Woman’s Impressive Attempt to Carry Drinks From the Swim-Up Bar Is Going Viral

© Provided by WanderWisdom

Now this is someone who knows the meaning of dedication.

One of the classic parts of any tropical resort is the swim-up bar in the pool. Why get out of the pool to get your drink on when you can literally just swim up to the bar? Of course, trying to swimming while holding multiple drinks is often easier said than done.

Vlogger @georgiaakingg02 was at a surprisingly deep swim-up bar at a hotel in Dubai. Despite the difficult of swimming through deep water with hands full of drinks, Georgia was determined to bring the booze back to her buds.

View the original article to see embedded media.

LOL! That’s trooper behavior right there. If a drop of that nasty pool water makes it into her drinks, it’s all over. But Georgia is no quitter, and despite her sudden plunge, she managed to tread back up and transport the drinks unscathed! That’s one chick who doesn’t let the party down!

Garnering millions of views, the video went viral because- well, let’s face it, anyone who’s ever tried to swim away from a pool bar with multiple drinks in hand can relate to her struggle. Georgia’s viewers were applauding her for heroic and successful efforts to bring home the booze. “She understood the assignment,” remarked @_thisbeme. “She’s got her priorities in order. There’s hope in future generations,” @tonysmokes1 applauded. “Sacrifice oxygen for the drinks!” laughed @s_k_u_l_l_s.

Frankly, all of her swimming struggles could likely have been avoiding with slightly better pool design. “Who puts a deep end by the pool bar,” wondered @rsshawn2021- good question. While it might not have been a super-deep dip, it clearly dropped off more than she expected! There’s danger that lurks in those waters, too… “Lesson 1- never put your face under water near a swim up bar,” quipped @schu174. Yuck… the less we think about that, the better. It just goes to make us appreciate her commitment to her mission all the more!

Overclocked PS4 shows fairly impressive benchmark numbers

User 0-BLANK-0 over at Reddit has shared a screenshot of their PS4 running the Unigine Heaven Benchmark, with the (Slim) console’s CPU overclocked at 2.4GHz.

PS4 Slim running at 150% clock speed

The base PS4’s CPU typically runs at 1.6GHz, with the PS4 Pro running at 2GHz. On their screenshot, the tinkerer explains that they’ve managed to overclock their PS4 Slim to 2.4GHz, and run the Unigine Heaven Benchmark, a reference in particular for Linux users. This is a 50% increase of the clock speed which is pretty massive, but people seem to say the PS4 can handle it (we can’t vouch for that, try at your own risk)

Showing a score of 1245 in the benchmark, it appears the overclocked PS4 slim gets a pretty good result considering its release date of 2013, sitting close to the scores of some mid-to-high end Graphics cards of the time: From what we have found, folks running Unigine Heaven with the same settings back in the day could achieve a score of roughly 1000 with a GTX 760, and 1500 with a GTX 770. The PS4 GPU is a custom AMD one, but has been said to be roughly equivalent to a GTX 750 Ti (a Graphics card significantly slower than the GTX 760). So it would seem the overclocking is helping significantly in the benchmark.

Of course there are many factors at play, and individual benchmark results can vary a lot depending on CPU, RAM, etc… So an apples to apples comparison is practically impossible. It would certainly be interesting to see the same Benchmark being run without Overclocking.

Overclocking the PS4 – How it’s done

The trick which is not really one, is that you have to have a Jailbroken PS4, running Linux. The kernel files (specifically /arch/x86/include/asm/ps4.h) need to be modified before compiling an “overclocked” version of Linux running on your PS4.

There are plenty of guides out there on how to run Linux on your PS4, but you’ll need a Jailbroken PS4 to install Linux.

You can download the Unigine Heaven Benchmark here. My “Gaming” desktop’s score (with the same settings as shown on the screenshot) is 1475. My machine’s fairly old (it was awesome in 2014…?) but from my perspective it shows the PS4 still has life in it.

Last but not least, overclocking the PS4 with Linux will not keep it in “overclocked” state when you reboot to the PS4 OS. Sorry for those who thought they could run God Of War like they were on their PS5 or something 🙂

FlawlessDeku pulls off an impressive 60% damage combo with Jamie during a real Street Fighter 6 demo match

FlawlessDeku has been releasing plenty of footage from his time with the Street Fighter 6 demo that’s been available to the public at specific events. It’s quite evident that he’s developed a real interest in maining Jamie, one of the newcomers revealed for Street Fighter 6.

Needless to say, FlawlessDeku’s time investment has seemingly paid off in a big way as he’s dominating the competition. In his latest video, FlawlessDeku is able to pull off a combo that deletes around 60% of Ryu’s health bar.

What’s particularly scary about this sequence is how FlawlessDeku begins the combo by transitioning from Jamie’s “Rekka” special into the level 3. Of course, it’s very important to understand that level 1 and level 2 supers can’t be canceled into from special moves in this game (unless meter is spent for the Overdrive special variant).

From here, FlawlessDeku is actually able to continue the combo after landing Jamie’s level 3. Even though Ryu had over half his health remaining before he got hit, the damage that followed after the level 3 was enough to finish the round.

The 60% damage combo happens at the very end of the video. Before then, there’s actually plenty of match footage that has FlawlessDeku facing off with a Ryu player.

Barcelona vs Pumas UNAM, Joan Gamper Trophy: Final Score 6-0, Barça finish preseason with impressive victory

Barcelona finished their preparations for the new season in style with an amazing 6-0 win over Pumas UNAM in the Joan Gamper Trophy at the Spotify Camp Nou. The Catalans played some magical football in the first half and continued the fun throughout the 90 minutes, and the home crowd was treated to an incredible show in the preseason finale.

FIRST HALF

The first 20 minutes of the game were an absolute thrill ride: Barça played magical attacking football, scoring four amazing goals in a stretch of play that we might see very few times this season. It was truly breathtaking, with combination play and movement of the very highest level regardless of how weak the Pumas defense looked.

Robert Lewandowski got the party started, scoring his first goal for the club in amazing fashion after a great assist by Pedri and an incredible finish from an improbable angle; Lewa then returned the favor just one minute later and assisted Pedri who rounded the keeper before scoring against an empty net.

Five minutes after that it was time for Raphinha and Ousmane Dembélé to join the party as the Brazilian came up with the assist and the Frenchman fired the ball home with a powerful low shot. Barça kept attacking and creating some beautiful offense, with Raphinha and Lewandowski both hitting the post before the fourth goal which came with amazing backheel flick from Lewa and another excellent finish by Pedri.

Barça ran the clock out in the final 20 minutes of the period, and at halftime the win was in the bag thanks to a sensational performance.

SECOND HALF

Despite seven changes at halftime Barça continued to attack and play loose and fun football in the final period, and they made it 5-0 just four minutes in when a beautiful passing combination ended with an assist for Franck Kessie and a tap-in for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Even though the pace slowed down quite a bit the Blaugrana continued to dominate possession and create chances, and the sixth goal came when Frenkie De Jong stole the ball from a Pumas player in midfield and found the back of the net with a nice finish.

The final whistle came a few minutes later, and Barça have won the Gamper with their best performance of this preseason and look very, very good ahead of the new campaign. The signings look like a perfect fit, and this team is pretty strong right now.
