Footage of Kojima’s Rumoured Horror Game ‘Overdose’ Leaks Online

With the PlayStation VR 2 set to arrive next year on February 22, you’ll also be able to snag an enhanced version of Coatsink’s Jurassic World Aftermath Collection as a launch title. Previously available on the Oculus Quest (and coming this week to the Nintendo Switch) this new version will include both Part 1 and Part 2 of Jurassic World Aftermath in one complete package, as well as including several enhancements that will take advantage of the PSVR’s capabilities.

Set between the events of Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Jurassic World Aftermath Collection begins with players crash-landing on Isla Nublar after the fall of the Jurassic World theme park. Players soon find themselves trapped in an abandoned research facility when their mission to recover valuable information goes disastrously wrong. To survive, they’ll need to explore and solve puzzles, while evading the various carnivorous dinosaurs that roam the island.

This upgraded version of Jurassic World Aftermath will sport enhanced visuals and performance boosts, including improved lighting, better post-processing effects and faster load times, all aiming for 4K 90fps visuals. The game will also make use of 3D audio and the PSVR 2’s headset rumble to enhance the experience.

A new exclusive feature to this version of Jurassic World Aftermath is the Dino Viewer, which will allow players to take a closer look at the variety of dinosaurs encountered in the game.

Cops Allegedly Found 30+ Oxycodone Pills & +$70K Cash

Fox Sports journalist Andy Slater claims to have heard the news from “multiple sources.”

As we previously reported, rumours began swirling around online earlier today (July 15) that 25-year-old Kodak Black has been taken into police custody after being stopped by Florida Highway Patrol on the south side of the state. Now, more information has been coming out surrounding all the gossip, and according to The Sun, Yak was in possession of dozens of pills and nearly $75K in cash at the time of his arrest.

Troopers are said to have conducted a traffic stop around 4:30 PM local time this afternoon after noticing that Black’s vehicle windows were tinted darker than the legal limit.

At the same time, they noticed that not only was the vehicle’s registration expired, but so was the rapper’s license.

When they smelled marijuana coming from the car, a search was conducted, upon which 31 Oxycodone pills were uncovered, along with $74,960 in cash.

Currently, Yak is said to be hanging out at Broward County Jail; at this time, no further details have been made available.

This isn’t the Back For Everything artist’s first troublesome run-in with the law this year. On the first day of 2022 he was also arrested in Florida – this time for trespassing – though those charges were eventually dropped.

Afterward, Yak said he wanted to “stay out the hood” to keep himself out of trouble, and for several months he seemed to be on the right path, even hosting his first annual Kodak Black Day festival on his birthday a few weeks back – read more about that here, and tap back in with HNHH later for any updates on the Florida native’s reported arrest.

Rare’s Banjo-Kazooie Is Rumoured To Be Making A Comeback

Image: Nintendo

Rare’s Banjo-Kazooie – starring the bear and bird who made a name for themselves during the Nintendo 64 generation – is rumoured to be making a return.

In the latest episode of the Nate the Hate Nate the Hate podcast, game developer Modern Vintage Gamer suggested a revival could be on the way, based on some things he had been hearing around the industry.

Here’s exactly what he had to say (via VGC):

“I have spoken to a lot of people, and I’m not an insider, I’m a developer, but sometimes I hear things and I was at GDC earlier this year and there were some people talking about Banjo.

“I’ve heard that Banjo’s coming up for months now, from different people. Something’s happening with Banjo, what I can’t tell you is what that is.”

MVG doubled down in a follow-up comment, stating how he “feels pretty strongly” that something related to Banjo could be announced during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase later today (UK time).

The last entry in the series Banjo-Kazooie: Nutz & Boltz was released exclusively on the Xbox 360 in 2008, it was arguably a game that failed to live up to the legacy of the Nintendo 64 originals from 1998 and 2000.

Although the IP is now the property of Microsoft, as Nintendo Switch fans will know – the famous duo have returned on a number of occasions to Nintendo platforms. Three years ago, Banjo-Kazooie appeared as a DLC fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and earlier this year, the original Nintendo 64 classic got released on Nintendo’s Switch Online service.

Banjo-Kazooie isn’t the only old-school Rare game rumoured to be returning. There’s strong evidence that the classic first-person shooter GoldenEye 007 (originally released on the Nintendo 64 in 1997) is also getting revived. Some speculation has even led to theories about a possible Switch Online release of the original title.

Would you be interested in seeing the N64 icon Banjo-Kazooie return, even if a new game wasn’t announced for a Nintendo platform? Tell us down below.

