Dozens of flights canceled at Charlotte Douglas International Airport – WSOC TV

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Channel 9 has learned dozens of flights have been canceled at Charlotte Douglas International Airport Friday night.

Reporter Joe Bruno is at the airport and spoke to several people who are upset about the cancellations. He said most of the canceled flights are for American Airlines.

Between Friday night and Saturday morning, Bruno said at least 18 arrivals and 11 departures have been canceled.

We have reached out to airport officials for more information on why flights are being canceled, but we have not heard back at this point.
