3 Zodiac Signs Who Will Have A Rough Day On September 26, 2021

While others will be enjoying the Libra Sun and Gemini Moon, for three zodiac signs who will have a rough day on September 26, 2021, it will likely bring frustration as even if there are decisions and choices that you feel ready to make-you won’t feel free to do so.

With the Sun in Libra, we are more able to compromise and find a balanced and fair outcome for any decisions or choices that we may be making in our lives.

The Gemini Moon will only encourage us to think things through and come up with untraditional solutions or ideas making the space to actively create the life that we dream of.

However, in order to be able to explore our ideas, desires, and even dreams we need to feel free to do so; to take action in the future is to feel free to leave the past.

This is where we often get stuck though because whether it’s imagined or real, we often see a lack of freedom in our lives.

We become stuck or bombarded by the responsibilities or obligations in our lives. The wounding that we are trying to make up for and the happiness of others that we’ve taken on as our responsibility.

When we do this, no matter what we desire, no matter what we decide on, we won’t take any action because we don’t feel the freedom to do so.

This is a lot of the energy of Saturn who is currently moving through the last few degrees of Aquarius before shifting into Pisces at the end of this year.

Saturn is all about our restrictions, what holds us in place, teaching us that many of these pieces are actually karmic lessons that we need to learn so we can move beyond them.

In life rarely is it impossible to move forward, instead, we more frequently tell ourselves that so that we have an excuse to not try or upset the status quo.

Today though astrology reaches a pinnacle, forcing our hand and showing us that we’re the ones that have created the lack of freedom in our own lives-which also means we’re the only ones who can change it.

This is going to create some friction, stress, and difficult moments as you realize today that you’ve created the very situations you’re now trying to escape from.

While you will be supported in forwarding movement and reflection of the past through the Stellium in Air Signs and Mercury Retrograde, this is only the beginning of not just removing the blocks you’ve put in place, but also forgiving yourself as well.

In astrology, a Stellium is when there are five or more planetary bodies in one element, in this case, we have six planets as well as both nodes of the moon all in Air Signs. Together this is all about forward movement-but as with anything we have to clean up our past first.

As you move through energy remember you don’t need to change your entire life in one day, but you do need to take that first step.

Zodiac Signs Who Will Have A Rough Day On September 26, 2021:

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

As one of the neighboring signs of those that rule Mercury, one of the planets defining energy today, you will feel this not only strongly but emotionally as well. Today could be one of those days where it’s hard to stop crying and nothing may even have changed since yesterday except that you can feel it all. In your life, you’re aware of the blocks to freedom.

You are aware of what you have created or agreed to that has led to you being in this current situation where you’ve been dreaming more of an escape strategy than anything else.

But it’s different to simply be aware of it versus feeling that at this moment there may be nothing to do to change it. Often, we put off admitting the truth to ourselves because then once we do the next step becomes taking action.

That step is always daunting but then adds onto it the feeling of being unable to, and that is what creates the emotional frustration of feeling stuck in a situation we can’t yet see the end of just yet.

This is where you find yourself today and while it’s important to just feel and cry it out, you also can put pen to paper and start to organize your thoughts and ideas.

While sounding small, even this is considered a first step.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

As emotions go yours tend to be big all the time. You think big, you act big and oftentimes you do so without putting much thought into the future.

This year has had different energy though and so instead of putting on a good face to the world, you’ve allowed yourself more time and energy to go into how you’re feeling and what has brought you here. A bit of self-reflection to help gain more clarity is always of benefit, yet sometimes we discover something that we wish we didn’t.

This has been the weight that you’ve had to carry recently. Some of it is yours, some of it is others and some is just the reality that while you have an end plan insight, you’re not quite sure how to get there.

Today this energy will bombard you and will try to take you under in the overwhelming feeling of negativity; of things never changing so why should you type of energy. Some days are like this.

Some days are harder to get over than others, but it is just one day. Instead of letting it throw you off course or doubt the work you’ve been putting in, try instead to make a list of everything that you’ve done to become better in the past year. Let yourself feel your emotions, but also ground your reality. And maybe go to bed early, tomorrow is a new day.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

As a sign that lives on the intense side of the emotional realm all the time, this energy in some ways may not feel all that different in the beginning. However, as it continues, what’s clear is that this energy is asking you to reflect and step up in ways that you haven’t as of yet.

