Dolphins vs. Bills score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, results; Tua Tagovailoa back from head injury

We’ve got a marquee matchup underway in Miami between two undefeated teams. Unfortunately, the big story of the first half was the head injury to Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who exited the game after getting hit by Bills quarterback Matt Milano with just over two minutes left in the first half. He was able to return for the second half.

The teams played to a 14-14 tie after one half. It was a big first half for Bills quarterback Josh Allen. He went a perfect 6 of 6 on Buffalo’s first drive that included his two-yard touchdown pass to Devin Singletary on fourth-and-goal. Allen’s second touchdown pass of the half, an eight-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah McKenzie, gave Buffalo a 14-7 lead three minutes into the second quarter.

Miami’s defense set up the Dolphins’ first score when Melvin Ingram scooped up Javon Holland’s strip-sack of Allen. Chase Edmunds tied the score with a one-yard touchdown run four plays later. Miami drove 83 yards on nine plays on its ensuing drive that was punctuated by Tagovailoa’s 11-yard, game-tying strike to River Cracraft. Tagovailoa sustained his possible injury on Miami’s next possession, as he was pushed backward and appeared to hit the back of his head on the turf.
