Razer and Verizon tease a 5G gaming handheld that can play games locally
Razer, Qualcomm and Verizon are working together on a 5G gaming handheld. The carrier teased the Razer Edge 5G at Mobile World Congress Las Vegas. Details on the device are sparse, but what we do know is that it will feature Qualcomm’s . Announced in December, the chipset features an Adreno GPU capable of running Android games at 144 frames per second, with support for 10-bit HDR built-in. Additionally, it offers both 5G and WiFi 6E connectivity courtesy of the company’s FastConnect 6900 system.
At the end of last year, Qualcomm and Razer released a Developer Kit that was designed as a showcase of the G3x’s capabilities. The device featured a 120Hz, 6.65-inch OLED display, four-way speakers and built-in controls. If we had to take a guess, the Razer Edge 5G will hew closely to that prototype. In the teaser it shared today, Razer showed off enough of the Edge 5G to reveal it will feature a design that’s a tad more refined than the last Razer device to bear Edge branding.
According to Verizon, the Android handheld can play games locally, in addition to streaming them from the cloud and consoles. That puts the Razer Edge 5G in an interesting spot between and . The former is a dedicated cloud gaming device and costs $350, a hefty price for its limited capabilities. The Steam Deck is more expensive but can run games like Elden Ring, Stray and Hades natively. And if you already own those titles on Steam, you don’t have to pay for them again. What the Steam Deck doesn’t have is 5G connectivity, and that’s something that could make the Razer Edge 5G an interesting option when it’s released. Deadpool 3: Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman Tease a Violent Wolverine Debut
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are having more fun after the announcement that Wolverine will appear in Deadpool 3, this time teasing a very violent fight, and making clear 2017’s Logan is a “totally separate thing”.
Appearing in a video on Ryan Reynolds’ Twitter feed (below), the pair promise “quick explainer video”. It does indeed start by answering how Wolverine can appear after his death in Logan: “Logan takes place in 2029,” says Reynolds “Totally separate thing. Logan died in Logan, not touching that.”
However, after saying, “What actually happens in our film is these two f**king guys…”, the audio fades out, ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go’ begins playing, and we see the actors effectively mime plot points, including what seems to be a fight that sees Deadpool and Wolverine stabbing each other repeatedly.
Expect lip reading experts to have a field day with this one (but probably don’t take too seriously what they’re saying under the music).

The video ends with Jackman and Reynolds thanking the MCU, and Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, before showing us a set of pictures of the two together across the years, ending with a picture of them alongside director Shaun Levy.
Given that we knew Deadpool 3 will be R-rated, it’s no huge surprise that we may be getting a violent fight between the two characters, but it’s nice to know some of their classic comic book moments might be recreated.
Even with the Logan element cleared up, we still have several burning questions about Deadpool and Wolverine entering the MCU in the same movie, from whether this means the X-Men movie universe will be merged into the multiverse, where in the Phases this falls, and more. We’ll find out when Deadpool 3 arrives in 2024.

In an email sent to customers in Japan, Nintendo shared a message from Monolith Soft’s Tetsuya Takahashi, the senior director of Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
We’ve translated the full note below, which includes another tease about plans for the future. There’s just a slight story spoiler about the overall series, so keep that in mind before proceeding.
Greetings to everyone who purchased Xenoblade Chronicles 3. This is Takahashi from Monolith Soft.
Thanks to your support, we’ve released the third Xenoblade title, twelve years after the original Xenoblade was released for the Wii in 2010. Xenoblade 3 has been called the culmination of the whole series up until now, and it truly is the culmination. We at Monolith have put everything we have cultivated over the past twelve years into it.
It is also a stopping point to me. This title depicts the conclusion of the Xenoblade story that began with Klaus’s experiment.
While it is a conclusion, that does not mean it is the end of the Xenoblade series. It is just a stopping point in my mind. I think that everyone who played this title and the additional stories in the Expansion Pass can imagine what lies in the future for Xenoblade.
I have one recommendation for how to play Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Some things are marked by a ? on the game map. Even if you are in the middle of progressing the main story after finding the ? marks, try taking a detour. There are many encounters waiting there.

‘She-Hulk’ Gets New Premiere Date; Creative Team Shows Solidarity With VFX Artists & Tease Daredevil’s Role—TCA – Deadline
The Marvel series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law now will premiere August 18 on Disney+, a day later than was previously announced, it was announced ahead of the show’s virtual TCA panel on Wednesday.
On the panel, series star Tatiana Maslany was joined by creator and director Jessica Gao and director Kat Coiro who spoke about what’s ahead.
“I think you guys know we are not allowed to tell you any of that,” Gao told Deadline with a laugh when asked if Matt Murdoch/Daredevil’s (Charlie Cox) appearance in She-Hulk will set up the recently announced Daredevil: Born Again. “Marvel has security guards posted outside of each of our doors.”
However, Maslany is anxious for fans to know that “Charlie is amazing and he does some really great work.” She added, “You know, the tone of our show is so different, and to see his character in the tone of She-Hulk is really fun to watch.”
Added Coiro, “To watch Matt Murdoch and Jennifer Walters’ She-Hulk and Daredevil go to toe and match wits, I think is something people are going to love.”
Gao touts the magic that comes across on screen is thanks to Maslany and Cox’s “great chemistry.” Adding, “It really has the vibe of an old Howard Hawks movie.”
Across nine episodes, Jennifer Walters (Maslany) stars an attorney specializing in superhuman-oriented legal cases who must navigate the complicated life of a single thirtysomething who also happens to be a 6-foot-7 superpowered green hulk. She counts on the guidance of her cousin The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) to help figure out what being a giant green superhero is all about.

The comedy will also welcome back other MCU vets like Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, Benedict Wong as Wong, as well as Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry.
Bringing to life a project like She-Hulk requires extensive work from VFX artists, many of who have spoken out recently about the work conditions and challenges they face while completing projects with a short turnaround time. Coiro said she stands in solidarity with them.
“The truth is, we work with them but we’re not behind the scenes. So if they’re feeling the pressure, we stand with them and we listen to them,” Coiro said.
Gao added, “I feel incredibly deferential to how talented these artists are and how quickly they have to work. Obviously, like much quicker than probably should be given to them in terms of churning these things out. I know there are a lot of eyes on the CG and a lot of critiques, but I think we have to be super conscious about how the work conditions aren’t always optimal. And that they’ve made these amazing strides in the industry and in this tech where I watch it and I see thoughts as opposed to a cutscene from a video game. I feel very in awe of what they do and very grateful that we get to work with these amazing artists.”
