Oklahoma native Ree Drummond, known to many as “The Pioneer Woman,” gave an update Thursday regarding her two family members who were injured in a crash.According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the crash involving two fire trucks was reported Wednesday afternoon near the Drummond Family Ranch in Osage County. OHP officials said 21-year-old Caleb Drummond and Ladd Drummond crashed fire trucks they were driving head-on while on County Road N3660 near Pawhuska. Caleb Drummond was ejected from the vehicle “about 70 feet from the point of rest” and was taken to a Tulsa-area hospital in critical condition.The report states Ladd Drummond refused treatment at the scene. Tulsa news station FOX 23, reported that Ladd Drummond was later life-flighted by helicopter. Caleb Drummond is the nephew of Ree Drummond, aka the “Pioneer Woman.” Ladd Drummond is her husband.Ree Drummond shared an update Thursday morning, thanking people for their prayers for the family.”Caleb and Ladd are in the hospital, but we think they will both be okay. As a family we are giving thanks today, knowing things could have been much worse. Thank you all for your love and kindness.
