Rapper 21 Savage hands out gifts to families in Georgia as part of his annual Grant-A-Wish event

21 Savage served up some holiday cheer on Wednesday during his Leading By Example Foundation’s fourth annual Grant-A-Wish event in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

The rapper, 30 – who recently released a joint album with Drake – handed out gifts and snacks to 100 local parents and their children at the Wade Walker Family YMCA, according to TMZ.

During the event, Georgia state representative Billy Mitchell officially declared December 21 as ’21 Savage Day.’

The day is in honor of the hitmaker’s community support, such as his Bank Account Campaign which provides ‘financial literacy education to underserved youth.’

Along with free finance courses, the non-profit also ‘provides scholarships, access to bank accounts and job placement for teens and students alike.’ 

The Leading By Example Foundation was launched in 2018.

Last year, 21 Savage (born Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph) partnered with the financial technology firm Chime to hand out 100 $1,000 scholarships to high school students who completed Bank Account at Home’s six-course online program.

Bank Account at Home is the virtual equivalent of the rapper’s Bank Account Campaign which was created months into the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

On Wednesday, 21 Savage looked overjoyed to be giving back to his community for the fourth year in a row.

The hitmaker rolled up to the charity event in a distressed denim-on-denim look consisting of a jacket and pants.

He layered his outerwear over a plain white tee and slipped his feet into a pair of white sneakers.

Before heading inside the gymnasium, 21 Savage posed in front of the Grant-A-Wish photo op.

Along with giving back to the community, 21 Savage also treated his fans to new music in October.

He released a collaborative album with rapper Drake, titled Her Loss, on October 28.

Drake and 21, born Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, have worked together on a number of songs in the past including Knife Talk, Mr. Right Now and many more. 

The title of their most recent collaboration was a nod to Drake’s Degrassi: The Next Generation character Jimmy Brooks.
