That Rohit Shetty is a workaholic is known. The man who recently delivered the blockbuster ‘Sooryavanshi’ has obviously been invited to the Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal wedding, but the latest we hear is that he is not going for it. Reason? He is already in Ooty on the sets of his next directorial ‘Cirkus’ starring Ranveer Singh. The production of the film is being jointly done by Rohit Shetty Picturez, T-Series, and Reliance Entertainment.
Rohit’s team left around November 30 and now he, too, has reached the shoot site. A source says, “It’s about a 10-12 day schedule in Ooty. Rohit had earmarked every single detail to commence in this schedule much before; he is one of those who will never throw things out of gear”.
That Katrina, who worked with Rohit in ‘Sooryavanshi’ starring Akshay Kumar, must be disappointed over Rohit not being able to make it, is obvious. The film which hit theatres on November 5 is now about to touch the Rs 200 crore mark.
Who knows, a lot of guests who were earlier supposed to make it might not be a part of the celebrations in Jaipur due to the fear of the Omicron outbreak.

Ahead of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s big day, the actress’ brother has touched down in the city just in time to get the celebrations started.
A photo of Sebastien Laurent Michel’s post from his private Instagram handle has been doing the rounds on fan sites. Sharing the picture of his cocktail glass with the Mumbai skyline in the background, he wrote, “India feeds the soul; debauchery in a different environment”.
The picture appears to be taken from Katrina’s balcony at her Andheri West flat.
Michel’s arrival comes in just days ahead of Kat’s royal wedding set to take place in Rajasthan on December 9. According to reports, the couple has booked Six Senses resort in Sawai Madhopur for their wedding celebrations that will commence on December 7.
ETimes reported that the 120 odd guests have all been given a secret code to enter the premises. No guest will be allowed to use their phones at the wedding and also won’t be allowed to take photographs or videos of the celebrations.
While the couple have kept mum about the big day, the district collector of Sawai Madhopur confirmed that the celebrity wedding will be taking place this week and held an administrative meeting on Friday to decipher the law and order situation.
The latest reports suggest that double vaccination certificates and RT-PCR tests are mandatory for all guests attending the wedding.
