Chargers vs. Raiders score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, analysis for Week 1 AFC West showdown

The Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers are duking it out in Week 1, but it’s the Chargers who have been in control early on as Justin Herbert and Co. hold a 17-3 lead at halftime.

Herbert has been nearly perfect, and he quickly built a rapport with recent free agent DeAndre Carter — who caught three passes for 64 yards and one touchdown in the first half. Keenan Allen exited with a hamstring injury, and is questionable to return.

On the other side of the ball, the Chargers’ new-look pass rush has been flexing its muscles, as Khalil Mack recorded two sacks and three tackles for a loss in the first two quarters. Derek Carr has been relying on Davante Adams early and often, but Las Vegas mustered just one successful drive in the first half.

Every AFC West divisional matchup matters in a big way this season — even in Week 1. Follow along in the live blog below as we will provide highlights, live commentary and analysis throughout the afternoon.