Gears of War remastered collection rumoured to launch this year

A rumoured Gears of War remastered collection that’s said to be similar in scope to Halo: The Master Chief Collection could launch this year, according to an insider.

Back in January, XboxEra’s Nick Baker mentioned he’d heard that a Microsoft franchise was getting the “Master Chief Collection treatment”. At the time, Baker didn’t mention what the franchise was, but other journalists speculated it could be Gears of War.

Rumoured Gears of War remastered collection could launch in 2022

Now, on the latest episode of The XboxEra Podcast, Baker says that this remastered collection could launch this year. “There was a rumour mill a while back where I mentioned that there is another Microsoft franchise that’s getting the Master Chief Collection type treatment. I am of the belief that is coming this year. Maybe that’ll be an E3 announcement… the collection from a Microsoft franchise.

“Everyone’s guessed it. I’m not going to say it, but everyone’s guessed it. What makes me laugh though, is that if you go from November 2021 to November 2022 and you look at Microsoft’s big output, it could wind up being Halo, Gears, Forza.”

If Microsoft does have a remastered Gears of War collection up its sleeve, it would make sense to announce it during the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase and release it this year, especially now considering both Starfield and Redfall have been delayed to 2023. The first-party lineup from Xbox Game Studios is pretty barren for the rest of the year, and Microsoft will need something to keep Xbox fans satiated.

It’s of course worth taking this information with a pinch of salt until Microsft makes an official announcement.

What do you make of this rumour? Would you like to see a remastered Gears of War collection? Are you prepared for more Seriously achievements? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments.

Rumoured Marvel XCOM game could be announced later this month

A Marvel Xcom game could be on the way as 2K Games is set to announce a “new franchise” very soon.

Take-Two Interactive, the publisher’s parent company, recently held its quarterly earnings call where president Karl Slatoff told investors that “later this month, 2K will unveil details of another exciting new franchise planned for launch during this fiscal year.”

Earlier this summer, a post on Reddit revealed a handful of details about the company’s upcoming slate of games. One such detail claimed that Firaxis is working on a “turn-based action game using Marvel property”, with “famous actors voicing the characters”, which could mean that this is the game 2K are gearing up to announce. However, the list also discusses another title, Codename Volt, a project described in the leak as a “new action game.” This game is talked up in the leak as “Cthulu meets Saints Row,” but is reportedly only in the relatively early stages of development.

Some of the details on that list – including the existence of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and NBA 2K22’s cover star – have already been confirmed as accurate, lending extra credence to the two other titles that 2K could be gearing up to announce.

The suggestion that the reveal is coming later this month means that we won’t be waiting very long to find out what 2K has in store. With Gamescom 2021 set to take place towards the end of August, it seems pretty likely that the company could use Geoff Keighley’s Opening Night Live showcase on August 25 to show off its new game.

With the reveal just around the corner, Slatoff also confirmed that we won’t be waiting too long for the game itself, either. A release date set “during this fiscal year” means that whatever the company has up its sleeve will arrive on or before March 31, 2022, which is around eight months away.

While many of those leaked details have been corroborated or confirmed, it’s always worth remaining skeptical about posts of this nature until we get official confirmation from developers or publishers. It’s also worth remembering that Slatoff may not have been referring to either Firaxis’ project or Codename Volt, but we’ll find out one way or another very soon.

Random: PlayStation Fans Start Petition to Cancel Hideo Kojima’s Rumoured Xbox Game

Irate PlayStation fans have started a petition to cancel Hideo Kojima’s rumoured Xbox exclusive game, describing it as a “betrayal”. The amusing Change.org page insists that the industry veteran has been “blinded by greed” and must return to the “winning side”, after reports noted that Kojima Productions is on the cusp of signing a deal with Microsoft which would see it leverage the computing giant’s Azure servers to create a cloud-based experience.

“Not everyone has good enough Internet to stream games,” the petition reads. “Not everyone has enough money to buy a new console or build a new PC. Please Kojima, don’t leave us.” Unfortunately for the creator, the page doesn’t seem to be attracting a whole lot of attention: at the time of typing it’s only received around 70 signatures. “I’m signing just to point out how f*cking stupid you all are,” one commenter wrote.

It’s worth remembering that Kojima Productions is a fully independent studio and is free to work with any partners it pleases. Rumour has it that Hideo Kojima had planned to create a game for Stadia, before Google pulled the plug on its first-party projects. As such, it makes sense that he’d take those ideas to Microsoft, who have a similarly capable cloud infrastructure. After all, even Sony has announced a strategic partnership with the Windows giant – it’s all business at the end of the day!
