Madonna causes social media meltdown by licking water out of dog bowl… after 50 Cent reignited feud

Madonna had social media users up in arms after she shared a video to her Instagram account in which she appeared to lick water out of a bowl.

The post, which one user dubbed ’embarrassing’ and ‘disgusting,’ featured the 64-year-old pop music icon posing for still photos before transitioning to a blurry clip of her on all fours as she put her head just above the bowl.

The clip, which grossed out several viewers on Twitter, was released shortly after the rapper 50 Cent reignited a feud with her after he called her a ‘grandma’ while mocking a video of her angrily lip syncing to a song by Baby Keem.

Not having it: Madonna upset several social media users after posting a slideshow to Instagram on Wednesday that included a short video clip of her appearing to drink out of a dog bowl

The Material Girl hitmaker was seen riding a motorbike in the latest images as she showed off her figure in the skimpy outfit.

She teamed the leg-flashing shorts with daring fishnet tights and over-the knee suede black boots as she put on an animated display.

Madonna completed her look with a furry green T-shirt with a black under-top and wore white framed sunglasses and a huge silver necklace to accessorize, and she wore her red tresses in curly waves.

But the section that seemed to offend several social media users was a break in the midst of her slideshow that cut to video of her seem to leaning down for a drink in a silver dog bowl inside the garage.

Wow! Madonna donned a pair of tiny black shorts and fishnet tights to pull a series of sexy poses in new snaps on Wednesday

Hitting back: But the section that seemed to offend several social media users was a break in the midst of her slideshow that cut to video of her seem to leaning down for a drink in a silver dog bowl inside the garage

A close look suggests that the pop icon didn’t actually lick it, as she appears to stick her tongue out and merely get close to the bowl.

It seems to be a playful (and overly literal) response to the song that soundtracked her slide show, the 1969 proto-punk classic I Wanna Be Your Dog by The Stooges.

The song was ranked number 314 on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list as of 2021, and it has been covered by numerous artists.

Madonna even reused the song herself when she sampled it for her 2005 song I Love New York.

‘#Madonna shared another embarrassing & disturbing video on #Instagram where she licked water out of a dog bowl,’ complained one Twitter user. ‘On a scale of 1–10, with 10 being #Kanye, I’m pretty sure this has gotta be like an 8.’

Grossed out: One user complained that the video was ’embarrassing’ and ‘disgusting’

Others were angered by the artists seeming resistance to acting her age.

‘Grow up already!!!’ seethed one user. ‘Your to old to be licking a dog bowl..your not the material girl no more your like the stupid nut job girl [sic].’

‘I wouldn’t let my dog drink out of a bowl Madonna licked!’ joked another person.

One user compared Madonna to a dog and joked that she ‘humped a stranger’s leg.’

Another simply wondered, ‘Why is Madonna licking a dog bowl?’

What gives? Another simply wondered, ‘Why is Madonna licking a dog bowl?’

Get it? One user joked that Madonna’s video simply went over the naysayers’ heads. They saved a final barb for the conclusion: ‘The coyote ugliness of the artist symbolizes … ugly’

One user joked that Madonna’s video simply went over the naysayers’ heads.

‘You’re just not “sophisticated” enough to understand Madonna’s art,’ they tweeted. ‘The water in the dog bowl symbolizes the inadequate spiritual nourishment of capitalism; the dog bowl symbolizes the degradation of servitude and slavery.

They saved a final barb for the conclusion: ‘The coyote ugliness of the artist symbolizes … ugly.’

Although the dog bowl segment of the slideshow seemed to draw the most attention, Madonna also posted a risqué photo of herself crouched down suggestively over a bottle of sriracha hot sauce as she leaned against a shelf full of condiments.

The online attacks came after 50 Cent reignited his feud with the Into The Groove by branding her a ‘grandma’ and slamming her over her recent bizarre lip syncing video.

The In Da Club rapper, 47, who was locked in a war of words with the songstress after he mocked a sexy selfie of her in 2021, took to Instagram to criticize another recent video, in which she angrily lip synced along to the track Vent by Baby Keem.

50 — real name Curtis James Jackson III — reposted an image of an article discussing Madonna’s video and wrote: ‘I told y’all grandma was on bulls**! like a virgin at 64. LOL,’ before hashtagging his own alcohol brands.

Madonna has not yet responded to the star’s post.

This comes after the Like A Prayer hitmaker caused a stir last week with her video, which saw her mouth lyrics including: ‘Have you ever been punched in your motherf**king face? What you say, oh you haven’t? Alright, wait!’

She put on a busty display in a a sheer black top worn beneath a lace corset.

She posted a far more risque video to her TikTok, where she danced around in her lace bra, high-waist underwear, and twerked for the camera.

