UFC 269 weigh-in results: Charles Oliveira, Amanda Nunes, challengers on weight for title fights, one bout cancelled

The stars of UFC 269 are primed to compete.

Lightweight headliners Charles Oliveira (155) and Dustin Poirier (154.5), and co-main event bantamweights Amanda Nunes (134.5) and Julianna Pena (135) were the first four fighters to hit the scale at the official weigh-ins for Saturday’s UFC 269 event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. All four successfully made weight to make their championship bouts official.

Also of note, former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt hit 126 on the scales for his flyweight debut against Kai Kara-France.

The weigh-ins did not go off without a hitch, as preliminary opener Priscila Cachoeira came in at 129 pounds for her flyweight bout against Gillian Robertson, three pounds over the limit. Cachoeira forfeited 30 percent of her purse as penalty and the bout will proceed as a catchweight fight.

Flyweight Alex Perez also came in a quarter-pound heavy for his bout with Matt Schnell, but that miss became a non-issue when officials announced shortly after that the bout was cancelled due to Schnell experiencing medical issues.
