Here is the game’s story synopsis:

Several years have passed since a mysterious epidemic suddenly plagued the continent. Victims of the plague became animated corpses—zombies—who attacked people, and the mercenaries who fight for a living spent their days doing the dirty work of exterminating them.

One day, Silver Wolf Company leader Johan encounters a man who calls himself the Grim Reaper. While Johan narrowly escaped the Grim Reaper’s blade, he was left with an ominous prophecy—“After 100 days, when the omen is at its strongest, an inescapable death will arrive.”

After driving away the Grim Reaper, a young maiden appeared before Johan. The maiden was said to be able to use miraculous arts to heal those who have fallen victim to the plague. Was the Grim Reaper just a nightmare that Johan saw after falling to the plague…?

Johan’s encounter with the maiden showed him the light. And so Johan and his companions become the maiden’s convoy and travel around the kingdom—one plagued by an epidemic—to confront its deadly fate…

[VIDEO] ‘Wolf Pack’ Release Date, Teaser Trailer For Paramount+ Series

The next generation of teen wolves is making tracks for Paramount+.

Wolf Pack, a new series written and executive-produced by Jeff Davis (Teen Wolf) will become available to Paramount+ subscribers on Thursday, Jan. 26 — the same day as Teen Wolf: The Movie. The news was announced Friday during the show’s panel at New York Comic Con.

Based on Edo Van Belkom’s book series, Wolf Pack “follows a teenage boy and girl whose lives are forever changed when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature,” per the official logline. “Wounded in the chaos of its attack, the teens are inexplicably drawn to each other and to two others who were adopted sixteen years earlier by a park ranger after another mysterious wildfire. As the full moon rises, all four teens come together to unravel the secret that connects them — the bite and blood of a werewolf.”

Wolf Pack stars Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as arson investigator Kristin Ramsey, described as a “highly regarded expert in her field and no stranger to personal loss, brought in by authorities to catch the teenage arsonist who started a massive wildfire which may have also led to the reawakening of a supernatural predator terrorizing Los Angeles.”

Another familiar face will be that of Rodrigo Santoro (Lost) as Garrett Briggs, a Los Angeles park ranger “dedicated to protecting the environment, and adoptive father to the remarkable teenagers. A man of strong values, he is also someone with dark secrets and deep suspicions, especially towards anyone questioning the relationship with his children who were found in the wildfire years earlier.”

The four aforementioned teens are Armani Jackson (Chad) as Everett, Bella Shepard (The Wilds) as Blake, Chloe Rose Robertson as Luna, and Tyler Lawrence Gray as Harlan.

As revealed during the panel, the following actors are also joining in recurring roles: Bailey Stender (iCarly), Chase Liefeld (Chang Can Dunk), Hollie Bahar (Westworld), Lanny Joon (Baby Driver), Rio Mangini (Everything Sucks), Stella Smith (Stargirl), Zack Nelson (Loot) and James Martinez (Love, Victor). Other guest stars will include Amy Pietz (Caroline in the City), Bria Brimmer (Doom Patrol), John L. Adams (The Dead Zone) and Sean Philip Glasgow (Diary of a Future President).

In addition to Davis, Wolf Pack is executive-produced by Jason Ensler, and Joe Genier and Mike Elliott for Capital Arts.

Kylie Jenner talks postpartum recovery after baby Wolf

The makeup mogul told fans that the past weeks have “not been easy,” while she was pictured exercising.

She captioned an Instagram story, “6 weeks postpartum,” telling fans, “This experience for me personally has been a little harder than with my daughter. Jenner also has a daughter, Stormi, 4.

Jenner continued, “It’s not easy mentally, physically, spiritually, it’s just crazy. And yeah, I didn’t just want to get back to life without saying that because I think we can look on the internet — for other moms going through it right now — we can go on the internet, and it might look a lot easier for other people, and put the pressure on us, but it hasn’t been easy for me.”

