How to Watch Knives Out (and Its Sequel, Glass Onion)

It seems like just yesterday murder mystery Knives Out made its debut as the tongue-in-cheek whodunit of the 21st century. We called it “…an exhilarating mix of comedy and thriller, as well as a deeply satisfying murder-mystery” in our Knives Out review. It was a huge success for Lionsgate, earning nearly $300 million at the worldwide box office. After its release in November 2019, we have been anticipating the sequel’s release from director-writer, Rian Johnson. Now, three years later, it’s finally time to crack the next case!

If you loved Daniel Craig as Detective Benoit Blanc, you can look forward to seeing him in action again (and hearing that southern drawl we all enjoyed very much). This time, you can find him at a getaway murder mystery party hosted by billionaire Miles Bron on a private Greek island called Glass Onion, of course. He’ll be joined by an exciting cast of quirky characters, including fresh faces like Janelle Monáe and Ethan Hawke, (see main cast list below), where we expect another rich ride of comical interrogations, dark twists and adventure.

If you’re wondering how to watch (or rewatch) Knives Out ahead of the sequel, or you’re here to double check the streaming plans for Glass Onion, here’s everything you need to know!

Is Knives Out On Netflix? Where Can I Stream It?

Sadly, no. Although Knives Out is still not on Netflix at this time—despite the sequel coming to Netflix on December 23—the good news is that it’s available to rent or buy on most platforms.
