Britney Spears shares rare photo of sons Sean Preston, 15, and Jayden James, 14

Britney Spears can’t believe her “two babies” — Sean Preston, 15, and Jayden James, 14 — are now young men.

The singer, 39, shared a rare photo from a hike with the pair she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Both are now taller than their famous mama — and she said the teens, who have on masks in the pic, gave her approval to post the image.

“It’s so crazy how time flies,” Spears wrote. “My boys are so big now!!!! I know … I know … it’s very hard for any mama especially a mama with boys seeing them grow up so fast !!!! Talk about enough to make you go to your knees … GEEZ !!!!”

However, “I’m extremely lucky because my two babies are such gentleman and so kind that I must have done something right !!!!,” she wrote.

Spears wrote that she hasn’t posted photos of them recently “cause they’re at the age where they want to express their own identities and I totally get it.” She said she “went out my way” to edit the photo of the sunset and that is what got them to agree to let her post.

“Now I don’t feel left out anymore and I’m gonna go celebrate,” she joked, adding, “Oh sh** I guess cool moms don’t do that … Ok I’ll just read a book instead.”

Spears’s boyfriend, Sam Asghari, commented on the photo, “Lioness with her Cubs.”

The teens primarily reside with Federline, Spears’s backup dancer husband, who has the better hand in their 70-30 custody arrangement.

In September 2019, the boys were granted a restraining order, obtained through Federline’s attorney, preventing Spears’s dad and co-conservator Jamie from being able to see them. It stemmed from an alleged incident a month earlier when Jamie and Sean Preston had a verbal argument which led to Jamie allegedly putting his hands on the teen.

In early 2020, Jayden shared what he really thought about his grandfather in an Instagram Live video that was quickly deleted.

Jamie, of course, is at the center of the #FreeBritney movement. Spears has been in a conservatorship since her 2008 involuntary hospitalizations. Jamie, initially at the helm of the entire thing, now oversees Spears’s $60 million estate along with co-conservator Bessemer Trust, a financial company, but Spears has been trying, through her court-appointed attorney, to have her dad ousted. Her attorney said she’s afraid of him and won’t resume working until he’s no longer in the role. Spears wants the conservator of her person Jodi Montgomery —who currently makes decisions about her health, where she lives and who she sees — to oversee the whole thing.

The New York Times documentary Framing Britney Spears looked at the conservatorship and amped up the movement to #FreeBritney. Last week, Jamie’s lawyer insisted “people have it so wrong” and he only wants to help his daughter from people who “were exploiting her.”

Monday was a reflective day for Spears, who also shared a post talking about “the craziness the past year” and it suggested she wasn’t just talking about the one-year anniversary of the coronavirus pandemic hitting the U.S.

She wrote, “This new year should be a year of cleansing our inner selves with meditation … prayer … any kind of hobby that brings joy … and being conscious of what we put in our bodies as well ] !!! This all helps us to have a clear mind … body … spirit and offers so much more clarity in our everyday lives !!!! This year I devote myself to lots of tea and healing !!!! I’m working on allowing myself to not be so strong all the time and to know it’s ok to cry !!!! I pray for deep healing this year for all of us and I hope we can all inspire each other !!!!”

She ended with, “Again … BE KIND – PASS IT ON AMERICA!!!!” — a message also learned in the documentary, which showed how mean the media was to her along her rise to superstardom.

Spears also shared a throwback of herself at the 2002 Grammys. She was just 20 at the time and looked so happy and in a red dress with curly locks.

“This night was a dream,” she wrote. “Sometimes you have so much fun that the time flies by in literally 2 seconds !!!! That happened to me this night !!!! I got to hair and makeup in jeans and a sweatshirt and I left like this !!!!”

Spears admitted, “It’s taken me 19 years to realize that I was Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman” with her red dress, the white and red diamonds and “geez the curly hair!!!! The power of dreams.”

The next hearing in her conservatorship case is March 17.

Dr. Laura Berman says Apple policy prevents access to son’s iPhone after overdose

Relationship therapist and television host Dr. Laura Berman and her husband are unable to access their recently deceased son’s cellphone, and must provide Apple with a death certificate before receiving the necessary approval to do so, according to a report.