It’s one thing to have intense feelings about your life but another to realize that all the feelings in the world aren’t going to change your life if you don’t take the steps to.

As often a romantic sign, you fantasize about being saved. About that perfect person coming in and suddenly everything changes, everything is easier.

While beautiful, this isn’t reality. You are the one you’ve been waiting for. You are that perfect person and there’s no one that is meant to come in to change your life for you because then that would be their work and not yours. This isn’t a fun realization because it comes with some responsibility.

If you are the only one that can change your life, it means that all of this is up to you. People who benefit from your poor boundaries won’t ask for you to change, those who are comfortable aren’t going to instigate change; yet that is the common denominator of all of this.

Are the people in your life benefiting more from your life than you are? Today comes with a lot of awareness about why things in your life aren’t changing and while realizing it’s because of you isn’t a fun lesson, it is one you get to do something about.

Nintendo Direct September 2021: the biggest announcements and trailers

In preparation for the busy holiday season, the latest Nintendo Direct was filled with what fans can expect on the Switch in the near future. We already knew about some of the big titles — including new Metroid and Mario Party games — but there were a handful of surprises, including a new Kirby game, an expansion of Switch Online, and a star-studded cast for the Super Mario animated movie. If you missed the event, here’s all the big news.

The Super Mario movie has a date — and a cast

It’s been a long time since we’ve heard about the Super Mario movie, which is being made in collaboration with Minions studio Illumination, but Nintendo had a lot to say about it. The film will be out on December 21st, 2022, and will feature quite the cast, including Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, and Jack Black as Bowser.

N64 and Sega Genesis games are coming to Switch Online

As expected, both Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games are coming to the Switch Online subscription service. The twist is that it’s part of an “expansion pack” which sounds like a premium tier for the service. Nintendo hasn’t announced pricing, but promises that details are coming soon.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is getting a big update in November

It’s been quiet in the cozy world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but Nintendo just announced a major update for the Switch game that could breath some new life into the virtual world. The update won’t be here until November, and Nintendo says it will reveal more details in October — though it looks like we’re finally getting the long-awaited cafe.

Kirby is back

The next Kirby title is called Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and it transports the pink cutie to a post-apocalyptic world for some 3D action. It’s coming to the Switch next spring.

Bayonetta 3 is coming next year

We got a nice, long look at Bayonetta 3, with a nearly four minute long trailer full of action. The bad news is the game won’t be coming out until 2022.

Monster Hunter Rise is getting an expansion

The Switch-exclusive action RPG Monster Hunter Rise is getting what’s described as a major expansion this year, which will include, naturally, new monsters as well as new story elements. The expansion is called Sunbreak, and it’s launching next summer as paid DLC.

The original KOTOR, on the go

Who needs the fancy remake when you can play the original Knights of the Old Republic on the Switch? The game is already available… pretty much everywhere else, but Nintendo’s tablet should be a good home for the classic Star Wars RPG when it launches in November.

The minds behind Nier are making a card game

Nier masterminds Yoko Taro and Yosuke Saito are tackling something very different for their next project. It’s a card-based role-playing game with the slightly unwieldy name Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars, and it’s coming to the Switch on October 28th.

Square Enix is making its take on Mario Kart

Square Enix, the company behind Final Fantasy, announced Chocobo GP, which looks a lot like Mario Kart, except with iconic characters from the FF universe and twists like magical spells. It’s due out next year.

Samsung’s Thom Browne Galaxy Watch 4 Classic goes on sale September 29th

Starting on September 29th, Samsung will start selling limited quantities of the Thom Browne Edition Galaxy Watch 4 Classic it announced at its recent Unpacked event. Each watch comes with interchangeable straps made from leather, rubber and fabric and features rhodium plating. It also includes five custom watch faces. One thing to note about the Thom Browne Edition Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is it will only be available in a 42mm size with Bluetooth connectivity. At $799 for a single watch, you’re paying a hefty premium to get the Thom Browne model over the $250 Galaxy Watch 4 and $350 Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, but that’s how it usually goes with high fashion.

