.” The bank gave West until Nov. 21 to move his assets to another bank or receive the remainder of his funds via check.

Owens, a conservative commentator who has grown close to the Yeezy founder in recent weeks, claimed that the bank gave no official reason for the severance. However, she appeared to frame JPMorgan’s decision as backlash against West’s recent controversies, including when he vowed to go “death con 3” on Jewish people in a tweet this past weekend, and when he wore a “White Lives Matter” shirt at Paris Fashion Week last week.

“I want to say that I do not care what you think about Ye West—but I very much care what you think about this,” Owens tweeted alongside the letter. “We have reached extremely frightening times in this country.”

But the bank’s move was unrelated to West’s recent caustic remarks; a source close to the situation tells The Daily Beast that the letter was sent on Sept. 20, weeks before his antisemitic tweet and his fashion show.

The source added that the letter was actually sent after West’s interview with CNBC last month, in which he announced his intention to stop banking with JPMorgan while also railing against his corporate partnerships with Gap and Adidas.

“I’m moving my money over from JPMorgan over to Bank of America, possibly, because I go and move $140 million over to JPMorgan and [CEO] Jamie Dimon never calls me,” West said at the time. “I find out Jing Ulrich is one of the heads of the board at Adidas and one of the heads of the board at JPMorgan, and they already treat me a certain way at Adidas. It doesn’t matter how much money you move over there.”

It remains unclear how the termination between JPMorgan and West actually unfolded, and whether it was a mutual decision after all.

West ended his partnership with Gap last month. Adidas placed its own partnership with West under review days before his antisemitic remarks.

“The Adidas Yeezy partnership is one of the most successful collaborations in our industry’s history,” the company said in a statement last week. “We are proud of our team that has worked tirelessly throughout our collaboration with Ye and the iconic products that were born from it. We also recognize that all successful partnerships are rooted in mutual respect and shared values. After repeated efforts to privately resolve the situation, we have taken the decision to place the partnership under review.”

Kanye West ban – latest: Rapper now accused of praising Hitler as LeBron James cancels him for antisemitism

Fox News hosts forced to make on-air U-turn over support for Kanye West

A former TMZ staffer said he was unsurprised by Kanye West’s troubling antisemitic language recently, claiming the rapper made comments praising “Hilter and the Nazis“ in a previous, edited interview at the celebrity gossip site.

Van Lathan, the host of the Higher Learning podcast, said West sat down with TMZ for an interview and claimed the rapper said he “loved Hitler and the Nazis.” According to Mr Lathan, that portion was cut out of the interview.

Earlier it was announced that LeBron James’s YouTube talk show Uninterrupted The Shop would not show an interview with West after he used “more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes” during a taping.

The Shop, which is produced by James and his business manager, Maverick Carter, said in a statement first issued to Andscape on Tuesday that they would be canning the episode taped with Ye this week and would not be disclosing the contents of what was specifically said, but apologised to the crew and guests for “believing Kanye wanted a different conversation”.

“Hate speech should never have an audience,” said Mr Carter.

Leaked video footage from earlier on Tuesday also showed that West reportedly made a string of anti-semitic comments that were edited out of his interview with Tucker Carlson.

The rapper, who remains banned from Twitter and Instagram for a string of separate anti-Semitic posts, also made bizarre statements that “fake children” had been put in his home to manipulate his own children. The controversial fashion mogul also talked about having visions of “kinetic energy” that he is sent by God.

Canadian Jewish advocacy group labels Kanye West’s tweets ‘Jew hatred in plain sight’

ICYMI: The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, an advocacy group of Jewish Federations across Canada, issued a video condemning Kanye West’s most recent attacks on social media platforms, labelling the posts “Jew hatred in plain sight”.

“In #Canada, Jews remain the most targeted religious minority for hate crimes,” the CIJA wrote in a tweet on Wednesday. “Kanye West’s recent post perpetuated stereotypical antisemitic tropes. Language like this has led to violence & targeted attacks against the Jewish community.”

In a video attached to the tweet, the group explains how incendiary comments like the ones West made over the weekend have been used to justify violence against the religious minority in the past.

“This is Jew hatred in plain sight,” a caption in the video reads after sharing a screenshot of West’s tweet from Saturday night.

ICYMI: Kanye West has released a video in which he appears to show a porn video to Adidas business executives.

