College football scores, schedule, NCAA top 25 rankings, games today: Oregon, Florida live in action

Week 5 of the college football season brings one of the most packed slates of quality action yet as all 25 ranked teams will be in action during the weekend. No. 5 Iowa and No. 13 BYU played Friday, but that still leaves 23 ranked teams to watch on Saturday as conference championship races begin to take shape and the convoluted national title picture comes further into focus.

Early highlights of the day included No. 7 Cincinnati getting a statement win over No. 9 Notre Dame in South Bend and No. 2 Georgia shutting out No. 8 Arkansas. In the afternoon, No. 1 Alabama took down No. 12 Ole Miss in the SEC on CBS Game of the Week. But that’s just the beginning, as the early window of games also featured No. 14 Michigan and No. 24 Wake Forest putting their unbeaten records on the line against conference foes. In the afternoon, No. 11 Ohio State, No. 6 Oklahoma and No. 2 Oregon will all hit the road to play challenging league foes. Finally, the evening window brings No. 10 Florida’s SEC East showdown with unbeaten Kentucky, a revenge game for No. 4 Penn State against Indiana and much more.

CBS Sports will be here every step of the way to update you with the latest scores, highlights and storylines throughout the night. All times Eastern