Berman, a doctor and award-winning radio and television host, told NBC for a segment that aired Tuesday that she and her husband, Sam Chapman, have been left with no choice but to wait for Apple to allow them to access their 16-year-old son’s iPhone because they don’t have the passcode.

The teen, Samuel “Sammy” Berman Chapman, was pronounced dead on Sunday after his mother discovered him unconscious in the bedroom of his Santa Monica, Calif., home shortly before 4:30 p.m. local time, police and reports said.

In a heartbreaking post shared on her Instagram, Berman explained how they have reason to believe he suffered a drug overdose.

“My beautiful boy is gone. 16 years old. Sheltering at home,” she wrote in a caption paired with a photograph of her and Sammy. She later added: “My heart is completely shattered and I am not sure how to keep breathing. I post this now only so that not one more kid dies.”

Berman wrote that she and her husband learned their son had been messaging with a drug dealer via Snapchat and is suspected to have taken drugs, possibly Xanax or Percocet, that were laced with something more dangerous than he realized, likely fentanyl.

“I know he did not know he was taking fentanyl. He was not interested in that; he was scared of it,” she told Fox News on Tuesday. “He did not actively understand addiction and did not want to be addicted yet, unfortunately, most American teenagers experiment in these fentanyl-laced, supposedly relatively innocent experimental drugs.”

A toxicology report will provide additional answers.

OWN HOST DR. LAURA BERMAN WARNS PARENTS ABOUT OPIOID CRISIS FOLLOWING TEEN SON’S APPARENT FENTANYL OVERDOSE

But the grieving parents are unable to now search further on their son’s phone because an Apple policy prevents the company from unlocking his cellphone until a death certificate is provided, TODAY reported.

An Apple spokesperson did not respond to Fox News’ request seeking comment and additional details regarding the policy.

Meanwhile, she told Fox News tech companies and social media platforms need “to help the police get the predators that are killing our children.”

“Snapchat is very clear that they don’t support drug dealing and I’m sure whenever their algorithm finds a page advertising drug dealing they take it down,” she said, “but that doesn’t stop the drug dealer They’re like whack-a-moles. They just pop up with a new account seconds later.”

Berman said the family has not heard from Snapchat but holds the company accountable for “catching the one that did it and the ones that are doing it to other children and parents around the country,” she said.

The spokesperson said the company was “constantly improving” its capabilities to detect drug-related activity.

Berman first shared the news of her son’s death on Instagram Sunday, writing how he overdosed in his room at the family’s home. Berman added that he got the drugs delivered to the house in an “experimentation gone bad.”

During an interview with NBC Nightly News on Monday night, Berman said she went into his room, and “he was on the floor. Gone.”

“My beautiful boy is gone. 16 years old. Sheltering at home,” she wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of her and her son hugging. “My heart is completely shattered and I am not sure how to keep breathing. I post this now only so that not one more kid dies.”

She said a drug dealer connected with her son on the app and he was given maybe Xanax laced with fentanyl, a synthetic opioid pain reliever, according to Fox 11 of Los Angeles.

Berman warned other parents to “watch your kids and WATCH SNAPCHAT especially.”

BILLY BROWN, ‘ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE’ STAR, DEAD AT 68

“A drug dealer connected with him on Snapchat and gave him fentinyl [sic] laced Xanax or Percocet (toxicology will tell) and he overdosed in his room. They do this because it hooks people even more and is good for business but It causes overdose and the kids don’t know what they are taking,” she wrote on Instagram.

Bill Bodner the DEA Special agent In Charge in Los Angeles told Fox 11 that what happened to Sammy is happening to other kids across the U.S.

He said counterfeit pills pushed on social media are made to look just like real Xanax or other types of drugs, but, they are typically fentanyl — which can be deadly.

“It’s something made in a filthy clandestine lab in Mexico. There’s no quality control. The dosing is extremely inconsistent. It only takes 2.5 mg of fentanyl to kill you,” Bodner told the station.