The rapper, who goes by Ye, released the bizarre 30-minute vlog titled ‘LAST WEEK’ on his YouTube channel on Monday morning. In one clip, he appears to be in a business meeting with five men when he pulls out his phone to show the group a video.

Mehdi Hasan calls out Fox News after video tapes of Kanye West interview unearthed

ICYMI: Mehdi Hasan took Fox News to task after unaired versions of the network’s two-part interview with Kanye West were unearthed and showed the rapper making a string of anti-Semitic comments that were edited out of his interview with host Tucker Carlson.

“Here’s a thought: neither the political party nor the TV network that excused or ignored Trump’s antisemitism, Greene’s antisemitism, Gosar’s antisemitism, and now Kanye West’s antisemitism should probably never be taken seriously again on the issue of antisemitism,” tweeted the MSNBC host.

ICYMI: Leaked videos reveal West made anti-Semitic comments that were edited out of Carlson interview

Kanye West made a string of anti-Semitic comments that were edited out of his interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News, according to a report.

The rapper, who is currently banned from Twitter and Instagram for a string of separate anti-Semitic posts, also made bizarre statements that “fake children” had been put in his home to manipulate his own children. Bella Hadid seemingly reacts to Kanye West’s anti-Semitic posts: ‘This is NOT okay’

ICYMI: Bella Hadid has seemingly addressed Kanye West’s recent anti-Semitic posts, noting on Instagram that it would be a “disservice” to herself and her loved ones if she did not “speak up.”

On Tuesday, the 26-year-old shared a statement to condemn antisemitism and the “things” that have been shared about it recently on “public platforms”.

While she didn’t mention West by name, her post comes after the rapper went to Twitter to claim that he would go “death con three on JEWISH PEOPLE”.

“To allow any form of antisemitism to slip by, as desensitized as the world has become, it would be a disservice to my friends, the families I have grown up with, the people I love and work with, myself, and even the Palestinian cause as a whole,” she wrote.

Anne Frank Trust calls Kanye West’s tweets ‘deeply troubling’ and ‘dangerous’

ICYMI: The Anne Frank Trust, an education charity that empowers young people to challenge all forms of prejudice, warned that Kanye West’s antisemitic remarks were not only “deeply troubling” but also “dangerous” in a response shared on their account on Tuesday.

“The clear antisemitism present in recent tweets by Kanye West is not only deeply troubling and upsetting but also dangerous,” the account tweeted.

“His words incite violence and spread antisemitic conspiracies that cause real harm to the Jewish community. Words matter, especially when spoken by someone with such a large platform.”

Trevor Noah includes West’s comments in his top contenders for week’s most ‘amazing racism’

ICYMI: Trevor Noah’s late-night roast of Kanye West included a moment where he said the famed rapper’s comments had earned him a top-three spot in his ranking for the week’s most “amazing racism”.

“I don’t even know where to begin with this shit,” The Daily Show host began in his Tuesday night segment on the rapper, who remains locked out of his Twitter and Instagram accounts for separate antisemitic posts. “I mean promoting antisemitism to your 50 million followers?”

Zeroing-in on what he acknowledged was the less important point of West’s rants was the typo where the rapper wrote that he would be going “death con 3” on Jewish people.

“I know this is not the point but that’s not how you say it. I know it’s not the main issue. I know that,” Noah added. “But it’s DEF CON 3. Alright, not death con 3. Death con sounds like like a trade show where they unveil all the latest coffins or something.”

Kanye West episode on Lebron James’ show ‘The Shop’ canned after Ye uses ‘more hate speech’

ICYMI: Kanye West continued to air “more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes” during a taping of a new episode of LeBron James’s YouTube talk show Uninterrupted The Shop.

The Shop, which is produced by the championship-winning NBA star and his business manager, Maverick Carter, said in a statement first issued to Andscape on Tuesday that they would be pulling an episode taped with Ye and would not be disclosing the contents of what was specifically said by the controversial figure.

“Yesterday we taped an episode of The Shop with Kanye West. Kanye was booked weeks ago and, after talking to Kanye directly the day before we taped, I believed he was capable of a respectful discussion and he was ready to address all his recent comments,” Mr Carter said in the Tuesday statement, just days after the rapper was locked out of his Twitter and Instagram accounts for posting antisemitic comments. “Unfortunately, he used The Shop to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes.”

The statement from the executive producer added that the show would not be airing any of the specific comments made during the taping of the episode and that they took “full responsibility” for their error in judgement.

