Channing Tatum and Sandra Bullock’s daughters had ‘altercation’ in preschool

“Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, please report to the principal’s office!”

During an appearance on the Late Late Show with James Corden Wednesday, the “Lost City” co-stars admitted they first met in the principal’s office of their daughter’s preschool.

“We have two very, very strong-willed little girls that, you know, at that young age were very much butting heads,” Tatum, 41, said after Corden asked about their pair’s first introduction.

Sandra — mom to son Louis, 12, and daughter Laila, 10 — said that she would always answer the phone hoping to hear it was Channing’s daughter, Everly, 8, who started the fight.

Channing laughed adding, “I would be like, ‘Of all the people…of all the people to fight with her daughter!’”

Tatum and Bullock joked with Corden about their special bond through a shared “stupidity”.

Bullock added that the principal handled the situation well and tried to resolve the constant “altercations” with a challenge of “who can be the nicest to the other one.”

“So they would start bringing each other little Dixie cups of water,” Bullock laughed when talking about how the two girls tried to mend their relationship.

When Corden asked if the two were in the principal’s office “pretending not to be huge movie stars” the two laughed and acknowledged that they had at least seen each other at awards shows.

In an interview with People, the 57-year-old actress said the two girls have moved on from their preschool days and actually became friends while shooting “The Lost City.”

The “Miss Congeniality” star announced last week this might be her last project for a while, as she hopes to prioritize spending time with her kids.

Bullock adopted Laila in 2015 and son, Louis, in 2010.

“I take my job very seriously when I’m at work,” Bullock told Entertainment Tonight. “I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family.”

Sandra Bullock And Channing Tatum Met In Principal’s Office After Daughters Fought

Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum had real-life drama long before they co-starred in the new action-adventure movie “The Lost City.” (Watch the video below.)

The two, as they told it, were called into a preschool principal’s office because their daughters were fighting each other. The school simply wanted to know how the kids could arrive at a detente.

“We have two very very strong-willed little girls … very much buttin’ heads,” Tatum explained on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on Wednesday.

One day after what Bullock said was another “altercation,” she got a call from the school and wondered whether she would have to contact Tatum or his ex-wife Jenna Dewan to yet again deal with the clashing kids.

But the school arrived at a novel solution: challenging the two girls with a competition to see who could be the nicest to the other.

“So they were like bringing each other little Dixie cups of water,” Bullock said.

Bullock’s daughter Laila and Tatum’s daughter Everly are now a few grades beyond preschool, so maybe their rivalry is finally water under the bridge.

Meanwhile, the two actors have arrived at their own level of friendship with a shared “level of stupidity,” Bullock said.

Florida woman Kiara Morant plows through preschool playground, killing child

A 4-year-old girl is dead and a 5-year-old girl is in serious condition after a driver plowed through a preschool playground in Florida on Wednesday.

Kiara Morant, 18, was driving an SUV around 4:30 p.m. when she crashed into a fenced playground area where the two girls were playing at the Imagination Station Learning Center Preschool in Arcadia, about 90 miles southeast of Tampa.

Maleena Valdez, 4, was identified as the child who died, as a GoFundMe campaign was started for the pre-schooler, her family confirmed to FOX 13.

“All she was doing was playing in the playground. We just want her back. We want her back,” Josephine Valdez, the grandmother of the girl who was killed, told FOX 13 Tampa.

According to a crash report, Morant — who did not have a valid driver’s license — was traveling on East Magnolia Street in a Jeep Cherokee when she drove over a raised concrete curb, hit a street sign, crossed the sidewalk, and crashed into a chain-link fence at the corner of the preschool.

Troopers said the Jeep then drove into the playground, where it struck several other wooden-support posts and playground equipment. The two girls who were playing in that area were struck by the vehicle, which eventually stopped after crashing into a tree.

The 4-year-old girl was taken to Gulf Coast Hospital where she died, while the 5-year-old girl was taken to DeSoto Memorial Hospital in serious condition.

“We said our last goodbye to her last night, holding her hand. Just begging, please come back. Please don’t go,” Valdez said, according to FOX 13.

Morant, who had minor injuries following the crash, was arrested for not having a valid driver’s license. Morant bonded out of jail before the child died, troopers said, noting she could face additional charges.

“Right now this driver faces several felony charges, just based simply upon the fact that she was not properly licensed,” Trooper Ken Watson told FOX 13. “Flat out should not have been behind the wheel at the time.”

A memorial with balloons and toys was set up outside the playground following the deadly crash.

The incident remains under investigation, authorities said.
