Anne Hathaway shows off her endless legs in a black mini dress at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival

Anne Hathaway flaunted her long legs at the premiere of her new film Eileen at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival on Saturday.

The 40-year-old actress strutted the carpet in a sensational black mini dress as she posed up a storm for the cameras at the event, which was held at the Eccles Center Theatre.

Her dress of choice sported a faint checkered design that was formed out of lace material and had a semi-sheer back, which she was happy to show off.

She paired her all-black ensemble with tights, laced-up boots, and a large puffer jacket.

The Les Miserables actress had her brunette hair styled in a windswept look and kept her makeup very natural with simple eyeshadow and light red lipstick.

For accessories, the beauty sported a small purse, a small gold necklace, gold hoop earrings, a silver bracelet, and several rings.

The Oscar winner was joined on the carpet by her costar Thomasin McKenzie, and the two looked very friendly as they shared some laughs and posed together. 

Thomasin donned an all-black ensemble, save for the white collar on her oversized blazer.

She kept the blazer buttoned over a black dress that cut off at her mid-thigh and wore a pair of black tights underneath.

The 22-year-old also wore a pair of black lace-up boots with a silver buckle and kept her accessories to a minimum, with only a simple pair of pearl earrings.

Eileen was adapted from the breakout debut novel by Ottessa Moshfegh and is an offbeat period noir about a young woman working in a Massachusetts prison.

Thomasin stars as the titular Eileen and Anne as the prison guard femme fatale she becomes entangled with. 

The film was directed by William Oldroyd (Lady Macbeth). The script was co-written by the book’s writer Ottessa Moshfegh, and Luke Goebel (Causeway). 

It was produced by Anthony Bregman, Stefanie Azpiazu, Peter Cron, as well as Luke, Ottessa, and William.

Alongside Anne and Thomasin, Eileen also stars Shea Whigham, Marin Ireland, and Owen Teague.

When discussing the film with Vanity Fair, Anne shared how difficult the film was to categorize and how, when the time came for the first rehearsal, she was still trying to figure it out. 

‘As you can imagine, over the course of the past however many decades, I’ve read a number of scripts,’ she said. 

‘But I had to sit with this one. I had to go back to it. I had to walk away from it. It kept revealing itself to me.’

Both Anne and Thomasin got their start in film at an early age. The former having played the iconic Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries films, alongside Julie Andrews.

Thomasin got her first major role in Jojo Rabbit, the Oscar-winning feature written and directed by Taika Waititi.

Just days ago it was reported that the reality star had  bought the beloved purple amethyst-and-diamond-encrusted Attallah cross pendant during an auction held by Sotheby’s on Wednesday. The UK-based company confirmed the sale to DailyMail.com.

A source close to the SKIMS founder revealed that Kim is ‘honored to be able to own a fine piece of jewelry once worn by the late princess’ and to add to her growing collection of historic memorabilia worn by ‘strong, iconic women who have inspired Kim.’

‘Can she just stop? I literally cannot stand her or her family. They are the epitome of privileged a**holes,’ a fifth tweet read.

Kim’s recent purchase has resulted in furious fire from online users.

‘Is she gonna open a museum of accessories and clothes of dead people that she’s desecrated?’ asked someone else.

‘The truth is that she’s nothing but a chameleon – doesn’t stand out on her own, only molds herself to what is currently popular/trendy,’ wrote another user.

‘That’s why she latches on to these iconic memorabilia from past stars. She has nothing but wealth and cheap tricks in her name.’

‘She can buy iconic items but she will never be an icon,’ read a different tweet. 

DailyMail.com has reached out to Kim’s representative for comment.

Austin Butler’s voice coach explains why he still speaks in Elvis’ Memphis drawl: ‘It’s genuine’

Austin Butler’s voice coach defended his Elvis accent, after the actor baffled fans at recent Golden Globes by continuing to speak in the King’s famous Memphis drawl.

Irene Bartlett, who trained the 31-year-old star for his role in Elvis, revealed the reason why Butler still sounds like the late superstar, and that his accent might remain ‘forever.’ 

‘What you saw in that Golden Globes speech, that’s him. It’s genuine, it’s not put on,’ Irene said on ABC’s Gold Coast on Monday, referring to Austin’s acceptance speech after he picked up his first Golden Globe Award for role in music icon’s biopic.

Fans have been confused about the voice change since filming for Elvis wrapped in March 2021, and the movie was released June 24, 2022, however Irene further explained why Austin still sounds like he did in the movie.

‘Because of COVID shutdowns, he was working on it all the time and it’s difficult to switch off something you’ve spent so much focus [and] time on.’

I strip away all the effects someone is putting on, and I go “what does this natural voice sound like?” and what is working and what needs help in terms of enhancement, in terms of support, flexibility, stamina, all those things.’

Butler was delighted as he scooped the award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Drama for his work on 2022 film Elvis – but the focus quickly switched to his incredibly different sounding voice.