“While The Shop embraces thoughtful discourse and differing opinions, we have zero tolerance for hate speech of any kind and will never allow our channels to be used to promote hate,” said Mr Carter. “I take full responsibility for believing Kanye wanted a different conversation and apologize to our guests and crew. Hate speech should never have an audience.”

According to Andscape, James was not in attendance at the taping of West’s episode, which had been scheduled weeks before the recent controversies involving the rapper had even occurred.

CEO of American Jewish Committee calls Kanye comments ‘a clear and present danger’

The CEO of the American Jewish Committee has called Kanye West’s antisemitic comments “a clear and present danger to every Jewish person.”

Ted Deutch also called for Twitter, Instagram and other social media companies to keep the rapper off their platforms.

“Although some have tried, there is no rationale, no explaining away Kanye West’s rants on social media for anything else than what they are: vicious antisemitic statements that pose a clear and present danger to every Jewish person,” said Mr Deutch.

“With 31 million followers on Twitter and 18 million more on Instagram, West is an influencer in the worst sense of the word. With his vile online comments, West effectively encouraged hatred against Jews at a time when antisemitism and other hate crimes have risen to alarming levels around the world. This cannot be countenanced.

“West has acknowledged he suffers from bipolar disorder, but mental illness is no excuse for antisemitism. Let’s hope he gets the help he desperately needs. Until then, Twitter, Instagram should follow their own guidelines prohibiting hate speech and keep West’s anti-Jewish hate off their channels.”

Candace Owens says Kanye was dropped by JP Morgan after anti-semitic rant & White Lives Matter shirt

Kanye West and Ray J had an unlikely reunion Wednesday night at the Nashville premiere of Candace Owens’ new documentary The Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd and the Rise of BLM.

At the event, West posed on the red carpet with his ex-wife’s sex-tape partner rapper Ray-J, as well as Kid Rock.

Sources told TMZ  that Owens worked to get both West and Ray-J to the premiere as an attempted slight at their mutual ex, Kim Kardashian, who Owens recently called a ‘prostitute.’

Ray J’s appearance comes days after he concerned his fans when he posted a series of since deleted troubling posts that alluded to suicidal thoughts.

Also in attendance at the premiere was country music icon Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany Aldean, who recently found herself as the middle of a controversy concerning comments she made about trans children.

As he left the premiere, West reportedly addressed his recent online ramblings that appeared to target the Jewish community.

He told Page Six: ‘If you call somebody out for bad business, that means you’re being anti-Semitic.

‘I feel happy to have crossed the line of that idea so we can speak openly about things like getting canceled by a bank.’

West was also spotted at the premiere consorting with Project Veritas founder and guerilla journalist James O’Keefe.

The movie is Owens’ revealing investigation into the Black Lives Matter organization and how it has allocated the tens of millions of dollars amassed in recent years in the name of right racial injustice across the country.

The reunion took place just hours after Owens shared a screenshot of an email sent to Kanye West by JP Morgan Chase that tells the music and fashion mogul he will have to find a different establishment at which to bank the Yeezy Empire.

The purported note from Chase Bank reads, ‘We are sending this letter to confirm our recent discussion with (name block) that JPMorgan Chase Bank…has decided to end its banking relationship with Yeezy, LLC and its affiliated entities.’

The note does not provide a reason for the termination of the customer agreement and says West and his colleagues have until November 21 of this year to transfer accounts elsewhere.

Conservative commentator Candace Owens posted a screenshot of an email sent from Chase Bank to Kanye

Owens shared her thoughts Wednesday evening about the purported corporate cancelation of Kanye by Chase Bank

Following his Paris fashion week ‘White Lives Matter’ news cycle, Ye sat down with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson to expand upon some of his more controversial views

Owens, a conservative commentator and host of a show on Ben Shapiro’s The DailyWire, said the move by JPMorgan Chase is emblematic of the country reaching an ‘extremely frightening time.’

‘Who are [sic] what has landed us in to these times is an ongoing discussion which I would like to open up.

‘Tonight I am focusing on my BLM documentary premiere. We will revisit this crucial topic tomorrow,’ she wrote.

News of West’s ban from Chase comes soon after Motherboard leaked an unaired clip from his interview with Tucker Carlson, which heard him saying Planned Parenthood was created to ‘control the Jew populations’ through eugenics.