Working out has helped her mentally, she added, admitting that it’s been hard to commit to an exercise routine. “But I’m here, and I’m feeling better. So you got this,” she added.

“It’s ok not to be ok. Once I realized that I was putting some pressure on myself. And I just keep reminding myself I made a whole human, a beautiful healthy boy,” she told fans. “We have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be ‘back,'” she said. “Not even physically, just mentally, after birth. So yeah, just sending some love. I love you guys!”

Jenner shares Stormi and Wolf with Travis Scott.

Full ‘wolf’ moon lights up the sky tonight

Despite the fictional tale, it hasn’t stopped people from connecting the moon with the furry animals.

The first full moon of the year is known as the wolf moon, and will appear the evening of Monday, January 17.

It will peak at 6:51 p.m. ET or 11:51 p.m. GMT. To catch a glimpse of the moon, look above the horizon in the east-northeastern direction, according to NASA.

Some moon gazers may spot a bright star near the full moon. It’s Pollux, a star that’s part of the Gemini constellation, NASA said.

Both Jupiter and Saturn will also be visible, NASA noted, but they’ll be opposite the moon above the southwestern horizon.

More than a wolf moon

There is a cornucopia of names for the January full moon besides the wolf moon, including the Old Moon and Ice Moon.

Hindus refer to it as Shakambhari Purnima, which marks the last day of Shakambari Navratri, an eight-day holiday honoring the goddess Shakambhari. People in India often bathe in holy waters during this time, NASA said.

Assiniboine people who live in the Northern Great Plains in the United States call this the center moon because it is around the middle of winter, according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac.
Algonquin people located northeast of the Great Lakes, also in the US, call it “squochee kesos,” which means, “sun has not strength to thaw.” The Cheyenne people of the Great Plains call it “moon of the strong cold.”

Full moons and supermoons

There are 12 full moons in 2022, and two of them qualify as supermoons.

Definitions of a supermoon can vary, but the term generally denotes a full moon that is brighter and closer to Earth than normal and thus appears larger in the night sky.

Some astronomers say that the phenomenon occurs when the moon is within 90% of perigee — which is its closest approach to Earth in orbit. By that definition, the full moon for June as well as the one in July will be considered supermoon events.

Here is the list of the remaining full moons for 2022, according to the Farmers’ Almanac:

• February 16: Snow moon

• March 18: Worm moon

• April 16: Pink moon

• May 16: Flower moon

• June 14: Strawberry moon

• July 13: Buck moon

• August 11: Sturgeon moon

• September 10: Harvest moon

• October 9: Hunter’s moon

• November 8: Beaver moon

• December 7: Cold moon

While these are the popularized names associated with the monthly full moon, each one carries varied significance across Native American tribes.

Lunar and solar eclipses

There will be two total lunar eclipses and two partial solar eclipses in 2022, according to The Old Farmer’s Almanac.

Partial solar eclipses occur when the moon passes in front of the sun, but only blocks some of its light. Be sure to wear proper eclipse glasses to safely view solar eclipses, as the sun’s light can be damaging to the eye.

A partial solar eclipse on April 30 can be seen by those in southern South America, the southeastern Pacific Ocean and the Antarctic peninsula. Another one on October 25 will be visible to those in Greenland, Iceland, Europe, northeastern Africa, the Middle East, western Asia, India and western China. Neither of the partial solar eclipses will be visible from North America.

A lunar eclipse can occur only during a full moon when the sun, Earth and moon align, and the moon passes into Earth’s shadow. Earth casts two shadows on the moon during the eclipse. The penumbra is the partial outer shadow, and the umbra is the full, dark shadow.

When the full moon moves into Earth’s shadow, it darkens, but it won’t disappear. Sunlight passing through Earth’s atmosphere lights the moon in a dramatic fashion, turning it red — which is why this is often referred to as a “blood moon.”

Depending on the weather conditions in your area, it may be rusty, brick-colored or blood red.

