Braves vs. Dodgers score: Live updates from NLCS Game 6 as Eddie Rosario’s homer gives Atlanta the lead

Thanks to Chris Taylor’s historic three-homer game in Game 5, the Los Angeles Dodgers are alive in the National League Championship Series. The Atlanta Braves still have a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series, and a win in Saturday’s Game 6 would clinch their first pennant since 1999. The winner of this series will face the Houston Astros in the World Series. Here’s how you can watch.

Max Scherzer was scratched from his scheduled Game 6 start — he admitted his “arm was dead” following his Game 2 start — and the Dodgers instead went with Walker Buehler on short rest. Buehler pitched well on short rest in Game 4 of the NLDS, though Atlanta roughed him up in Game 3 of the NLCS. He made that start with two extra days of rest. Righty Ian Anderson is on the mound for the Braves, who jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning on Austin Riley’s double. Cody Bellinger tied the game for L.A. in the fourth inning, as his two-out RBI single beat the shift. Eddie Rosario, who’s likely to win NLCS MVP honors if the Braves close things out in Game 6, then crushed a three-run homer with two outs in the fourth inning off Buehler to give Atlanta a 4-1 lead.

The Dodgers cut the lead to 4-2 on AJ Pollock’s RBI double in the seventh inning, but Braves reliever Tyler Matzek worked his way out of a jam with three straight strikeouts to keep the lead intact.
