Katharine McPhee has sold her renovated Hollywood Hill abode, and make a healthy profit.

A month after putting the lavish home on the market for $2.7 million, the singer, 37, has sold the pad for $3.27 million according to TMZ, making over a $1million profit after paying $2 million for the home five years ago.

The four-bedroom, four-bathroom home was originally built in 1930 for silent film star Agnes Ayres. Katharine oversaw several renovations for the home, which boasts 3,527 square feet of living space.

Sold! Katharine McPhee has sold her renovated Hollywood Hill abode, and make a healthy profit. A month after putting the lavish home on the market for $2.7 million, the singer, 37, has sold the pad for $3.27 million

The listing comes just months after Katharine and her husband David Foster, 72, splashed out $7.1 million for a teardown home in the exclusive Brentwood Park neighborhood.

Katharine brought her Hollywood Hills home in 2017, around the time she started dating her now husband.

The three-story Hollywood Hills abode features oak floors, colorful mosaic tile, wood-beam ceilings and skylights.

The unusual exterior is accentuated with a soaring stone turret that features a Gothic-arch wood front door.

Moving on: The listing comes just months after Katharine and her husband David Foster, 72, splashed out $7.1 million for a teardown home in the exclusive Brentwood Park neighborhood (pictured earlier this month)

Home: The four-bedroom, four-bathroom home was originally built in 1930 for silent film star Agnes Ayres. Katharine oversaw several renovations for the home, which boasts 3,527 square feet of living space

Once inside, the entrance opens into a tiled foyer that leads into a sunken living room, in which the centerpiece is a whitewashed stone fireplace along with an adjacent sitting area that overlooks the stunning outdoor grounds.

The main level also includes a formal dining room with French doors that lead out to a terrace, perfect for indoor outdoor living.

The gourmet kitchen features stunning quartz marble countertops, along with custom cabinetry with Italian hardware and high-end Viking appliances.

An ensuite guest bedroom with the original wainscoting can also be found on this floor.

Sunny spot: The vas kitchen includes a spacious breakfast nook with windows looking out onto the grounds

Terrace: The exterior includes a shaded terrace while a courtyard is ideal for al fresco dining with a built-in barbecue and fireplace

The second level features two more bedrooms – one with a primary suite featuring a fireplace, dual walk-in closets, luxe updated bath, soaking tub and glass-encased shower, with the other bedroom featuring a balcony and a sunroom.

Other lower level features include a family room with a wet bar, doors that lead to a motorcourt featuring a two-car garage, plus a fourth ensuite bedroom with its own entrance that could also double as a gym.

As for the outdoors, a courtyard is ideal for al fresco dining with a built-in barbecue and fireplace, and an open-air pavilion holds a fireside lounge area. There’s also a lush tree-lined backyard hosting a grassy lawn with plenty of room for a pool.

Katharine will now call Brentwood home, after she and David laid down just over $7 million for a  six bedroom five bedroom property in May 2021.

The couple, who welcomed their first child together last year, won’t be moving into the vast 4,052-square-foot house though after they filed plans for a building permit with the city of Los Angeles shortly after the purchase which allows them to raze the entire residence that presently occupies the land.

They are planning to build a 7,449 square foot mansion in its place.

The couple are thought to be living in Foster’s LA condo while the work is carried out, a property the music producer bought in 2015.

The Power Of The Dog on Netflix

Here’s what’s happening in the world of television for Wednesday, December 1. All times are Eastern.

Top pick

The Power Of The Dog (Netflix, 3:01 a.m.): “Westerns have been deconstructing toxic masculinity for ages. The Thomas Savage novel on which The Power Of The Dog is based got there way back in 1967. But [director] Jane Campion approaches the task with a sensual touch few of her peers possess—and with an equally uncommon understanding of where humanity’s darkest and most transcendent impulses intersect. In The Power Of The Dog, ordinary life is a soap bubble that can burst at the slightest touch. Campion’s films frequently use families to explore the commingling of personal and political violence, and The Power Of The Dog fits this mold.” Here is Katie Rife’s complete review of the film, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, and Kodi Smit-McPhee.

Regular coverage

Hawkeye (Disney+, 3:01 a.m.)
It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia (FXX, 10 p.m., season 15 premiere): The comedy returns after a two-year break with a two-episode premiere, titled “2020: A Year In Review” and “The Gang Makes Lethal Weapon 7.” Two new episodes will air every Wednesday until the season finale on December 22. Dennis Perkins will recap.
DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow (The CW, 8 p.m.): In lieu of a regular episode, Legends ups the game with a holiday special called Beebo Saves Christmas. The cast additions include Chris Kattan, Yvette Nicole Brown, Keith Ferguson, while Victor Garber returns to narrate the hour. Keep an eye out for Sam Barsanti’s coverage of the episode

Wild cards

Zoey’s Extraordinary Christmas (Roku, 3:01 a.m.): NBC’s loss is Roku’s gain. The broadcast network canceled Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist earlier this year after two seasons, but Roku snatched it up for a one-off holiday special. The film picks up after the finale, as Zoey (Jane Levy) navigates her familial and romantic relationships. The musical dramedy also stars Mary Steenburgen, Skylar Astin, Alex Newell, Peter Gallagher, and Bernadette Peters. Meanwhile, both seasons of Zoey’s are available for a free and heartwarming binge on Roku.