This happens because blue light undergoes stronger atmospheric scattering, so red light will be the most dominant color highlighted as sunlight passes through our atmosphere and casts it on the moon.

A total lunar eclipse will be visible to those in Europe, Africa, South America and North America (excepting northwestern regions) between 9:31 p.m. ET on May 15 and 2:52 a.m. ET on May 16.

Another total lunar eclipse will also be on display for those in Asia, Australia, the Pacific, South America and North America on November 8 between 3:01 a.m. ET and 8:58 a.m. ET — but the moon will be setting for those in eastern regions of North America.

Meteor showers

The new year kicked off with the Quadrantid meteor shower, which peaked during the first week of January.

The next meteor shower, the Lyrid meteor shower, doesn’t peak until April.

Here are the other showers to watch for in 2022:

• Lyrids: April 21-22

• Eta Aquariids: May 4-5

• Southern delta Aquariids: July 29-30

• Alpha Capricornids: July 30-31

• Perseids: August 11-12

• Orionids: October 20-21

• Southern Taurids: November 4-5

• Northern Taurids: November 11-12

• Leonids: November 17-18

• Geminids: December 13-14

• Ursids: December 21-22

If you live in an urban area, you may want to drive to a place that isn’t littered with city lights that will obstruct your view. If you’re able to find an area unaffected by light pollution, meteors could be visible every couple of minutes from late evening until dawn.

Find an open area with a wide view of the sky. Make sure you have a chair or blanket so you can look straight up. And give your eyes about 20 to 30 minutes to adjust to the darkness — without looking at your phone — so the meteors will be easier to spot.

Dow Jones Futures: Dow Hits High; Tesla, Meta, This ‘Lone Wolf’ Are Resistance Fighters

Dow Jones futures were little changed overnight, along with S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq futures. The stock market rally was mixed on Wednesday as the Dow Jones just hit a record high while rising Treasury yields weighed somewhat on growth names.

X

Tesla (TSLA), Meta Platforms (FB) (nee Facebook) and Datadog stock are all setting up, but hitting some resistance. Breaking above these resistance levels would offer early entries. FB stock and Datadog (DDOG) had already cleared trend line entries, but recent short-term highs are proving important.

Meanwhile, AMD stock and Nvidia (NVDA) pulled back for a second straight day, losing 3.2% and 1.1%, respectively. That largely erased Monday’s bullish moves. Much like Facebook and DDOG stock, Monday’s moves offered early entries for AMD and Nvidia stock, but investors may want to use Tuesday’s intraday highs or simply wait for proper bases to form before taking new positions.

Tesla, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Nvidia stock are on IBD Leaderboard. Tesla stock and AMD are on the IBD 50.

Dow Jones Futures Today

Dow Jones futures were steady vs. fair value. S&P 500 futures edged lower and Nasdaq 100 futures lost 0.1%.

Remember that overnight action in Dow futures and elsewhere doesn’t necessarily translate into actual trading in the next regular stock market session.

Coronavirus News

Coronavirus cases worldwide reached 284.8 million. Covid-19 deaths topped 5.43 million.

Coronavirus cases in the U.S. have hit 54.63 million, with deaths above 844,000.

New Covid cases continue to spike, setting fresh highs worldwide and in the U.S. Omicron is far more infectious than previous Covid variants, but also far-less likely to cause serious illness, especially among the vaccinated.

Stock Market Rally Wednesday

The stock market rally had another quiet session. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.25% in Wednesday’s stock market trading. The S&P 500 index climbed 0.1%. The Nasdaq composite dipped 0.1%. The small-cap Russell 2000 edged up 0.1%.

The 10-year Treasury yield rose six basis points to 1.54%, reclaiming its 50-day line. U.S. crude oil futures climbed 0.8% to $76.56 a barrel as domestic stockpiles fell last week.

