Country singer Morgan Wallen apologizes for saying N-word in leaked video: ‘I’m embarrassed and sorry’

Country singer Morgan Wallen has issued an apology after a video surfaced showing him using the N-word.

“I’m embarrassed and sorry,” Wallen, 27, said in a statement shared with Fox News.

“I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back. There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better,” he continued.

Wallen’s remorse comes after TMZ posted a video of the “Wasted On You” singer’s return home on Sunday night with a group of friends. The clip shows Wallen walking up his driveway as he refers to one of his friends as the N-word and uses other profanities.

The country star and his pals were reportedly out in Nashville before returning to his home around midnight. TMZ reports the group was caught on camera by a neighbor who woke up to the noise of their conversation, as well as honking horns.

This isn’t the first time the entertainer has been forced to apologize after being the subject of leaked footage. In the fall of 2020, the 27-year-old was blocked from a scheduled performance on “Saturday Night Live” after a video surfaced of Wallen at a crowded party without a mask amid the coronavirus pandemic.

He called the show’s decision to pull him from the performance “tough” but “necessary.”

“I respect the show’s decision because I know that I put them in jeopardy,” Wallen continued. “I take ownership of this. I’d like to apologize to ‘SNL,’ to my fans, to my team for bringing me these opportunities and I let them down.”

MORGAN WALLEN PULLED FROM PERFORMING ON ‘SNL’ AFTER SINGER BROKE ‘COVID PROTOCOLS’

He was, however, invited back two months later to perform on the show.

And back in May 2020, the “Whiskey Glasses” crooner was arrested after being kicked out of Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville.

According to The Tennessean, after Wallen was kicked out of the bar, he began getting into verbal fights with passersby on the streets, which officers watched. After reportedly refusing to walk away with his friends when given the opportunity by police, they determined Wallen was “a danger to himself and the public” and took him into custody.

“Hey y’all just wanted to clear the air. I went out downtown last night with a few old friends,” Wallen tweeted after the incident. “After a couple bar stops, we were horse-playing with each other. We didn’t mean any harm, and we want to say sorry to any bar staff or anyone that was affected.”

Last July, Wallen welcomed a son, Indigo Wilder, with his ex KT Smith. Amid his headline-making year, the country singer admitted he has “some growing up to do.”

“I think I’ve lost myself a little bit. I’ve tried to find joy in the wrong places and it’s left me with less joy,” he said. “So I’mma go try to work on that. I’m gonna take a step back from the spotlight for a while and go work on myself.”

WandaVision Has A Huge Cameo Elizabeth Olsen Can’t Believe Hasn’t Leaked

WandaVision has a shocking secret MCU cameo coming in a future episode that Elizabeth Olsen can’t believe hasn’t already leaked online.

WandaVision has a huge secret cameo that Elizabeth Olsen can’t believe hasn’t leaked. After COVID-related delays, the MCU’s Phase 4 has finally arrived, and WandaVision is its first offering. The Disney+ series premiered in the middle of January and immediately plunged audiences into the picture-perfect sitcom world of Westview. Newly married couple Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) have finally achieved domestic bliss, but not everything is as it seems. Outside of Westview, the MCU’s latest defense organization SWORD, is hard at work trying to figure out just what is happening to Wanda.

WandaVision has so far dropped four episodes with five more on the way, and it’s only going to get wilder from here. So little is known about what’s coming next on WandaVision that fans are bracing themselves for some massive surprises, and that might be for a good reason. After all, the last major Disney+ series to release a new season, The Mandalorian, ended its sophomore run with the jaw-dropping arrival of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). This moment instantly went down in fandom history and was somehow kept a secret right up until airing.

Though The Mandalorian and WandaVision are two very different entities, they might have something in common: Shocking cameos. While talking to TVLine about what’s to come on WandaVision, Olsen was asked if there’s a shocking cameo that she’s surprised hasn’t leaked yet, and she said, “Yes.” She, of course, could not provide further details, though she added, “I’m really excited.”

Olsen’s teased WandaVision cameo could most likely be the same as the secret actor Bettany has referenced in interviews multiple times. Bettany got the chance to work with someone he’s always wanted to on WandaVision, though their identity remains a secret. Provided they are the same, it sounds like WandaVision‘s mystery performer could be a familiar MCU actor. Here’s where the speculation begins.

As with any Marvel project, fans have often theorized about which characters could appear in various projects, and WandaVision is no exception. Keeping in mind that Bettany hasn’t worked with this performer yet and that their arrival would have to be on the same level as Luke appearing on The Mandalorian, there might be a few options for who it could be. Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange is a popular choice since WandaVision is said to lead into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. That would undoubtedly leave fans’ jaws on the floor, though it could also just as easily be someone else. Perhaps Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury – who appeared to be working for SWORD when last fans saw him – could be eligible for WandaVision‘s surprising cameo. There are many possibilities, and fans will have to wait and see who it could be.