Lost In Space (Netflix, 3:01 a.m.): In the third and final season of this sci-fi drama, the stakes are higher than ever for the Robinson family. After a year of being trapped on a mysterious planet, they must lead the 97 young Colonists in a harrowing evacuation. John (Toby Stephens) and Maureen (Molly Parker) battle overwhelming odds as they try to reunite with their kids. The cast includes Taylor Russell, Mina Sundwall, and Douglas Hodge. Season three consists of eight episodes.

Fruitcake Fraud (Discovery+, 3:01 a.m.): Enjoy your holiday celebration with a side of notorious fraud. This Discovery+ true-crime special covers the case of husband and wife Sandy and Kay Jenkins, who embezzled over $17 million in a decade from the Collin Street Bakery in Corsicana, Texas, where Sandy worked as an accountant. The bakery is known for its fruitcakes, selling up to 20,000 per day during the holiday season. The 90-minute special traces how the duo were able to go undetected for several years, and how the case baffled the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s office once it was revealed.

Katharine McPhee reveals she had to ‘process’ 35-year age gap with husband David Foster

Katharine McPhee will be celebrating her two-year wedding anniversary with husband David Foster in June but before the couple tied the knot, the actress had some doubts.

The major hurdle McPhee, 36, said she had to over overcome was her large age difference with the Grammy-winner, 71. There are 35 years between them.

The singer admitted she was nervous about what people would say.

“We all have the ability to label things and to look at something for the way that it looks or face value and make a judgment,” said on Monday’s episode of Dr. Berlin’s Informed Pregnancy Podcast. “So I totally get the judgment initially, but things are never as they appear, things are never exactly as they appear and I’m in love with our love story and that’s all that matters.”

“We had a real journey and I had a real process,” McPhee said of their relationship, which started out as a friendship.

The couple first met in 2006 when McPhee was a contestant on the fifth season of “American Idol” and Foster was a mentor on the singing competition series.

“The Waitress” star explained of their age gap, “It took me a while to kind of come around to really want to have a real, serious relationship because I was very concerned with what people would think.”

“The perception of what people try to create, especially with women, it’s always the woman’s fault,” she added.

“It’s the woman who wants to be with the older man because he has money and he’s had success and she wants this, that,” McPhee reflected. “I mean, our story’s been the complete opposite.”

KATHARINE MCPHEE GUSHES OVER ‘EASY’ MARRIAGE TO HUSBAND DAVID FOSTER

McPhee previously told the “TODAY” show that she “always just admired [David] and loved him and he’s always been so great to people around him. He can be intimidating when he really needs to be for his work, but he’s really lovely.”

When asked what he loves about McPhee, Foster responded, “Her singing, first of all. I mean where do I start the inner beauty, the outer beauty, and we have been friends for 14 years, and it was just kind of a natural coming together.”

Katharine McPhee, 36, hits back at troll who claimed she married David Foster, 71, for his money

Katharine McPhee hit back at trolls who claimed she’s only married to husband David Foster for his money.

The singer, 36, took to Instagram on Sunday to wish her other half, 71, a happy Valentine’s Day, but while she was delighted to celebrate the occasion some critics felt it necessary to troll her over their age difference.

The throwback photo of herself with David showed them enjoying a day at the beach, and she looked stunning in a red bikini as he kissed her neck.

‘Obviously!’ Katharine McPhee, 36, hit back at a troll who claimed she only married husband David Foster, 71, for his money after she shared sweet Valentine’s Day tribute on Sunday

She wrote: ‘My forever Valentine!! My best friend, my favorite person, my motivator, my everyday! @davidfoster I looove you cookie. #happyvalentinesday’

However, one troll hit out at her writing: ‘There for the money’, in response Katharine simply responded ‘obviously’.

It wasn’t all negative, though, as David’s daughter Erin shared an amusing comment that the photo was ‘a little sexual for me, but cute’, which amused Katharine as she responded with laughing emojis.

In another exchange, one fan of Katharine told her: ‘Bet you posted this photo crying for your body and missing it.’

She told them that she wasn’t ‘cuz I’m wearing red’, but a different fan criticised the commenter for their remark about her figure, slamming them for their ‘awful and stupid’ message that they saw as body shaming.

The first fan claimed they hadn’t shared the comment to ‘make her feel bad’, and Katharine reassured them that they hadn’t as she wrote back: ‘I actually got it. I liked the comment.’

McPhee officially confirmed her pregnancy on Instagram in December with a mirror selfie of her baby bump wrapped in a baby blue overcoat, which she wore off one shoulder.

She appeared to hint that she’s having a boy, not only with the color of the coat, but with a blue butterfly emoji framed by two blue heart emojis in the caption.

The House Bunny actress first hinted at her pregnancy in October, taking to her Instagram Story with a gift from Italian aperitif brand Aperol.

Mom-to-be: A source told People in October that she and Foster are expecting their first child together (pictured in November, 2019)

She said in the unboxing video: ‘I won’t be drinking this for a while. Wink, wink. But I’m so excited.’

It came just days after a source told People that she and Foster were expecting their first child together.

Another insider told Us Weekly in August, that the couple was ‘definitely trying’ for a baby, and his daughters ‘fully expect [McPhee] to have a child and fully support it.’

Foster has five daughters from previous relationships, including Allison, 50, Amy, 47, Sara, 40, Erin, 38, and Jordan, 34.