Among the best ETFs, the Innovator IBD 50 ETF (FFTY) advanced 0.9%, while the Innovator IBD Breakout Opportunities ETF (BOUT) rose 0.7%. The iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF (IGV) dipped 0.2%. DDOG stock is an IGV holding. The VanEck Vectors Semiconductor ETF (SMH) was just below breakeven. AMD and NVDA stock are key SMH holdings.

SPDR S&P Metals & Mining ETF (XME) dipped 0.6% and Global X U.S. Infrastructure Development ETF (PAVE) edged up 0.4%. U.S. Global Jets ETF (JETS) descended 1.5%. SPDR S&P Homebuilders ETF (XHB) climbed 0.9%. The Energy Select SPDR ETF (XLE) pulled back 0.6% and the Financial Select SPDR ETF (XLF) gave up 0.1%. The Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) rose 0.6%.

Reflecting more-speculative story stocks, ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) retreated 1.1% and ARK Genomics ETF (ARKG) 0.85%. Tesla stock remains the No. 1 holding across ARK Invest’s ETFs, but Cathie Wood has significantly cut its stake in recent months.

Five Best Chinese Stocks To Watch Now

Tesla Stock

Tesla stock dipped 0.2% to 1,086.19 on Wednesday. Shares continue to hold right around a declining trend line after surging from recent lows. Tuesday’s high of 1,119 could serve as an early entry for TSLA stock. Ideally, the EV giant would form a handle here, creating a lower official buy point. The current buy point for the double-bottom base is 1,202.05, according to MarketSmith analysis.

In early January, Tesla will release its fourth-quarter production and delivery figures, with Monday, Jan. 3 the likeliest date. Analysts expect another record quarter of Tesla deliveries, with a lot of buzz that sales could be a blowout. One way or the other, the data will likely be a TSLA stock catalyst.

Meta Platforms Stock

Meta Platforms stock fell nearly 1% on Wednesday to 342.94. While FB stock is still above a trend line entry cleared on Monday, investors looking to start a position now might wait until Meta stock clears the Nov. 22 high of 353.83. That would act as an early entry, and could be seen as a double-bottom base. The reversal from Tuesday’s intraday high of 352.71 suggests that this area is key resistance. Officially, FB stock has a cup base with a 384.43 buy point.

Datadog Stock

Datadog stock rose 1.3% to 179.71 on Wednesday, after finding support at its 50-day line. Shares cleared a trend line entry on Dec. 22, but then hit resistance on Tuesday, reversing lower from an intraday high of 186.28. DDOG stock had short-term highs of 185.95 on Dec. 9 and 187.70 on Nov. 29. A strong move above Tuesday’s high would offer a new early entry. Datadog stock has an official buy point of 199.78.

One concern is that Datadog is almost a lone wolf in these dog days for the software sector.

Market Rally Analysis

The stock market rally continues to consolidate after a solid stretch. If the major indexes pause through year-end in this low-volume environment, leading stocks can carve out handles or finish up bases, including Tesla and AMD. That would leave investors in good position heading into 2022, as institutional traders return.

The Dow Jones hit record levels Wednesday after the S&P 500 hit an all-time high on Monday. The Nasdaq composite isn’t far off.

The Russell 2000 is still stuck below its 200-day line. Market breadth is off its December lows, but remains relatively weak.

Time The Market With IBD’s ETF Market Strategy

What To Do Now

With the end of the year coming and trading activity subdued, there’s just no need to get super intense. On New Year’s Eve, young revelers might have a raucous time, but 5 a.m. on New Year’s Day is not the time to suddenly start going manic.

Riding into 2022 with your current holdings, whether it’s all cash, a couple token positions or solid exposure, is a sensible strategy.

Over the next several days, investors should build up their watchlists. Make sure you are keeping an eye on a wide range of sectors. Market leadership is relatively broad.

Meanwhile, review your 2021 trading. Look over your big winners and losers. Try to discover how you traded these stocks and how you could have improved, from the selection to the buys and sells.
