Britney Spears ‘annoyed’ after wellness check over deleted Instagram: report

Britney Spears was reportedly left “annoyed” that a cop was forced to perform a wellness check on her after worried fans dialed 911.

The “Toxic” singer sparked concern Wednesday after she deactivated her Instagram account without warning — prompting diehard fans to call the police.

Sources told TMZ that the singer was vexed at the unexpected visit, dubbing it an “inconvenience.”

“I can confirm that we did get calls into our dispatch, and essentially, I can confirm that we don’t believe that Britney Spears is in any kind of harm or any kind of danger,” a spokesperson for the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Page Six on Wednesday.

It’s not known how many calls officers received relating to the singer, 41.

The spokesperson added that officers “don’t believe that Britney Spears is in any kind of harm or danger at this point.”

Some worried fans rushed to TikTok this week to share their concerns over the singer’s well-being, with one fan going as far as live streaming his call to the police.

“I was calling because I am worried about the physical safety of a resident in your area,” one of the callers, who identified herself as “Christina,” can be heard saying in the now-deleted video.

When asked for a reason behind the request, the fan can be heard telling the officer that “there’s been suspicious activity online and now her account has been deleted.”

Diehard fans dialed 911 and asked police to visit the singer to make sure she was well.

It’s far from the first time Spears has deleted her Instagram in recent years.

A source previously told Page Six exclusively that the mom of two likes to take breaks from social media platforms every so often.

Just days before deleting her Instagram account this week, the “Gimme More” hitmaker shared a lengthy post highlighting some unpleasant challenges.

After some fans speculated that her recent quarrel with husband Sam Asghari was the reason behind her recent posts, he was quick to shut down the speculation.

“Sucks to be me,” she wrote, in part, before adding, “Giving someone I love my everything only gives me the dagger in my heart !!!”

While the reason for the cryptic caption remains unclear, some fans speculated that it could be about her recent quarrel with her husband Sam Asghari after he walked out on the “Piece of Me” singer during a meal as fans were invading their privacy.

However, Asghari was quick to put an end to the rumbles, Writing on his Instagram Story, “Don’t believe what you read online people.”

Page Six has reached out to Spears’ reps for comment.

Britney Spears not in danger, police say after wellness check calls

Britney Spears is not in any kind of danger, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Page Six on Wednesday after concerned fans asked the department for a wellness check.

“I can confirm that we did get calls into our dispatch, and essentially, I can confirm that we don’t believe that Britney Spears is in any kind of harm or any kind of danger,” a police spokesperson said.

The officer did not disclose just how many calls they received and said they would not reveal whether they made direct contact with Spears, 41, or how they knew she was fine.

The police spokesperson explained their reason for providing minimal details was due to the fact that any more transparency was a “public trust issue.”

“It’s just a privacy thing for the residents in our county,” the officer said. “It’s a public trust issue. We just don’t disclose those kinds of things [such as wellness checks]. It’s not a crime.”

“We don’t really talk about any kind of mental health issues or anything like that,” he added before reiterating, “I can’t confirm or deny that deputies went to her house, but we don’t believe that Britney Spears is in any kind of harm or danger at this point.”

Some of the worried fans who made the calls to police took to TikTok Tuesday to livestream the wellness check requests.

“I was calling because I am worried about the physical safety of a resident in your area,” one of the callers, who identified herself as “Christina,” can be heard saying in the clip.

When the officer asked why the fan wanted a wellness check, “Christina” responded, “There’s been suspicious activity online and now her account has been deleted.”

Spears has deleted her Instagram multiple times in recent years, and although the reason for her latest hiatus is unclear, a source previously told Page Six exclusively that the “Stronger” singer just likes to take social media breaks every now and then.

“She’s happy and in a great place,” the source said in September 2021, adding, “and silence can be a powerful thing and a powerful message.”

The insider also affirmed at the time, “This was her decision.”

Prior to Spears’ most recent Instagram shutdown, the “Hold Me Closer” singer posted a photo of a car and a lengthy caption, in which she spoke about a variety of things, but most notably wrote, “sucks to be me” and “Giving someone I love my everything only gives me the dagger in my heart !!!”

People speculated that perhaps this message was alluding to marital strife since a recent report claimed Spears’ husband, Sam Asghari, walked out on the “Piece of Me” singer while they were dining at a restaurant and fans were invading their privacy.

However, the “Family Business” actor quickly shut down those allegations, writing on his Instagram Stories, “Don’t believe what you read online people.”

Reps for Spears did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment on the wellness checks.

While many believed she was present at the star-studded bash in Santa Monica on Saturday, after her pal Paris Hilton posted a selfie with her and the birthday boy, the singer, 41, made it clear that image believed to be taken that night was ‘from years ago.’

