[Jon] Hamm’s knack for creating likable weasels is a good fit for Black Mirror, a show that regularly applies imagined technology from the not-so-distant future against the cracks of human weakness. In “White Christmas,” the show’s extra-long Christmas special, Hamm plays Matthew, a seemingly friendly communication facilitator with ulterior motives. (I say “communication facilitator” because that’s about as close as I can come to describing the jobs we see him doing over the course of the episode. Basically, he’s a guy who’s good at manipulating people to do things other people want them to do.) Matthew is, at the start of the episode, inside a cabin in some undesignated frozen wasteland, sharing room and board with Joe Potter (Rafe Spall), a taciturn young man with his own dark past. ‘Fargo’ Season 5 To Star Juno Temple, Jon Hamm & Jennifer Jason Leigh – Deadline
Juno Temple (Ted Lasso), Jon Hamm (Mad Men) and Jennifer Jason Leigh (Atypical) are set as leads in the upcoming fifth installment of Fargo, FX’s acclaimed limited series created and executive produced by Noah Hawley.
As usual, Hawley is not revealing much about the plot of the new season, which the series’ most contemporary to date. Set in 2019, it answers two questions: When is a kidnapping not a kidnapping, and what if your wife isn’t yours?
Temple, Hamm and Leigh will play the central characters of Dot, Roy and Lorraine, respectively.
Previous seasons of Fargo have been headlined by Billy Bob Thornton, Kirsten Dunst, Ewan McGregor and Chris Rock, among others.
Fargo creator, writer, director and executive producer Hawley, and his production company 26 Keys, lead the creative team of the latest installment of the true crime story. Warren Littlefield, and his production company The Littlefield Company, also serves as executive producer along with Joel & Ethan Coen, Steve Stark of Toluca Pictures, Kim Todd, and Vincent Landay. Fargo is produced by MGM Television and FX Productions, with MGM Television serving as the lead studio and MGM distributing the series internationally.

In addition to her Emmy-nominated tole in Apple TV+’s hit comedy series Ted Lasso, Temple also stars in the Paramount+ limited series The Offer. She is repped by UTA, B-Side Management, Maison 2, Lichter Grossman Nichols, and Relevant PR.
Hamm, Emmy winner for his starring role on Mad Men, is onscreen in the box office mega hit Top Gun: Maverick. He is repped by CAA, Forward Entertainment and Sloane Offer Weber & Dern.

‘My Sweet Lord’ video: Ringo Starr gets Fred Armisen and Jon Hamm for new George Harrison video
The video, which comes 51 years after the song’s release, stars former Beatle Ringo Starr, along with a slew of musicians, actors and comedians who make cameos.
Joe Walsh and Jeff Lynne, who played with Harrison in the Traveling Wilburys, appear. Harrison’s wife Olivia and son Dhani also appear.
The video features cameos from Patton Oswalt, Taika Waititi, Vanessa Bayer, Mark Hamill, Sam Richardson, Atsuko Okatsuka, Rosanna Arquette, Brandon Wardell, Anders Holm, Moshe Kasher, Natasha Legerro, Reggie Watts, Tim Heidecker, Paul Scheer, Darren Criss and “Weird Al” Yankovic.

Hamill plays the head of a secret agency who hires Armisen and Bayer to go find something mysterious. They hit a bookstore and a movie theater packed with stars, then give up. They turn on the radio to hear music, and the beginning of “My Sweet Lord” plays.
“My Sweet Lord” debuted on Harrison’s 1970 solo album “All Things Must Pass.”