‘When I say Jew, I mean the 12 lost tribes of Judah, the blood of Christ, who the people known as the race black really are,’ he added. ‘This is who our people are. The blood of Christ. This, as a Christian, is my belief.’

The clip was notably absent from the interview when it aired on Fox News last week.

Nevertheless, the aired portions of West’s interview remained rife with bizarre statements, including a suggestion that his children had been replaced with ‘professional actors’ in his home to ‘sexualize my kids.’

He also pushed the anti-Semitic trope about Jewish people being good with money, saying ‘I prefer my kids knew Hanukkah than Kwanzaa. At least it will come with some financial engineering,’ before chuckling.

Despite ongoing controversy in his personal and professional life, Kanye appeared to have time for a date Monday with a woman he took to dinner at celeb hotspot Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California. Kanye sported an adidas sweatshirt, a curious move given his recent back-and-forth with the company, and a 2024 hat, hinting at another political run in the future

Owens recently supported West at his Paris fashion week show, where the controversy of his ‘White Lives Matter’ shirts began

West further fanned the flames after dismissing Black Lives Matter, the social movement created to protest social and racial injustices aimed at his own community, via his Instagram page

Last Monday, Owens attended the Yeezy season 9 fashion show in Paris, which sparked criticism after creator West sent models down the runway in his t-shirts.

West was also pictured wearing one of the shirts himself, as was right-wing commentator Owens.

Since the YZY Season 9 show in Paris last week, West has posted and deleted a number of messages to his Instagram, including one that read in all capital letters, ‘EVERYONE KNOWS THAT BLACK LIVES MATTER WAS A SCAM NOW ITS OVER YOU’RE WELCOME’ [sic].

The outspoken star appeared to be reinforcing a lack of faith in the cause, which has developed a reputation for staging mass street protests regarding the perceived mistreatment of minorities around the world, in addition to having leaders that misuse funds.

Eventually, he was kicked off the platform for posting an anti-Semitic tirade.

His Twitter account was suspended over the weekend after he tweeted: ‘I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.’

He added: ‘The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also. You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.’

His attack on Jewish people arrived just a day after sharing screenshots on Instagram revealing messages sent to Diddy in which West, 45, accused the rapper of being controlled by Jewish people trying to silence his ‘White Lives Matter’ message.

The post resulted in his Instagram account being suspended.

Following his suspension from Instagram, West tweeted that he was going to go ‘death con 3 on Jewish people,’ leading to his more recent Twitter suspension

Many have speculated that West – who has said he suffers from bi-polar disorder – is in the midst of a psychological episode.

Kanye has not yet offered comment on the latest round of corporate cancelation.

Corporate cancelation, de-banking, or having your assets frozen appears to be an increasingly popular response by powerful companies or bodies to individuals or groups with minority or dissenting opinion.

In February, Canadian banks froze the assets of a number of accounts belonging to people who participated in or supported the weeks-long Freedom Convoy protest that became tense and brutal.

Targets of the authoritative lock included a single mother who worked a minimum wage job who donated $50 to the cause of the truckers who were protesting strict COVID-19 requirements that prevented some from doing their job.

JP Morgan Chase bank cuts ties with Kanye West after anti-Semitic comments

JP Morgan Chase is the latest company to kick Kanye West to the curb amid his anti-Semitic comments.

Candace Owens revealed via Twitter on Wednesday that the bank sent him an official letter of termination “with no official reason given.”

“I was told there was no official reason given, but they sent this letter as well to confirm that he has until late November to find another place for the Yeezy empire to bank,” the controversial conservative figure tweeted along with a photo of the notice.

The letter read, “Dear Ye, We are sending this letter to confirm our recent discussion with [redacted name] that JP Morgan Chase Bank, N.A. (The Bank) has decided to end its banking relation with Yeezy LLC and its affiliated entities.”

However, the bank gave the “Heartless” rapper, 45, until November to find a new entity to hold his multibillion-dollar brand.

The news comes after numerous other brands decided to part ways with the rapper following his social media tirades, where he has attacked brands like Gap and Adidas.

The rapper has been under fire for his recent anti-Semitic comments.

Additionally, West was locked out of his social media accounts after making several comments against Jewish people.

Per Variety, in a since-deleted tweet, West “claimed that he couldn’t be anti-Semitic and said he had been “toyed with” by the Jewish people.”

