A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a vehicle Friday night. Emergency Dispatch Services said the call to the scene came in around 7:40 p.m. to the intersection of Airport and Whitmer roads in Southhampton Township. The coroner was called to the scene. No one else was hurt and the driver stayed on the scene.