5 things to know for September 22: Coronavirus, United Nations, Congress, Trump revelations, immigration

Here’s what you need to know to Get Up to Speed and On with Your Day.

(You can also get “5 Things You Need to Know Today” delivered to your inbox daily. Sign up here.)

1. Coronavirus

Medical experts are warning of another deadly pandemic winter as Covid-19 numbers tick up and flu season threatens. The US is back at a point where more than 2,000 people are dying of Covid-19 every day on average, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, about 12,000 to 50,000 Americans lose their lives to flu every year. The best way to avoid another devastating season, doctors say, is to get vaccinated for both. Meanwhile, parts of Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, are coming out of long lockdowns and abandoning their “zero Covid” strategies. Leaders want to revive their countries’ economies, especially their tourism sectors, but experts are worried that low vaccination rates in the region could spell disaster.

2. United Nations

The climate crisis was front and center at the UN General Assembly yesterday. Chinese President Xi Jinping recorded a rare address to the UN body promising to halt coal projects, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said his country will present the Paris climate agreement to its parliament next month, and US President Joe Biden and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson stressed further climate action during an Oval Office meeting. An array of international points of conflict were also addressed by the dozens of world leaders present, including nuclear arms in Iran, free and fair elections in Venezuela, and competition between the US and China. The Taliban have also requested representation at this week’s meeting, a move that is expected to kick off a diplomatic battle with the preexisting Afghan envoy.

3. Congress

Progressive Democrats have announced they will not vote for the $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill without passing the $3.5 trillion package that is aimed at enacting President Joe Biden’s economic agenda. That vote is scheduled for next week, and as it stands, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi can afford to lose only a handful of votes to get anything passed. President Biden will increase his engagement with Congressional Democrats today, including a meeting with Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, to try and get all the Democratic factions in line. Yesterday, the House also passed a bill to avoid a government shutdown and suspend the US debt limit. The bill is unlikely to pass the Senate, so the country is still approaching a possible shutdown and financial precipice in the coming weeks.

4. Trump revelations

Several recent revelations have shed light on then-President Trump and his supporters’ plans to subvert the Constitution and keep him in power after the 2020 election. These revelations are likely to be of high interest to the House select committee investigating the January 6 insurrection. For instance, a newly revealed memo shows a conservative lawyer working with Trump’s legal team tried to convince then-Vice President Mike Pence that he could overturn the election results on January 6 when Congress counted the Electoral College votes. The six-step scheme, which included throwing out electors from seven states, was outlined in a two-page memo obtained by Washington Post journalists Bob Woodward and Robert Costa for their book, “Peril.” The memo was then obtained by CNN.

5. Immigration

There are about 8,600 Haitian migrants remaining under the Del Rio International bridge in Texas, waiting to be processed by immigration officials and possibly removed from the country. That’s down from a high of about 14,000 earlier in the week, but there are still tens of thousands of other Haitian refugees further south, still waiting for a chance to enter the US. There are up to 30,000 Haitians in Colombia who may be seeking to travel north, and Panama expects 80,000 migrants to cross its borders by the end of this year. South and Central American leaders have expressed concern at the unprecedented flow of migrants. More than 97% of Haitians migrating to the US do not come directly from Haiti, but rather were residents of other countries first. Many Haitians trying to enter the US are believed to have been living elsewhere since the devastating Haiti earthquake in 2010.

MLB Power Rankings: Cardinals take control of playoff destiny; Yankees, Padres continue September slides

Just to pick up where we left off last week, the wild card races are the best thing we have going in baseball right now. Both spots are up for grabs in the American League while the second one on the National League side is being hotly contested. Or maybe not. The Cardinals are trying to make this thing — from a hoping-things-go-down-to-the-wire perspective — boring.

The Cardinals have now won 10 of their past 11 games. They are now on an eight-game winning streak and those wins all came against teams that were, at least at the time, viable contenders for the second wild card. The Cardinals simply took care of business and now have opened up a three-game lead.

