Police investigate death of woman at Faster Horses music festival

The Michigan State Police are investigating the death of a 30-year-old woman at the Faster Horses music festival in Lenawee County. 

MSP tweeted the incident, saying the special investigation section will be conducting the investigation.  

The woman, who remains unidentified, was found at about 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. The cause of death is still unknown, according to an MSP tweet.  

Police said the woman is from Croswell, which is in the southern part of Michigan’s Thumb, near Lake Huron.

Faster Horses, the biggest summer music festival in the state, is a three-day event that takes place in Brooklyn, Michigan. Traditionally, about 40,000 people attend the festival.