Back in December last year Madonna took to Instagram to fire back on 50 Cent after he mocked a sexy selfie she posted.

Madonna shared a 2003 photo of herself affectionately posing alongside the rap artist calling him out for phoniness.

‘Here is 50 Cent pretending to be my friend,’ the Material Girl wrote in text overlapping the image. ‘Now you have decided to talk smack about me!

The Papa Don’t Preach artist called out the rap artist for his tendency to attack others via social media.

Wow: Madonna let out her frustrations in the bizarre video posted to her Instagram account on Thursday

Shake it! The Queen Of Pop twerked for the camera in her underwear and fishnet stockings

‘I guess your new career [is] getting attention by trying to humiliate others on social media [the] least elevated choice you could make as [an] artist and an adult,’ she said. ‘You’re just jealous she won’t look as good as me or have as much fun when you’re my age!’

Madonna added, ‘Too bad there are no sour grapes [emojis].’

Madonna also posted a clip in which she was using a Yoda filter, sharing a message of self-confidence with her 17.1 million followers.

‘Cheer up, things could be worse, you could be me for instance,’ she said. ‘Personally, I like the way I look, but there are those that find it hard to appreciate people and things that are different. And they try to shame me or humiliate me or make me feel less than because I am not like everyone else.

‘But in fact, I cherish my uniqueness and I’ve grown stronger because to be unique is to be rare.’

50 Cent reposted a racy shot  of Madonna likening her to the Wicked Witch of the East from The Wizard of Oz, photoshopping her legs and backside under a house in a frame from the 1939 classic

The Like A Virgin singer made headlines after she posted a series of racy shots donning black underwear with fishnet stockings and heels, with one shot showcasing her legs and rear end.

50 Cent subsequently reposted the latter shot with harsh words toward Madonna, citing her age and the nature of her posts.

‘Yo this is the funniest s***!’ the If I Can’t rapper wrote. ‘LOL That’s Madonna under the bed trying to do like a virgin at 63. [She] shot out, if she don’t get her old a** up. LMFAO.’

50 Cent last week also reposted the shot likening Madonna to the Wicked Witch of the East from The Wizard of Oz, photoshopping her legs and backside under a house in a frame from the 1939 classic.

‘STARZ ask me to do a remake, I said only if Madonna is gonna play the role because i need star power and sex appeal in this one,’ he wrote.’

Over-65s who had Covid are 80 per cent more likely to develop Alzheimer’s, study reveals

Over-65s who have had Covid are 80 per cent more likely to develop Alzheimer’s within a year of being infected, a new study reveals.

Those that fall within this age bracket were found to be 50 to 80 per cent more at risk of developing the form of dementia than those who have not had the virus.

The findings show that the risk of Alzheimer’s disease nearly doubled from 0.35 per cent to 0.68 per cent in older people in the year following their diagnosis.

The reseachers are still unclear whether coronavirus triggers new development of Alzheimer’s disease or accelerates its emergence.

The research team analysed the anonymous health records of 6.2 million adults aged 65 and older in the United States who received medical treatment between February 2020 and May 2021.

The records of those they examined had no prior diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.

The researchers split the people into two groups. Those who had previously contracted Covid were placed in one group, while those who had no documented cases of the virus were separated into another.

There were more than 400,000 people in the group who had had Covid and 5.8 million in the other.

Dr Pamela Davis, a research professor at the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, and co-author of the study, said: “The factors that play into the development of Alzheimer’s disease have been poorly understood, but two pieces considered important are prior infections, especially viral infections, and inflammation.

“Since infection with Sars-CoV2 has been associated with central nervous system abnormalities including inflammation, we wanted to test whether, even in the short term, Covid could lead to increased diagnoses.”

Dr Davis added: “If this increase in new diagnoses of Alzheimer’s disease is sustained, the wave of patients with a disease currently without a cure will be substantial, and could further strain our long-term care resources.

“Alzheimer’s disease is a serious and challenging disease, and we thought we had turned some of the tide on it by reducing general risk factors such as hypertension, heart disease, obesity and a sedentary lifestyle.

“Now, so many people in the US have had Covid and the long-term consequences of Covid are still emerging. It is important to continue to monitor the impact of this disease on future disability.”

The team plans to continue studying the effects of Covid on Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders.

They aim to also focus on people who may be more vulnerable and find ways to repurpose FDA-approved drugs to treat Covid’s long-term effects.

The results were published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease.

50 Cent Sues Plastic Surgeon For Alleging He Had Penis Surgery

The Power creator is suing Angela Kogan and both her businesses for using his likeness to sell products.

50 Cent does not play about his image or his money. His 2019 lawsuit against Teairra Mari proved that he’d get his money by any means necessary.