While his shocking comments led to backlash from celebrities and people all around the world, podcaster Van Lathan claimed his comments didn’t come as a surprise as he had “already heard him say that stuff before.”

“I mean, I was taken aback because that type of anti-Semitic talk is disgusting. But as far as him, I knew that that was in him because when came to TMZ, he said that stuff and they took it out of the interview,” he alleged about Ye’s infamous 2018 interview with the outlet.

Kanye Declaring War on Jews Is Bad, But…

Celebrity Sightings In Los Angeles – January 10, 2022 – Credit: JOCE/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images/Getty Images

Daily Wire founder and conservative podcast host Ben Shapiro took to Twitter on Wednesday to downplay rapper Kanye West’s head-first dive into antisemitism. West had his Twitter and Instagram accounts restricted last week after lobbing various attacks at the Jewish community. On Tuesday, Vice revealed that Fox News had cut a series of antisemitic statements made by West out of a two-part interview aired last week on the network.

Shapiro, a practicing orthodox Jew, gave a qualified critique of West’s screed. “Two things can be true at once,” Shapiro wrote. “Kanye’s moves toward pro-life, faith, and family conservatism are encouraging; his “death con 3” posts and Black Hebrew Israelite language are clearly anti-Semitic and disturbing.”

In response to the controversy at Paris Fashion Week, West sat down for a two-part interview with white nationalism’s loudest primetime promoter, Tucker Carlson. On Tuesay, a leak of outtakes from the interview obtained by Vice revealed that Carlson’s production team cut a variety of bizzare, conspiratorial, and antisemitic statements made by West from the final version of the interview. The removed portions included West stating that he’d rather his kids learned about Hanukkah before Kwanzaa because “at least it will come with some financial engineering.”

Following widespread outrage over his display of “White Lives Matter” shirts at a Yeezy runway show in Paris, West began posting images on Instagram of text exchanges between himself, friends, and other industry names. His account was locked after he published screenshots of an exchange between himself and fellow rapper Diddy in which he suggested Diddy was being controlled by Jews. West reacted to the ban by taking to Twitter, where he posted that he was tired and when he woke up would go “death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE,” and had has account locked in response.

Much like Fox, Shapiro and other conservatives have rushed to reframe or outright dismiss West’s statements, arguing that the public reaction is based on a censorious desire to silence a global superstar who turned conservative. Shapiro hedging his condemnation of the outbursts with praise of West’s politics is notable given his history of forceful accusation of antisemitism against Democratic lawmakers.

Shapiro tweet comes days after his own employee, Daily Wire host Candace Owens, outright dismissed West’s “death con 3” threat, saying that no “honest person” would think the tweet was antisemitic. Owens appeared with West in a “White Lives Matter” shirt at Paris Fashion Week, and appeared on Carlson’s show on Monday to defend West. Owens told Carlson that “the result of Black Lives Matter has been white supremacy.”

For Shapiro, one of the most well-known Jewish political commentators in the United States, giving cursory acknowledgment to the attack while prioritizing the potential political gains Kanye represents for conservatives is emblematic of modern GOP policy: Nothing is too heinous, no lines exist, and there is no such thing as hypocrisy, so long as they are the ones reaping the benefits.

Kanye West ban – latest news: Video shows Tucker Carlson cut rapper’s anti-semitism and wild ‘fake children’ conspiracy

Fox News hosts forced to make on-air U-turn over support for Kanye West

Leaked video shows that Kanye West reportedly made a string of anti-semitic comments that were edited out of his interview with Tucker Carlson.

The rapper, who is currently banned from Twitter and Instagram for a string of separate anti-Semitic posts, also made bizarre statements that “fake children” had been put in his home to manipulate his own children. The controversial fashion mogul also talked about having visions of “kinetic energy” that he is sent by God.

Earlier the Holocaust Museum of Los Angeles extended a public invitation for him to visit the California-based facility, noting that the musician’s words “reach millions” and he had the choice to either “incite or inspire”.

“Words matter and words have consequences Ye. We urge you to come visit us at Holocaust Museum LA to understand just how words can incite horrific violence and genocides,” the museum wrote in a statement.

Elsewhere, alt-right figures took to various platforms online to celebrate and defend the rapper’s incendiary messages, which earned him a lockout on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Those account restrictions remained in place as of Tuesday morning.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez she joined a chorus of celebrities like John Legend, Lizzo and Jamie Lee Curtis in condemning West‘s anti-semitic remarks, which included a Saturday night tweet that said he would soon go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE,” according to internet archive records.

