Travis Scott Causes Chaotic Scene at Grocery Store

Travis Scott went to work, literally, to make sure his new spiked seltzer hit local shelves … but in the process, he caused a chaotic, and potentially dangerous, scene.

Scott hit up several grocery stores around Los Angeles Monday to promote his CACTI spiked seltzer. The rapper went inside a Pavillions in West Hollywood to check on his product and grab a pack of gum … only to be swarmed by fans.

You can see the cashier and another customer get engulfed by the crowd as Travis signs autographs and tries to pay for his gum.

What’s most upsetting about the video … some fans aren’t wearing masks, and every time he speaks, or yells, Travis pulls his own mask down … defeating the whole point of wearing one.

Grocery stores have gone to great lengths to make sure customers can shop safely, and to see the safe practices like mask-wearing and social distancing completely ignored — essentially over a pack of gum — is sure to enrage store management.

It was just last month when Travis attracted a huge crowd for a newsstand he put up in Los Angeles. City officials said they were investigating the incident because Travis didn’t get a permit, though nothing has been done yet.

Travis Scott‘s flash mob-type event on the streets of West Hollywood might cost him — because city officials are taking a closer look to see if he broke pandemic regulations.

L.A.’s Dept. of Public Works tells TMZ … the city did not issue a permit for Travis’ pop-up gathering Tuesday in WeHo, as we’re told the city’s been frowning on dishing ’em out lately due to COVID-19 — especially for non-essential gatherings like this.

In light of that, we’re told Public Works plans to consult with the City Attorney’s office on any possible actions they might wanna take — including potential fines. Public Works did note to us that even though they do issue citations for permitting violations … it wasn’t certain that would be done in this case.

As we reported … Travis assembled dozens of bodies at a newsstand, which he emblazoned with his Cactus Jack signage — all as a way to announce the 1st issue of his “Utopia Issue” of i-D Magazine. Limited editions were being distributed to the masses.

You’ll recall … Travis got dinged for something very similar not too long ago in the SoCal city of Downey, which only ended up costing a couple hundred bucks — and McDonald’s covered the tab for him.

That’s not to say L.A. will do the same — the City Council has been gunning to crack down on blatant COVID rule-breaking. Members recently voted to have cops step up enforcement, and for the City Attorney to potentially institute stiffer penalties for those who flout safety measures.

As fans might recall, Travis and Shanna tied the knot in 2004 and separated two years later. While they officially got divorced in February 2008, the couple tried to work on their relationship, especially after he was injured in a plane crash that left four people dead in September 2008. But alas, a year later, they felt it was best to call it quits for good. The exes share two kids together: Landon Asher Barker, 17, and Alabama Luella Barker, 15.

These days, however, it looks like the Blink-182 star has found his special someone with Kourtney. Back in January, E! News confirmed the two were dating with a source telling us at the time, “It’s been very low-key.”

“They are a really good match, and Kourtney’s entire family already loves Travis,” the insider added. “They have been neighbors and great friends for years, and it just recently turned romantic.”

Weeks after reports emerged that the longtime friends and reality show veterans had coupled up (and days after Kardashian’s ex, Scott Disick, went Instagram official with 19-year-old model Amelia Hamlin), Kardashian posted a caption-less photo verifying the rumors to Instagram. The photo, which Barker reposted to his Instagram Stories, shows the couple’s hands clasped, with Barker’s trademark tattoos on display. The two most recently spent Valentine’s Day together, with both posting photos of the same fireplace over the weekend, after vacationing at Kris Jenner’s Palm Springs house together in January. Will they make this last forever? Only time will tell.

Kourtney Kardashian has gone Instagram-official with Travis Barker, sealing the deal with a pic of the couple’s intertwined hands she posted Tuesday night.

Kardashian, 41, declined to tag Barker, 45, in the front-seat snap, but the “f” and “s” of Barker’s “self made” and “dues paid” job-stoppers are visible on his right hand. The pic puts a fine point on where the pair’s relationship lies since they were seen posting the same fireplace pics over Valentine’s Day.

Page Six confirmed that Kardashian and Barker, longtime friends, had moved things into a romantic phase in January after they both posted pics from Kris Jenner’s Palm Springs vacation home.

Kourtney’s at least upgraded in the drum skills department from her last rumored musician beau, Justin Bieber.

TMZ’s report revealed that they will continue to co-parent their 19-month old daughter Stormi.

While the couple has taken breaks in the past and come back together, they’re currently apart, so it’s time to explore their whirlwind relationship.

Kylie attended the event with her sister Kendall and mother Kris, as well as friends including Jaden Smith, and showed no sign of heartbreak at the nuptials.

Kourtney Kardashian is impressed by boyfriend Travis Barker‘s early musical endeavor.

On Jan. 31, Travis—the drummer for Blink-182 and the former star of reality series Meet the Barkers—took to Instagram to share a throwback video of himself playing with his former band. “My first punk band FEEBLE,” the artist wrote in the caption, which showed the group playing on a much smaller stage than Travis is now used to performing on.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shared her reaction in the comments, writing just “wow” in response to the fun throwback.