‘I haven’t been to a bday party in forever!!!’ she captioned a video of herself dancing in a red  Coca-Cola crop top and matching miniskirt at home.

The skeptic’s comment continued: ‘How dare you participate in whatever is going on with Brit? This won’t end well for you! And if you delete my comment it’ll just solidify my thoughts about you.’

That fiery accusation spawned a contentious thread of replies, fueling speculation surrounding the image as more allegations of a photoshop fail sprang up throughout Hilton’s comments section.

Even though Hilton ‘didn’t want to dignify [the allegations] with a response,’ she eventually jumped into the hotbed of controversy with an explanation.

Paris Hilton slammed the “ridiculous” theories that she Photoshopped Britney Spears into pictures taken at a recent birthday party.

The “Stars are Blind” performer explained that the photos snapped at talent agent Cade Hudson’s bash, one of which included the “Toxic” singer, had been blurry, so she used an app to try to smooth them out, which altered their appearances.

“To all of those asking. Some of these photos were taken on an iPhone so they ended up being blurry,” Hilton explained in the comments section of her Instagram post Saturday. “So they used this app called Remini to make it look unblurry and sometimes the Ai distorts images.

“Didn’t want to even dignify this with a response,” she added. “But some of these conspiracy theories are absolutely ridiculous.”

Hilton, 41, doubled down on her statement in a separate comment after a follower pointed out that half of Spears’ necklace was missing.

“It’s really strange how half the necklace chains are missing in the photo with Britney. And what’s wrong with her fingers?” asked a follower.

Hilton and Spears have been friends for years, and the hotel heiress was even one of the lucky few to attend the pop star’s wedding to Sam Asghari in June 2022. Hilton later spilled that she turned down an opportunity to deejay for President Biden to attend the “Sometimes” performer’s nuptials.

“I was actually asked to DJ for the president and all of the other presidents around the world for the dinner, but this was more important to me,” Hilton shared on her “This Is Paris” podcast.

“And I’m not going to go into any details because it was the princess bride’s night and that’s her story to tell, but all I can say is that I’m so incredibly happy for her. She looked stunning and it just made me so happy to see that she found her fairytale.”

Sam Asghari is shutting down claims that he is now controlling his wife, Britney Spears, a year after her conservatorship ended.

When asked if he was “controlling Britney,” he told TMZ on Friday, “No, I don’t even control what we have for dinner.”

“You know, in the past, there has been a lot of stuff going on, so I understand where [fans are] coming from.”

“They’re just being protective. If anything, they’re being good fans,” the model, 28, added.

While Asghari said his wife, 41, is in control of her own life, several fans have shared interesting theories surrounding the “Gimme More” singer’s recent behavior online, sparking the #WhereIsBritney hashtag.

After Spears reactivated her account, several TikTokers speculated that a body double of the “Toxic” songstress was used in new posts from her and Asghari.

Fans also questioned her newer captions, which were extremely shorter than the lengthy ones she usually posts.

Earlier this month, Asghari defended his wife against criticism for sharing nude images on social media.

“The only person in the world that gets bullied for posting things like this,” he commented on Instagram at the time, while admitting how he really felt about the NSFW posts.

“I personally preferred she never posted these but who am I to control someone that’s been under a microscope and been controlled for most of her life,” the “Lioness” actor added.

Spears and Asghati tied the knot at the singer’s California home in June, eight months after her controversial conservatorship was terminated.

‘Not Controlling Britney Spears’: Sam Asghari Is Dispelling Fan Conspiracy Theories

That’s the message her husband Sam Asghari sent when TMZ caught up with him to ask about fan conspiracy theories that he is secretly controlling the pop superstar.

“No, man. I don’t even control what we have for dinner,” he told the tabloid.

Asghari was also asked what he thinks of fan conspiracy theories claiming that he is the one running her social media accounts and more.

“In the past, it has been a lot of stuff going on. So, I understand where they’re coming from,” he said. “They’re just being protective. If anything, they’re being good fans.”

Britney Spears Is Apparently Alive and Thriving in Mexico

Hit me (with a series of strange shower videos) baby, (at least) one more time! Because Britney Spears appears to be alive, says TMZ, and back to filming half-nude erotica for the public again. All is right in the world.

Britney Spears’ fans—the ones who, like, #Freed Britney, but also the ones who were somehow surprised about the continued erratic nature of her videos post-conservatorship—have switched up their signature chant to #WhereIsBritney. Convinced that she might never have returned from her honeymoon and that husband Sam Asghari might be running her Instagram account, they became even more spooked when Spears posted a video on a private jet last week claiming to head to New York City. If she was really there, they claimed, paparazzi would’ve captured a shot of her, but alas, no Brit in NYC.