On Friday (September 16), the Power creator defended himself against another false claim, which also lead to him suing a woman. According to reports, 50 is suing plastic surgeon Angela Kogan and her businesses, Perfection Plastic Surgery and MedSpa, for continuously posting an old photo of them together, leading people to believe that he went under the knife for penis enhancement surgery.

50 states in the lawsuit that he took the photo with Kogan in February 2020 because he thought she was a fan. However, her and her team used the pic to promote their penis enhancement services, much to 50’s dismay. The Queens rapper says it wasn’t a huge deal to him, until The Shade Room did a story with the business owner, and used said photo in the article. 50 denies ever going under the knife and wants Kogan’s team to stop sharing the photo. In the suit, he claims the pic is “exposing him to ridicule, damaging his professional and personal reputation and violating his right to control his name and image.”

50’s lawsuit comes on the heels of Nicki Minaj suing a blogger who allegedly claimed the “Super Freaky Girl” rapper was addicted to cocaine. Celebs suing folks for false accusations is nothing new. Earlier this year, Cardi B won a $1.25 million settlement in her defamation lawsuit against Youtube blogger Tasha K, who accused the Bronx rapper of having an STD. Last week, Cardi made it known that she still hasn’t been paid by the Youtuber. “SEND MY CHECK,” the “Hot Sh*t” star shared on Instagram.

50 Cent Reportedly Sues Medspa for Implying He Had Penis Enhancement

50 Cent is attempting to squash penile enhancement rumors.

According to TMZ, the 47-year-old hip-hop mogul has filed a right-of-publicity lawsuit against plastic surgeon Angela Kogan and her company, Perfection Plastic Surgery & MedSpa. The complaint stems from a photo taken of Fif and the doctor during his 2020 trip to Miami. TMZ reports 50 agreed to take the picture because he believed Kogan was a fan; however, she and her company have continued to use the image to promote its products and services.

Fast-forward to August 2022, when the Shade Room published an article about the growing popularity of Brazilian butt lifts as well as penis enhancements. The piece, which included the aforementioned photo, centered on Kogan’s medspa and listed Fif among its celebrity clientele, along with Teyana Taylor, Odell Beckham, and more.

The lawsuit alleges Kogan used the photo to promote her business without authorization, and falsely implied he underwent penis enlargement surgery. 50 maintains he never had the procedure, or any kind of surgery, at Kogan’s medspa. He argues the defendants use of the photo has subjected him to “ridicule” and damaged both his professional and personal reputation. 50 is demanding the company stop using the picture and is seeking unspecified damages.

Stay tuned as more information about the case becomes available.

Type-2 Diabetes signs: Scientists pinpoint common vegetable that can lower high blood sugar levels by 50 per cent

One in 10 people over the age of 40 in the UK are now living with Type 2 diabetes, which is a condtion that causes too much sugar in your blood. However, there is one common vegetable that can lower blood sugar levels by 50 per cent – and could see “potential use” in treating patients with diabetes.

People with Type 2 diabetes are not able to produce sufficient insulin from their pancreas to regulate blood sugar, which means that their blood sugar can reach dangerously high levels.

However, findings from 2015, presented at The Endocrine Society’s 97th annual meeting in San Diego, revealed that the extract of an onion bulb can “strongly lower” high blood sugar and total cholesterol levels when given alongside antidiabetic drug metformin.

Lead study author Anthony Ojieh of Delta State University in Abraka, Nigeria, said at the time: “Onion is cheap and available and has been used as a nutritional supplement. It has the potential for use in treating patients with diabetes.”

The researchers tested the theory on rats. In total, three groups of rats with medically induced diabetes were given various doses of the onion extract to see if it would enhance the drug’s effect.

The doses were 200mg, 400mg, and 600mg per kilogram of body weight. The researchers also gave the drug and onion to three groups of nondiabetic rats with normal blood sugar.

The study found that, of the diabetic rats, those given 400mg and 600mg per kilogram of body weight “strongly reduced” their blood sugar levels by 50 per cent and 35 per cent respectively compared with a baseline level.

The onion extract also lowered the total cholesterol level in diabetic rats, with the 400mg and 600mg having the greatest effects.

The study also found that the onion extract led to weight gain among the nondiabetic rats, but not the diabetic rats.

“Onion is not high in calories,” Ojieh explained. “However, it seems to increase the metabolic rate and, with that, to increase the appetite, leading to an increase in feeding.

“We need to investigate the mechanism by which onion brought about the blood glucose reduction. We do not yet have an explanation.”

This article was amended on 5 September 2022 to reflect that this study was published in 2015. It originally said that the findings had been presented to a meeting in 2022.