Over the weekend, West also shared a post on Instagram that suggested that Sean “Diddy” Combs was being controlled by Jewish people.

Ariana Grande shares posts condemning Kanye West’s remarks

ICYMI: American pop artist Ariana Grande shared the since-viral clip of Jamie Lee Curtis tearfully addressing Kanye West’s most recent anti-Semitic social media posts, during which she called them “abhorrent”.

In the clip, where Curtis is being interview by NBC Today host Hoda Kotb, she explains how when she saw the anti-Semitic post from West, she “burst into tears”.

“Death con three on Jewish people? What are you doing? I mean, it’s bad enough that fascism is on the rise around the world, but on Twitter, on a portal, to pour that in as if Jewish people haven’t had it hard enough?” said Curtis, who’s of Hungarian Jewish descent on her father’s side.

Why has Kanye West turned on his old friend Jared Kushner?

ICYMI: Kanye West took issue with a figure he’d previously professed his love for in his wide-ranging interview with Fox News’s Tucker Carlson: Jared Kushner.

Throughout the explosive Thursday night sitdown between the pair, Kanye addressed a number of topics, including his pro-life stance, his decision to don a red MAGA cap, labelled the body positive moment “demonic” and admonished the fashion industry for encouraging his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, to “stick her a** out” for magazines.

In one of the more zany and unexpected exchanges, Kanye sharply criticised Mr Kushner, a former senior White House adviser to his father-in-law, Donald Trump, insinuating that he was a person solely motivated by financial gain.

“I just think it was to make money,” he told Mr Carlson of Mr Kushner’s work facilitating the Abraham Accords, a deal that sought to normalise ties between Israel and Arab nations.

Though it seems relations between the two men have soured recently, the pair of Trump-loyalists were not always at odds with one another. Here, we chart the chummy-turned-hostile relationship between Mr Kushner and Kanye and explain why the recent tensions have unfolded.

Opinion: Kanye West’s antisemitism is part of a wider bigotry that appeals to the right

ICYMI: Kanye’s enthusiastic, undeniable embrace of antisemitism shows that antisemitism is central to, and an inevitable consequence of, the GOP’s embrace of a politics of division and intolerance, writes contributor Noah Berlatsky.

The right offers its adherents a suite of bigotry and hatred. If you are white, or Christian, or a man, or heterosexual, or cis, or a citizen, or old, the GOP will tell you that you are better than someone else out there. They will assure you that that someone else is trying to take away your money, your status, your power, and your God-given right to be as cruel and vicious and hateful to those who are less white, or less Christian, or less male than you are.

ICYMI: The Holocaust Museum of Los Angeles extended a public invitation to Kanye West to visit their California-based facility, noting that the musician’s words “reach millions” and he had the choice to either “incite or inspire”.

“Words matter and words have consequences Ye. We urge you to come visit us at Holocaust Museum LA to understand just how words can incite horrific violence and genocides,” the Holocaust Museum L.A. wrote in a statement, first reported by Page Six.

The statement arrives after a chorus of celebrities and political figures across the country have condemned the musician’s comments over the past weekend, which earned him a lockout from his accounts on both Instagram and Twitter.

“The Holocaust started with only words that sadly begat stereotypes, racial and religious tropes and blaming others and led to the murder of six million Jews,” the museum wrote, adding that it was the museum’s mission to commemorate people killed in all genocides from around the world – including the one perpetuated against the Armenian people.

“Of which your children would be included,” the museum noted, highlighting how West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, and their children are of Armenian descent.

“Your words reach millions and you can choose to incite or you can choose to inspire. We are located at 100 The Grove Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90036 and welcome you any time,” the museum wrote.

Jimmy Kimmel jokes that his ‘Kanye-themed bar mitzvah is off’

ICYMI: Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel couldn’t resist taking a public swipe at the celebrity who is, once again, dominating the headlines for his latest social media tirade.

On Monday night, after wrapping a bit about the country not being too keen to observe Columbus Day holiday – “there’s not even a Google doodle” for it, he jibed – the ABC host turned his attention to the “future president”.

Kanye West, he deadpanned, has been “Ye-zier than ever” Mr Kimmel began, before quipping that, “even Mel Gibson is like, reel it in, buddy.”

