Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa announced that Flip or Flop was coming to an end after 10 years. The HGTV show was wrapping up with season 10 and the former couple would not be starring on the show that made them famous. Many have questioned why the show was ending and were reminded about an alleged incident between Haack and El Moussa during the filming of the last season.
What happened between Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack?
Back in July 2021, there was a report by TMZ that alleged that El Moussa verbally assaulted Haack during the filming of Flip or Flop. El Moussa reportedly “lost his cool and went on a verbal tirade” against his ex-wife and even said his current partner was “hotter and richer” than her.
“Look at me, look at me, look at me. It’s called winning,” the source claimed El Moussa said.
The insider also said the house flipper claimed to have “made” his ex-wife and reportedly called her a “washed-up loser.”
Following the incident, another insider told People that El Moussa was “remorseful” about what happened and after the story had leaked to the press.
“They did get into a disagreement. Tarek lashed out and he’s super remorseful,” the tipster said. “They’re exes who share a history and children and a workplace, but outside of co-parenting, they’re not friends.”
The former couple continued to film season 10 which premiered in the latter part of 2021. Having El Moussa and Haack on the screen again made some fans happy again as the stars have amazing chemistry on screen.