Meanwhile, the Padres have fallen to 3 1/2 games back. They were swept in three games at St. Louis and have lost eight of their past 10. They are 10-24 since Aug. 10 and this is the farthest they’ve been out of playoff position all season. And we saw the dugout shouting match.

The Reds were in an excellent position in late August, holding down the second wild card and looking at a pretty easy upcoming schedule. They’ve since lost two of three to the Marlins, Cubs and Tigers. The failure to take advantage of the non-contenders — the Reds have lost 14 of their past 20 — has put them in a tough spot. They still have a weak remaining schedule, but they need to actually start winning the winnable games.

The Phillies actually are hanging around and they get three against the Orioles and four against the Pirates at home this week. They also close with three at Miami. They need to take care of business, but if they do, they can push the Cardinals.

As for the Mets, the Rockies are closer to them than they are to a playoff spot, so we’ll pass on including them.

Teams

Rcrd

1

Giants

They’ve lost three of five, so I assume some of those other power rankings are dropping them. Not I. I’m not going to doubt this team the rest of 2021. 97-53

2

Dodgers

It’s pretty remarkable that this team hasn’t been a whole game up in first place since April 25 but also hasn’t trailed by more than five games. They’ve just been lurking, right in the Giants’ rearview mirror, nearly the entire season. 96-54

3

Brewers

Prior to the 2018 season, the Brewers had only made the playoffs four times in franchise history. Now in 2021, they barely even celebrated clinching a playoff berth. That’s a testament to what this front office has built. 91-58

4

Rays

After a 21-6 August, the Rays are just 8-10 in September. Does it matter? Probably not. Though surely they’d like to put together some quality play before the playoffs. 92-58

5

Astros

In his last 23 games, Kyle Tucker is hitting .410 with has 13 multi-hit games. In fact, he’s been one of the best hitters in baseball after a slow start. Since May 9, he’s hitting .334/.392/.625. 88-61

6

Blue Jays

The Blue Jays are now 22-10 since Aug. 15. 84-65

7

Red Sox

It appears the Red Sox have weathered the storm. They’ve won five straight, get the two struggling New York teams this week and finish with the lowly Orioles and Nationals. 1 86-65

8

White Sox

Jose Abreu is up to 113 RBI. That’s six times in eight years he’s in triple digits and he had 60 in 60 games last year. Say what you will about the RBI, but this dude is a run-producing machine. 1 85-64

9

Athletics

The A’s only play the Mariners (seven times) and Astros (six) the rest of the way. So I guess that means they control their own destiny, right? 3 82-67

10

Cardinals

The Cardinals have won 16 of Adam Wainwright’s last 19 starts. He has a 2.22 ERA in that span while averaging nearly seven innings per start. He’s 40 years old. 4 79-69

11

Yankees

The Yankees are now 7-15 since that 13-game winning streak. 1 83-67

12

Mariners

Jarred Kelenic in September: .283/.348/.650 with four doubles and six homers. Remember, he’s only 22 years old. 1 80-69

13

Braves

Max Fried is pitching himself into possible playoff ace territory. In his last nine starts, he has a 1.71 ERA and the Braves have won eight of them. 4 77-70

14

Phillies

In addition to the wild card spot mentioned in the intro above, the Phillies are only two games behind the Braves in the NL East. This thing is far from over. 3 76-73

15

Padres

Jake Arrieta and Vince Velasquez both being in the rotation shows how desperate their starting pitching situation has become. 4 76-73

16

Reds

From Aug. 19-22, the Reds swept the Marlins in four games. They were 4 1/2 games ahead of the Cardinals at the time. They have lost two of three in every single series since. 1 77-73

17

Indians

Cal Quantrill since the All-Star break: 5-1, 1.79 ERA, 1.01 WHIP. This rotation next season at full health is going to be so good. Will they add any offense in the offseason, though? 2 73-74

18

Mets

Jeff McNeil’s home run — that ended up being a game-winner Sunday — was his first since Aug. 1. 2 73-77