This is just one example of how the just-confirmed couple is making their romance known on social media. Earlier this month, fans noticed that Travis had taken to commenting flower emojis on multiple of Kourtney’s Instagram pics. Kourtney also shared photos from the movie True Romance, one of Travis’ favorite films, to which he commented, “You’re So Cool.”

While fans may be fascinated by how these two went from neighbors in the California community of Calabasas to dating, a source told E! News that the relationship is very “low-key.”

It sure looks like Travis Konecny has been benched for Flyers-Islanders game

VOORHEES, N.J. — All signs from Saturday’s morning skate point to the Flyers’ 2019-20 leading scorer and goal scorer being benched for tonight’s game against the Islanders at the Wells Fargo Center.

Travis Konecny was not on either power play unit in practice as he stayed off to the side and then skated with the other apparent scratches (Robert Hagg, Nate Prosser and Brian Elliott) following the morning session.

Samuel Morin, the club’s 13th forward who has not appeared in a game yet this season, led the team’s post-practice stretches. Typically, when a player leads stretches, there’s some type of significance to it. Also, teammates often tap their sticks or cheer during such a moment, depending on the reason, but it was rather quiet and subdued Saturday given the circumstances of Konecny appearing to be out of the lineup.

Head coach Alain Vigneault’s pregame media availability is scheduled for 4:45 p.m. ET. We’ll know more then before puck drop (7 p.m. ET/NBCSP).

Konecny did not have a shot on goal and had two giveaways in 17:33 minutes of the Flyers’ 3-1 win Thursday over the Devils. He played only 4:20 in the third period and played around 30 seconds in the final five minutes of the game. After the game, Vigneault was left displeased with and perplexed by the performances of his top two forward lines in the first two periods.

 

Getting Morin a game in a back-to-back set would be one thing, but doing so at the expense of Konecny’s spot in the lineup says something. This is the Flyers’ first game against the team that eliminated them in a second-round Game 7 of the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Unless Konecny is dinged up physically, and it doesn’t appear that he is considering he participated in practice and stayed on for extra work, this is a loud message sent from Vigneault nine games into the 2020-21 season. Konecny was an All-Star last season and led the Flyers in goals (24) and points (61) over 66 games. The 23-year-old winger has five goals, three assists and a plus-5 mark through the first eight games of this season.

The message would not only be sent to Konecny, but also to the Flyers’ entire roster. Despite their 5-2-1 start, the Flyers have been outshot in seven of their eight games, with five of them by double-digit margins. Last season, the Flyers allowed the NHL’s fewest shots per game. 

Philippe Myers is expected to return Saturday night from a fractured rib. He skated alongside Travis Sanheim and appears good to go. Carter Hart will start in net, while Brian Elliott is expected to play the second game of the back-to-back set Sunday.

Travis Barker was seen with his 17-year-old son Landon in Malibu on Monday. This is the first time the 45-year-old rocker has been spotted out in public since it was claimed he has been dating longtime friend Kourtney Kardashian for the past few months.

Meanwhile, that same day the 41-year-old Kourtney shared several flashback images with her kids from the five star Amangiri resort in Canyon Point, Utah where sisters Kim and Kylie have vacationed before. 

Also on Monday it was claimed Kourtney’s ex Scott Disick is ‘happy’ for his former partner with whom he has three young children – Mason, Penelope and Reign.

Barker was seen in a black T-shirt that read Local Authority with his tattoos showing as he walked around Malibu.

Landon had on a hoodie that said Beverly Hills Gun Range as he was one step behind his dad. 

The musician shares stepdaughter Atiana, 21, daughter Alabama, 15, and son Landon with his ex-wife, Playboy model Shanna Moakler, whom he was married to from 2004 to 2008.

Last week it was claimed Kardashian is romancing Barker.

The POOSH star has sparked romance rumours with the Blink-182 drummer after they were spotted hanging out together at Kris Jenner’s Palm Springs home over the weekend.

Both Kourtney and Travis posted pictures to their respective Instagram Stories which feature the same pool, suggesting they were together even though neither of them posted photos together.

According to E! News, Travis has also been spotted checking out Kourtney’s recent social media posts, including leaving a comment with a single rose emoji on the reality TV star’s recent flirty mirror selfie.

Earlier in January, he also added a tulip emoji to a photo of Kourtney walking into the ocean, and wrote ‘you’re so cool’ in response to some still she’d shared from the movie True Romance.

This isn’t the first time that Travis and Kourtney – who are neighbors in Calabasas, California – have sparked speculation together, as in 2018, fans suspected the two were an item when they were seen grabbing dinner together in Los Angeles.

They were then spotted together again in early 2019, but sources at the time insisted it was totally platonic.

An insider said: ‘They’ve been friends for years. They’ve lived in the same neighborhood for a long time and they see each other at church and with their kids. They’ve hung out together many times and often get together with the kids to see movies or to get ice cream.’

If the pair are romancing now, it will be the first major relationship for Kourtney since she split from Younes Bendjima in 2018.
