Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will offer significantly improved portrait videos
Even though the launch of the Galaxy S23 series is a week away from today, there is little that we don’t know about it. Samsung hasn’t been able to plug the leaks, and as a result, almost all Galaxy S23 specifications have leaked over the past couple of months. Today, we also got to know that Samsung is bringing improved video quality with its upcoming high-end phones.
Tipster Ice Universe has revealed that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature significantly improved portrait video quality. According to the tipster, the South Korean firm’s next flagship smartphone can record portrait videos in 4K 30fps. That’s a lot better than the 1080p 30fps videos that the Galaxy S22 Ultra can capture. It was also revealed a few days ago that the Galaxy S23 series could record 8K 30fps videos (limited to 3K 24fps in Galaxy S22).
The rumor claims that Samsung has improved not only resolution but also background separation and background blur quality in the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s portrait video mode. It is still unclear whether all these improvements are limited to just the Galaxy S23 Ultra or if other models in the lineup also have better portrait videos.
The tipster also revealed that the Galaxy S23 Ultra also features a good heat management system for a relatively good sustained performance. All the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra units sold worldwide will feature an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and it will be called the ‘Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform For Galaxy.’
