Cardi B & Offset’s Son, Wave Set Cephus, Was Named By Migos Member Sources Say

It’s also been revealed that the baby boy already has a jewelry collection worth hundreds of thousands.

Seeing as they both have incredibly unique monikers themselves, it’s really no surprise that Cardi B (born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) and Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus) opted to give their son a name like Wave Set Cephus. According to a new report from TMZ, it was the young boy’s father who came up with the clever title.

Sources say that, once the musically talented couple discovered they were having their first boy together — they already share 3-year-old Kulture Kiari Cephus — they immediately started throwing around name suggestions, with the Migos member’s idea coming out on top.

As for his middle name, Set, it’s been reported that Cardi and Offset were initially considering Marley as a play on the “WAP” hitmaker’s middle name but ultimately, Wave Marley Cephus just didn’t sound right to her.

When their bundle of joy arrived on September 4th, and his parents were able to get a good look at him, they went with Set — inspired by a nickname given to his dad by friends.

While the “Clout” collaborators enjoyed their first few months at home with baby Wave, they primarily kept him off social media and out of the spotlight, reportedly due to the negativity they’re hit with online at times, especially directed towards their children.

The Cardi B-mini me may be just a few months old, but he’s already got an incredible jewelry collection thanks to Elliot Elliante, who iced the young boy out with diamond studs, tennis chains, a custom wave charm, and a Miami link chain said to be worth nearly $200K.

Wave Set Cephus made his debut on the cover of Essence alongside his older biological sister, as well as his half siblings from Offset’s prior relationships — read more about that here, and let us know what your thoughts on the unique baby name are in the comments.

Kanye West Leaks Contract To Announce Yeezy x Gap x Balenciaga Collab

Ye has officially teamed up for a collaboration with Gap and Balenciaga.

All of the rumors were true. The fashion world was hit with a lightning strike on Friday morning (January 7) when Kanye West announced the official collaboration between Yeezy, Gap, and Balenciaga. He made the announcement in unorthodox style (well, not for him) by leaking one page of the contract signed by himself, Balenciaga’s Demna, and Gap’s higher-ups.

For the last few years, Ye has been working closely with Gap to develop his own collection. Over the course of the last twelve months, few pieces have seen the light of day, aside from the “Perfect Hoodie” in multiple colors. And in recent months, every time Ye steps out of the house, he’s been wearing Balenciaga, usually rocking the same outfit as the day prior. On dates with his new girlfriend Julia Fox, he has also been dressing her in the latest Balenciaga styles, much as he did with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

Posting a page from Yeezy’s contract with Gap and Balenciaga, which formally announces the collaboration for the first time, Ye made sure everybody is aware of what would happen if a conflict were to occur during the rollout of the capsule.

Fans are excited to see what comes of this collaboration. However, considering the fact that Balenciaga is involved, this likely won’t be a price-conscious collection for the middle-class. If you’re rich though, this might be something to look forward to.

Apex Legends cosplayer casually rocks Wattson & Valkyrie streetwear looks

One Apex Legends cosplayer has come up with new streetwear looks for Valkyrie and Wattson, and we’d love to see some skins inspired by them make it to the game.

Neither Wattson and Valkyrie are OG legends, but they’ve definitely found their way into the meta, and the hearts of fans since entering the battle royale.

Now, Japanese cosplayer @hime_turu1 has come up with two great streetwear looks for each character, that puts a more casual spin on both and takes them away from the chaos of the arena.

The Wattson look comes in with the classic electric blue eyes, shocking blond hair, and the distinctive scar on her left cheek. What makes it ‘streetwear’ is the casual sweater in place of the Static Defender’s regular jumpsuit.

It might not be the best for a tactical engagement in King’s Canyon, as there’s nowhere for Wattson to store her gear, but it does remind us of some of the countless fan art for the legend floating around out there.

Next up is Valkyrie, who rather than looking like she just flew down from the sky, now seems to have just stepped out of the club with a sleek maroon bomber jacket (a very appropriate choice).

While hime’s outfits might not be the most meticulous, the makeup and hair styles are so on-point it’s not hard to tell which legend they’re trying to portray, which is impressive all by itself.

While these cosplays might have been on the more casual side, we can’t wait to see what hime comes up with next, and which legends get a similar casual makeover next.

Considering they seem to be a massive Apex fan, we’d guess more cosplays are probably in the pipline, so we’ll just have to wait and see what they come up with next.