19

Angels

Look, I love Vlad Jr. as much as anyone, but I’m seeing far too much discussion about the MVP going to someone other than the guy pitching like an All-Star, hitting over 40 homers and stealing over 20 bases. C’mon. 1 72-77

20

Tigers

The Tigers have been good for a pretty sizable portion of the season, believe it or not. They are 63-54 since May 7. 1 72-78

21

Rockies

The Rockies have been good for a decent portion of the season, believe it or not. They are 39-32 since June 27. Consider the Tigers and Rockies the best “bad” team, respectively, in each league, in a blowout. 1 70-79

22

Royals

Remember back when I was tracking how the Royals had the lowest single-season franchise record in home runs? It was Steve Balboni’s 36 from 1985 until 2017. They had Mike Moustakas break it that year with 38. Jorge Soler then hit 48 in 2019 and Salvador Perez is currently at 45. Might he be the third Royals player to set the franchise record in the past four full seasons? 67-82

23

Cubs

The franchise record for home runs by a rookie used to belong to Kris Bryant, but now it’s Patrick Wisdom. 67-83

24

Marlins

Sandy Alcantara now has a 3.05 ERA and 1.06 WHIP in 194 2/3 innings. Along with Trevor Rogers, the Marlins look to have two frontline starters heading to 2022 along with pitchers like Pablo Lopez, Jesus Luzardo, Sixto Sánchez and Zach Thompson, the Marlins might well have a very strong rotation. 1 63-86

25

Twins

Rocco Baldelli won division titles in his first two seasons as Twins manager. Will he get fired after his third season? 1 65-85

26

Nationals

Juan Soto is hitting .315/.459/.531 and has walked 124 times compared to 83 strikeouts. He’s still only 22 years old. Let’s not take for granted just how amazing he is with a bat in his hands. 61-88

27

Pirates

The Pirates have 93 losses. Their next one will make this their most losses in a season since 2010. 1 56-93

28

Rangers

Adolis Garcia might’ve been the bright spot in an otherwise forgettable year. But he’s hitting just .206/.258/.381 since the All-Star break. Uh oh. 1 55-94

29

Diamondbacks

The Diamondbacks have picked first overall in the draft twice before. Justin Upton in 2005 and Dansby Swanson in 2015. Will they make it a third or will the Orioles out-futility them? 48-101

30

Orioles

Cedric Mullins has 29 homers and 30 steals. No Baltimore Orioles player has ever gone 30-30. The one entrant in the franchise was Ken Williams of the 1922 St. Louis Browns. 47-102

September full moon: See the harvest moon shine in the night sky tonight

The full moon known as the harvest moon, as it traditionally gave farmers more time to harvest their summer-grown crops into the night, will make its appearance Monday night soon after sunset.

Appearing two days before the autumnal equinox this year, the full moon can first be seen at 7:55 p.m. ET, 17 minutes after sunset, according to NASA.
During the few days surrounding the harvest moon’s appearance, the moonrise will occur within just 25 to 30 minutes across the northern United States and only 10 to 20 minutes in farther north Canada and Europe, according to NASA.
Typically, the moon rises around sunset and about 50 minutes later each day, according to EarthSky. But when a full moon occurs near an autumn equinox, like the harvest moon, the moon rises closer to the time of sunset, creating a dusk-till-dawn moonlight for several nights in a row.
This year’s harvest moon will be the last of the summer season for those living in the Northern Hemisphere, while for those in the Southern Hemisphere it will be the fourth winter full moon, according to EarthSky.

The harvest moon may seem bigger and brighter than other full moons, and that’s because this moon is physically closer to the horizon. The location of this moon gives the illusion of largeness, despite not being any bigger than other full moons.

Another quirk to the harvest moon is its color — it may look especially orange. That’s also due to the fact that the harvest moon is closer to the horizon, which creates a greater thickness of Earth’s atmosphere creating an orange hue, according to EarthSky.

It’s been a year of unusual celestial activity, with a rare third full moon, known as a Blue Moon, making an appearance in late August. Typically, it’s more common for a season to have three full moons, however this year there will be four that occur in just one season alone, between the June solstice and September equinox.

Upcoming sky schedule

Throughout the remainder of 2021, you might be able to catch these space and sky events depending on your location.