Loathed celeb gossipmonger Perez Hilton added fuel to the fire of speculation by claiming he has some inside info on Britney, and something very bad is going on. “Concern is warranted,” he warned.

Have no fear, Britney stans, TMZ—most trusted authority on all life or death matters—is here! The outlet learned Tuesday night that “Britney Spears isn’t missing, in trouble or dead as growing fan theories might suggest — in fact, it’s quite the opposite.”

Sources apparently close to the singer told TMZ Spears said she was going to NYC to “throw people off” and that she and Asghari were actually headed to a vacation in Mexico where they had hoped to enjoy some peace and quiet. The sources also claim the shower footage she posted was indeed shot in Mexico and is new content. Spears wouldn’t dare deny the age-old influencer proverb: Always Be Posting. In one post, Brit said she “changed my name to Brooklyn,” while in another she appeared to broker a peace treaty with her mom, Lynne Spears, after telling her to “burn in hell” in October.

“Instagram doesn’t like posts of people revealing their bodies anymore so here’s a selfie of me in Mexico 🇲🇽 !!! Mom and Dad … I crossed the border and I made it !!! After no coffee for 15 years ☕️ … Mom we can go have coffee together now !!! I’m treated as an equal … let’s have coffee and talk about it !!!”

Fans had also been spooked by the eerily timed travels of Spears’ parents who both touched down in Los Angeles last week, prompting concerns over whether something ominous had happened to Britney. But TMZ say Lynne and Jamie Spears—you know, the one who kept his daughter in a conservatorship for 13 years against her will—were in town to see Britney’s niece, the daughter of Brit’s brother Bryan, perform in The Nutcracker. As for Brit’s fans, the intention is always good, but the conspiracy theories, at least this time, are best kept to the annals of TikTok.

At least for now, rest somewhat assured that Sam isn’t on vacation with a body double (how boring!), and long live Britney.

Britney Spears films kooky video in private plane as she jets to NYC with husband Sam Asghari

Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari are headed for the Big Apple. 

The Gimme More hitmaker, 41, took to her Instagram on Monday to share a clip of herself on a private jet as she showed off her trim abs in a white crop top and plaid mini skirt while dancing and goofing off next to the Iranian model, 28.

‘New York City here I come !!! How about them apples,’ the superstar captioned the video, which comes after Sam denied speculation that Britney’s social media is being controlled. 

New York bound! Britney Spears shared that she and husband Sam Asghari are headed for the Big Apple via her Instagram on Monday, writing ‘New York City here I come!’ 

The clip started out with the Princess of Pop doing her signature side-to-side sway as she showed off her sultry look to the camera.

The Toxic singer wore her platinum blonde tresses parted to the side and lightly curled.  

She also drew attention to her eyes with heavy black eyeliner.

Abs: The superstar showed off her trim abs in a white long-sleeve crop top and plaid grey mini skirt

The next scene in the clip showed her in a closer view, rocking black aviator glasses.

The video then jumped around between clips, showing Britney throwing herself on the bed in red boots, before going back to showing off her outfit yet again.

Another scene saw Britney and Sam at the entrance of the plane posing together, with the blonde star wearing a white coat.

However, some of her fans were less than thrilled, after recent speculation that Spears’ accounts are being controlled again.

‘This is the worst green screen I’ve ever seen,’ one wrote, suggesting that the clip was not filmed on a plane.

Another person wrote: ‘Yeah, whoever’s posting from Britney’s account: you’re not fooling anyone.’

On Friday Britney shocked fans while writhing around on the floor to Santa Baby in a red jumpsuit and smothering cake on herself. 

It comes after earlier this week her husband Sam shed light on her decision to step back from Instagram amid speculation that her accounts are being controlled again.

On Wednesday evening, Sam requested that fans of his spouse respect her privacy, at this time, on his Instagram Story.

‘Social media can be traumatizing. Sometimes it’s good to take a break. She has her voice and is a free woman. I have respect for her privacy and I protect it at all times,’ he wrote.

‘For my job I have to attend many events. It would be my honour if she joins. For her those things are not fun. They’re hictic [sic] and full of stress,’ he said of why they don’t typically attend red carpets together.

Asghari added: ‘Specially, since she’s been doing these things since 8 years old. Plus she already slayed every single one she has been to.’

Fans voiced worry after she could be heard telling him: ‘I don’t wanna jump in, I have nothing to say. I don’t wanna talk to them right now.’

Spears, who has since returned to Instagram, has previously deleted her account for the sixth time (the third time in the past four months.)