Canceled Xbox 360 GoldenEye remaster has been leaked online

Gameplay for the canceled remaster of 007’s GoldenEye has been leaked online in a two-hour-long video.

As spotted by VGC, the entire game, from the start of the Dam through to the end credits, has been shared on YouTube, giving us a look at what a GoldenEye port could have looked like.

The Xbox 360 port of the classic Nintendo game was allegedly going to be released through Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Live Arcade. For various rights reasons, it was canceled despite being, as you can see from the video, basically finished in its entirety.

GoldenEye was supposedly going to be published by Microsoft in partnership with Activision, after reaching a deal with Nintendo to completely remaster the legendary game from the original N64 version released in 1997. Ultimately, the project was scrapped.

As you can see from the video, the whole game looks completely playable. Considering how many rights issues seem to be involved in the game, it wouldn’t be surprising if the gameplay footage was eventually taken offline.

The video description explains that the footage was captured by using an emulator. “Footage of the cancelled GoldenEye XBLA remake from 2007, full game on 00 Agent”, reads the description of the video on YouTube.

The game was first leaked in 2008, but now is the first time we’ve seen so much of the project. According to Microsoft boss Phil Spencer, Xbox has always been looking to bring GoldenEye back, but in 2015 Spencer tweeted and subsequently destroyed any hopes of seeing the game remastered.

His tweet reads: “GoldenEye rights are so challenging, looked at this many times. Lots of different parties to work with, we’ve always given up.”

Until now, the only way to play the original GoldenEye is on the N64, but there are modern alternatives like the fan-made GoldenEye: Source which has recreated the multiplayer mode.

But if you’re looking for more James Bond, you can take comfort in knowing that IO Interactive, the studio behind the Hitman series, is currently hard at work making Project 007 for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Rockstar Games’ Unannounced Game Reportedly Leaked By Employee

A longtime Rockstar Games employee has accidentally hinted at the studio’s next project, and it might not be Grand Theft Auto 6.+

An employee at Rockstar Games might have just leaked information about an unannounced game, prompting a firestorm of speculation over the weekend. It has been known for some time that the beloved developer of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 has a new project in the works, but Rockstar has remained silent about what it could be.

The most requested title from fans has been Grand Theft Auto VI, as the internet has been rife with rumors and speculation regarding the next installment of the studio’s famous open-world crime franchise. From data mining games like Grand Theft Auto Online and Red Dead Redemption 2 for hidden GTA VI easter eggs to map rumors speculating on the game’s setting, players waiting for the next GTA experience have been hanging onto every scrap of information possibly signaling that the sequel is on the way. However, Rockstar has tried to assure fans that it’s going to be some time before GTA VI arrives, and a recent leak from inside the company suggests that its next game might be something else altogether.

Rockstar has indeed been preparing itself for new projects over the past few months, as it recently acquired Crackdown 2 developer Ruffian games back in October. In the meantime, Rockstar has enjoyed a successful year in 2020 thanks to Grand Theft Auto Online, which saw a record-breaking uptick in players due to such events as a spontaneous in-game alien gang war and the Epic Games Store offering up Grand Theft Auto V for free back in May.

Still, Rockstar Games is looking to the future as it continues this wave of success well into 2021, but it seems to remain keen on keeping its upcoming plans under wraps for the time being. Although Gander’s short-lived leak revealed virtually nothing about what the company has in store for fans, the idea of the titan of the gaming industry having new experiences in the works aside from the expected Grand Theft Auto VI is an exciting prospect, especially if the game in question turns out to be a return to one of the studio’s more neglected franchises.

Motorola edge s looks sharp in leaked official image

Tipster Ankit has posted what looks like the official teaser for the forthcoming Motorola edge s.

The phone, which is apparently internally known as the Motorola Nio, will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip. The handset was recently spotted on the benchmarking website AnTuTu and its score is consistent with expectations: ahead of Snapdragon 865-powered handsets but slightly below Snapdragon 888 flagships.
The edge s will be unveiled on January 26 in China and it is believed that it will use the G moniker in international markets.
Today’s image is in line with hands-on photos that emerged not too long ago and are further confirmation that the back of the phone has a squarish bump for the camera setup, which seemingly consists of a 64MP primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide unit, a 2MP depth module, and a laser autofocus system.

The poster shows both the previously leaked white variant, which will apparently be marketed as ‘Sky,’ and the blue edition which will be known as ‘Beryl.’

According to previous reports, the Motorola edge s will feature a 6.7-inches Full-HD + screen with a refresh rate of at least 90Hz. The phone will apparently feature dual selfie cameras (16MP and 8MP), which will be housed in a pinhole. Instead of going for an in-display fingerprint reader, the phone will supposedly stick to a side-mounted one.

The handset will reportedly flaunt a 5,000mAh battery and 20W fast charging, and it will run Android 11 right out the gate. Rumors also indicate 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM options, and 128GB and 256GB storage variants.
