Projecting AP Top 25 rankings entering Week 11

LSU took out Alabama in overtime on a two-point conversion to shake up the College Football Playoff race while Georgia cruised in arguably its biggest home game in program history, knocking off top-ranked Tennessee to highlight Saturday’s top 25 action. Along with Clemson’s loss at Notre Dame, there is definite movement coming in Sunday’s Week 11 AP rankings and the subsequent playoff poll this week and our latest projections reflect how we think analysts will vote.

TCU continued its unbeaten streak with a comeback win over Texas Tech, while Oregon won its eighth-straight game. Hugh Freeze and Liberty upset Arkansas in a game that will have national ranking implications.

The Flames were ranked No. 23 in the country heading into the weekend and could crack the top 20 after their 21-19 victory. Attention after the game surrounded Freeze and the Auburn coaching vacancy, tying the two together after the former Ole Miss coach improved to 8-1 this season. It was Liberty’s first win in program history over a school from the SEC.
