One more person dies from COVID in BVI! Active cases climb to 150

The BVI has recorded one new death as a result of the COVID-19 virus.

Health Minister Carvin Malone made the announcement moments ago on ZBVI radio.

This brings the total number of COVID-related deaths recorded in the BVI to two persons.

Malone said one of the BVI’s ‘golden gems’ is the newest casualty of the virus.

According to the Health Minister, an additional 59 persons have tested positive for the virus since Thursday’s update. This brings the total of COVID-19 positive cases to 150 persons in the BVI.

A total of 684 tests were conducted since the Minister’s last update yesterday.