Berman said that her son, who she calls Sammy, was a “Straight A student” and was getting ready for college. She added that her son wanted her to call him Sam, as he was getting older.

Keller to Pay $200K to Man Pepper Sprayed by Police After He Videotaped Son’s Traffic Stop, Lawyer Says – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

The city of Keller has agreed to pay $200,000 to a man who was pepper-sprayed and arrested after he videotaped a police officer who pulled over his son for making a wide right turn, according to the father’s attorney.

Marco Puente filed a lawsuit in federal court in Fort Worth last month against two Keller police officers alleging excessive force and illegal arrest in the Aug. 15 incident.

According to the officers’ body camera footage, Marco Puente’s son Dillon was pulled over by Sgt. Blake Shimanek for making a wide right turn.

Dillon Puente’s father soon appeared at the scene in a separate vehicle and started to videotape what was going on from across the street.

That’s when Shimanek ordered another officer, Ankit Tomer, to arrest the father and pepper spray him. Tomer was also named in the lawsuit.

Both the father and son were taken to jail but police supervisors quickly dropped the charges after they reviewed the case and Shimanek was demoted to officer.

The Keller City Council has scheduled a special meeting Tuesday to discuss a controversial police traffic stop and complaints of excessive force that resulted in a federal lawsuit.

Scott Palmer, attorney for the Puentes, said Sunday both sides agreed to settle the lawsuit during a mediation session on Friday when the city agreed to pay $200,000.

“The Puente family is pleased to have this unfortunate and needless situation behind them,” Palmer and attorney James Roberts said in a statement. “This settlement will justly compensate both Dillon and Marco.”

The statement credited police chief Brad Fortune with acting quickly in “addressing the issues” in the case, but added, “it is disappointing that these officers are still employed at the Keller Police Department.”

Keller Mayor Armin Mizani on Sunday confirmed that the mediation took place but said he was waiting for the agreement to be signed by both sides.

The mayor declined to confirm the settlement amount was $200,000 but said the city itself would be limited to paying a $5,000 deductible. The Texas Municipal League, which insures cities, will pay the rest, he said.

“The city plans to share details once all is finalized,” Mizani said.

A city spokeswoman also noted the deal hasn’t been finalized but said, “The city is pleased that a mediated settlement agreement has been achieved.”

The lawsuit claimed the sergeant targeted the younger Puente because he was Hispanic and wrongfully believed he had drugs in his car.

Larry King’s sons ‘heartbroken’ over death of ‘amazing father’

Larry King’s sons have spoken about the devastation of losing their “amazing father” to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are heartbroken over our father’s death, and together with our extended family mourn his passing,” Larry King, Jr., Chance King, and Cannon King said in a joint statement late Saturday, hours after the 87-year-old TV legend’s death.

“The world knew Larry King as a great broadcaster and interviewer, but to us he was ‘dad,’” said the trio, King’s remaining children after he lost two last year.

“He was the man who lovingly obsessed over our daily schedules and our well-being, and who took such immense pride in our accomplishments — large, small, or imagined,” they wrote.

“And, through it all, we knew without a doubt in the world that he loved us more than life itself.

“He was an amazing father, and he was fiercely loyal to those lucky enough to call him a friend. We will miss him every single day of our lives,” the trio of sons said.

“The outpouring of love and the remembrances of his remarkable career have touched us deeply and we are so thankful,” they said, asking for donations to the American Heart Association or the Beverly Hills Fire Department EMS in lieu of flowers.

They signed the statement “with deep appreciation.”

The former CNN star died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The cause of death was coronavirus, his sixth wife Julia Alexander confirmed to The Post in a phone interview from her home in Florida.

His death came just months after he lost son Andy and daughter Chaia, who died within 23 days apart of each other.

His eldest remaining son, Larry King Jr., 59, was with Annette Kaye, the second of the legendary newsman’s seven wives.

Cannon, 20, and Chance, 21, were both with his on-off wife Shawn Southwick King, who he was reportedly still married to at the time of his death despite previously filing for divorce and splitting again in 2019.