The full moons and their names, according to The Old Farmer’s Almanac:

• September 20: harvest moon

• October 20: hunter’s moon

• November 19: beaver moon

• December 18: cold moon

Meteor showers, according to EarthSky’s 2021 meteor shower guide:

• October 8: Draconids

• October 21: Orionids

• November 4-5: South Taurids

• November 11-12: North Taurids

• November 17: Leonids

• December 13-14: Geminids

• December 22: Ursids

Solar and lunar eclipses, according to The Old Farmer’s Almanac:

• November 19: A partial eclipse of the moon, which people in North America and Hawaii will see between 1 a.m. Eastern time and 7:06 a.m. Eastern time.

• December 4: A total eclipse visible for those in the Falkland Islands, the southern tip of Africa, Antarctica and southeastern Australia.

When planets will be visible

Skywatchers will have multiple opportunities to spot the planets during certain mornings and evenings throughout the rest of 2021, according to the Farmer’s Almanac planetary guide.

Seeing most of these — except Neptune — with the naked eye is possible, but binoculars or a telescope will provide the best view.

Mercury will appear as a bright star in the morning sky from October 18 to November 1. It will shine in the night sky until September 21, and November 29 to December 31.

Venus, our closest neighbor in the solar system, will appear in the western sky at dusk in the evenings through December 31. It’s the second-brightest object in our sky, after the moon.

Mars makes its reddish appearance in the morning sky between November 24 and December 31.

Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, is the third-brightest object in our sky. Look for it in the evenings from now until December 31.

Saturn’s rings are only visible through a telescope, but the planet itself can still be seen with the naked eye in the evenings until December 31.

Binoculars or a telescope will help you spot the greenish glow of Uranus in the mornings through November 3 and in the evenings from November 4 to December 31. It will be at its brightest now until December 31.

And our most distant neighbor in the solar system, Neptune, will be visible through a telescope in the evenings now until December 31. It will be at its brightest until November 8.

Ravens’ Lamar Jackson leads major victory over Chiefs, snaps Patrick Mahomes’ September win streak

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and a key defensive play held the team defeat the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, ending Patrick Mahomes’ winning streak in the month of September.

Jackson’s play in the fourth quarter proved to be the big difference in the 36-35 victory.

The quarterback ran for a 2-yard touchdown with 14:13 to play in the game. The Baltimore defense would step up and force the Chiefs to punt on their next drive.

Jackson followed up by running and flipping into the end zone to put the Ravens ahead by a point.

Baltimore needed a step and it looked like they weren’t going to get one. Three plays in and Mahomes had the Chiefs’ offense on the Baltimore 32-yard line with 2 minutes to go in the game. It appeared the team was getting ready to wind the clock down and line up for a potential game-winning field goal.

Then, the improbable happened.

Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire fumbled the ball and it was recovered by Odafe Oweh.

ALEJANDRO VILLANUEVA’S QUOTE ON COMPARING PLAYING TACKLE TO ARMY EXPERIENCE RESURFACES DURING RAVENS GAME

The Ravens needed a first down to keep the drive alive and seal the game. John Harbaugh left the decision up to Jackson.

The Ravens went for the first on fourth down and Jackson pushed through and helped Baltimore get the victory.

Jackson was 18-for-26 with 239 passing yards, a passing touchdown and two interceptions, including a Pick Six to Tyrann Mathieu to start the game. He managed to run for 107 yards on the ground with the two fourth-quarter touchdowns. It’s also his first win against the Chiefs.

Marquise Brown was responsible for the lone touchdown catch. He had six catches for 113 yards.

It is Mahomes’ first loss in the month of September. He had come into the game 11-0 in September with 35 touchdown passes and no interceptions. On Sunday, he was 24-for-31 with 343 passing yards, three touchdown passes and a bad interception to Tavon Young.

Mahomes had a big 46-yard touchdown pass to Travis Kelce. The big tight end broke a few tackles and had some key blocking on the scamper. Kelce led the Chiefs with seven catches for 109 yards and a touchdown. Byron Pringle and Demarcus Robinson also had touchdown catches.
