Releases November 30 for Season Pass holders
Fans pretty much knew they’d likely be receiving a new Guilty Gear Strive DLC character this month, but the reveal came a bit sooner than most suspected.
During the top 8 portion of Red Bull Kumite’s Strive event today, Arc System Works announced Happy Chaos will be the third additional fighter joining the roster along with his release date.
As we saw in Strive’s Story Mode, Happy Chaos wields a magically-infused handgun that looks like it’ll bring in some interesting new mechanics to the game — and he can also pull out a second when the situation calls for it.
A reticle appears throughout his gameplay that tracks the opponent, which implies Happy Chaos may be able to blast the enemy no matter where they are on screen as long as he’s locked on.
The magical being’s trickster persona also comes out to play, as he can place doppelgangers in front of him for the opponent to hit.
Season Pass 1 owners can start rocking out with the Strive boss on Tuesday, November 30, with his full release date coming a few days later on December 3.