As the star began: ‘I just want to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press for this honor’ before praising his ‘mama’, fans clocked he was still speaking in his Elvis-style Memphis drawl from the movie, almost two years after filming had ended.

Austin was so dedicated to perfecting his role as Elvis in the renowned biopic released last summer that he didn’t see his family for three years as he prepped for the film in Australia.

Production for Elvis was postponed in March 2020 when one of its stars, Tom Hanks, was diagnosed with COVID-19 and hospitalized.

The actor is currently mourning the death of Elvis’ only child, daughter Lisa Marie Presley, who supported him at the Golden Globes before passing on January 12 from cardiac arrest at age 54. 

‘I am eternally grateful for the time I was lucky enough to be near her bright light and will forever cherish the quiet moments we shared. Her warmth, her love and her authenticity will always be remembered,’ he said in a statement to E! News on Friday, January 13 – one day after her death.

Singer Billie Eilish is requesting a restraining order against a man she claims tried to break into her family’s Los Angeles home.

Earlier this month, the man, 39-year-old Christopher Anderson, tried to break into the Highland Park home by jumping a fence, and he was then taken into custody.

The singer also alleged in the order (via TMZ) that Anderson tried to visit her family  home multiple times in December, with local police filing several reports.

The court documents ask for protection for the singer, her 25-year-old brother Finneas and their parents, actress/teacher Maggie Baird and actor Patrick O’Connell.

Billie’s father revealed that Anderson visited their home many times since late December.

Police were called to Eilish’ parents’ Highland Park home on January 5 at around 9:15, responding to a call that someone was trying to scale the fence to get into the property.

While stepping out in a white and blue ‘Aspen’ sweatsuit, the reality star, 54, smiled coyly as she walked back to her car after enjoying lunch at Il Pastaio on Monday with her youngest daughter Portia Umansky.

As she prepared to head home, the younger sister of Kathy Hilton gushed to TMZ that she thought Chrissy Teigen should replace Lisa Rinna on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Kim Kardashian threw her daughter Chicago a lavish Hello Kitty-themed party to celebrate her fifth birthday on Sunday.

The Kardashian reality star, 42, took to social media to show off the extravagant party in her all beige $60 million Hidden Hills mansion with pink walls and carpets just for the occasion.

Chicago is one of four children that she shares with her ex-husband Kanye West – who recently ‘tied the knot’ with one of his Yeezy designers in a private ceremony just two months after their divorce was finalized.

There was no sign of the rapper in any of the social media videos posted by the family.

Michelle Williams was a vision in yellow on Saturday when she attended the BAFTA Tea Party in Los Angeles at the Four Seasons Hotel.

The Fabelmans star, 42, dazzled in a canary-colored minidress, and her radiant appearance at the A-list event comes on the heels of her 17-year-old daughter Matilda Ledger being spotted in New York City.

Sightings of Matilda – who is the only child of the late Heath Ledger – are exceedingly rare as Michelle has worked hard to keep her daughter out of the limelight.

Cheryl Burke has reportedly won custody of her French bulldog Ysabella, bringing her nasty divorce from ex-husband Matthew Lawrence to a close.

The Dancing with the Stars pro, 38, declared in October that the couple was ‘going to trial,’ however it appears that the 42-year-old child star has instead relinquished his rights to the Frenchie.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Cheryl has been awarded full ownership of Ysabella, leaving Lawrence to focus on his new relationship with Chilli from TLC.

Mathew is already in a new relationship with Chilli from TLC – born Rozonda Thomas, 51.

A rep for the No Scrubs singer told TMZ earlier this month that she and Lawrence entered into an ‘exclusive relationship’ at the start of the holiday season.

The couple went Instagram official at the end of December, posting a video of them dancing to Take on Me.

Cheryl initially filed for Divorce from Mathew on February 18th, saying the couple had separated January 7th 2022.

In September, Burke and Lawrence reached an accord to split their two properties and waive spousal support on both sides, as denoted in their premarital agreement.

In a new interview with Us Weekly, Marie Osmond opened up about motherhood and defended her choice to not to leave her eight children an inheritance.

‘Why would you enable your child to not try to be something? I don’t know anybody who becomes anything if they’re just handed money,’ the show business vet, 63, said.

The ageless beauty – who recently revealed she wants Selena Gomez to play her in a biopic – continued, ‘To me, the greatest gift you can give your child is a passion to search out who they are inside and to work.’

Marie and Brian’s oldest child Michael struggled with depression and took his own life at the age of 17 in 2010.

‘And, I just think all [an inheritance] does is breed laziness and entitlement. I worked hard and I’m gonna spend it all and have fun with my husband.’

Marie first made her plan not to leave the kids her money back in February 2020.

‘Let them be proud of what they make. I’m going to give mine to my charity.’

This past November she showered daughter Brianna in affection as she wished her a happy birthday.

‘Where does the time go? Happy Birthday to my precious daughter Brianna,’ she began the caption. ‘And now you have two beautiful little girls of your own. You’re such a precious and incredible mama!!! 

‘I could not love you more, my angel!!!’ she gushed to her 359,000 followers.