He explained how the rapper had accused Sean “Diddy” Combs in a text exchange he posted online of being controlled by Jewish people, to which the late-night host then defeatedly responded by saying: “I guess my Kanye-themed bar mitzvah is off!”

Far-right figures champion and celebrate Kanye West’s posts

ICYMI: While most took to condemning Kanye West after he blasted off a series of anti-Semitic posts over the weekend, the message he championed quickly took hold in alt-right circles where he was lauded as a warrior of “cancel culture” gone awry.

Andrew Torba, the CEO of the alt-right microblogging platform Gab, took to Twitter to beckon West to his platform after users had begun calling for a permanent ban on his account.

“How do we get Kanye on Gab?” tweeted Mr Torba, referring to his platform which is well-documented as a gathering space online for neo-Nazis, white supremacists and conspiracy theories such as QAnon.

Candace Owens, a 33-year-old conservative commentator, made her feelings about West’s posts very clear on her Monday podcast and claimed the media was overreacting to his posts, which have since been denounced by the Anti-Defamation League and the Black-Jewish Entertainment Alliance.

“If you are an honest person, you did not think this tweet was antisemitic. You did not think that he wrote this tweet because he hates or wants to genocide Jewish people,” she said, adding that “this does not represent the beginning of the Holocaust”.

Fox News hosts forced to make humiliating on-air U-turn over support for Kanye West

Fox News hosts conceded that Kanye West’s post directed at Jewish people was “ugly” and “condemnable”, making a swift on-air U-turn shortly after supporting the rapper.

Fox News hosts Will Cain and Pete Hegseth along with co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy defended West on Sunday after he was locked out of his Instagram and Twitter accounts for posts that were condemned as anti-Semitic.

While Cain and Hegseth said they did not see the posts because they were censored, Campos-Duffy who saw the posts said it was “totalitarian” and “anti-American” for Instagram to delete them.

After speaking in his defence, the Fox & Friends Weekend hosts returned to the television screens with a very different perspective after coming to know what he had actually posted.

Hegseth said it is “unfortunate” and Cain described it as “pretty ugly”.

Paul Stanley, who is Jewish, took to Twitter to slam the rapper, who has been banned from Twitter and Instagram and widely criticised for his recent comments.

Kanye West Episode Pulled From ‘The Shop’ For “Hate Speech” – The Hollywood Reporter

Kanye “Ye” West is doubling down on his recent controversial comments, using “more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes” in a taping of a new episode of the YouTube talk show Uninterrupted The Shop.

The producers behind The Shop, which is executive produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, have decided against airing the episode or revealing what West said. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Carter said, “Yesterday we taped an episode of The Shop with Kanye West. Kanye was booked weeks ago and, after talking to Kanye directly the day before we taped, I believed he was capable of a respectful discussion and he was ready to address all his recent comments. Unfortunately, he used The Shop to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes.”

The statement continues, “We have made the decision not to air this episode or any of Kanye’s remarks. While The Shop embraces thoughtful discourse and differing opinions, we have zero tolerance for hate speech of any kind and will never allow our channels to be used to promote hate. I take full responsibility for believing Kanye wanted a different conversation and apologize to our guests and crew. Hate speech should never have an audience.”

Sources told THR that James was not at the taping in question.

THR has reached out to YouTube for comment.

The Shop controversy is just the latest incident of West using language widely deemed to be racist or hate speech. Last Friday, the rapper-turned-fashion mogul set off a firestorm after he used antisemitic language in an Instagram post which saw the post pulled down and West locked out of his account.

On Saturday, West then returned to Twitter after a long hiatus from using the social media platform, but he again posted a tweet that was antisemitic, writing, “I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE.” The tweet was later taken down for violating Twitter’s rules.

West’s social media posts have been condemned by groups like the Anti-Defamation League, the American Jewish Committee and the Black-Jewish Entertainment Alliance.

On Sunday, Elon Musk, the prospective new owner of Twitter, tweeted that he had spoken to West about his racist tweet. Taking a highly personal approach to content moderation, Musk tweeted, “Talked to ye today & expressed my concerns about his recent tweet, which I think he took to heart.”

The controversy continued on Tuesday after tech publication Motherboard said it had obtained leaked footage from West’s recent interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News. The cut footage allegedly contained several antisemitic statements made by West and the statement that he is vaccinated against COVID-19, as well as several strange and confusing claims, Motherboard reported.
