Anand Ambani’s engagement with Radhika Merchant on Thursday gave another reason to Bollywood stars to deck up in the best outfits for a party. In attendance were Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Gauri Khan, Aryan Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and many others.
Deepika Padukone turned up in a beautiful red saree and a thick diamond necklace. Next to her, Ranveer sparkled in a black outfit. The couple posed for the camera in their usual style before heading inside for the party. Gauri Khan glowed in a silver dress and posed with son Aryan, who was in an all-black suit. Her husband, actor Shah Rukh Khan was also spotted in black but he headed straight inside the venue and refused to pose for the paparazzi.
Katrina Kaif wore a white outfit with impressive shoulder pads. She posed alone for the paparazzi as husband Vicky Kaushal gave the event a skip. Salman Khan, who wore a blue kurta pyjama, had a very special date for the evening: his niece Alizeh Agnihotri. She looked pretty in her white lehenga.
Sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were also seen in stunning lehengas. Ananya wore a white one and posed with Arjun Kapoor and Orhan Awatramani.
Anant and Radhika had a traditional engagement ceremony where they performed old Gujarati rituals such as Gol Dhana and Chunari Vidhi.
Radhika is the daughter of Viren Merchant, the CEO of Encore Healthcare. She hails from Kutch, Gujarat. She has trained in Bharatnatyam for eight years and is the disciple of Guru Bhavana Thakar of Shree Nibha Arts. In June 2022, Radhika made headlines after the Ambani family hosted a grand Arangetram ceremony at Jio World Centre. ‘Arangetram’ is a Tamil word which means ascending the stage by a dancer on the completion of formal training. It is the debut on-stage performance of a student of Indian classical dance and music following years of training.
Anant, son of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, completed his studies from Brown University in the USA and has since served at Reliance industries in various capacities including as a member on the Boards of Jio Platforms and Reliance Retail Ventures. He currently leads the energy business of RIL.

Alana Thompson, aka Honey Boo Boo, has totally transformed for a new magazine spread.
The reality TV star, 15, posed for Teen Vogue and spoke candidly about growing up on television and not wanting to be defined by her younger self.
“I guess people still expect me to be little Honey Boo Boo, and I’m not anymore,” she told the outlet.
“Just because I’m from the South, people expect me to be all country bumpkin, out riding four-wheelers all the time, but that’s not really how it is,” Thompson said. “There are so many folks on my Instagram that do not like my nails or my eyelashes. But I do not care. As long as I like myself, I’m good.”

“I don’t understand why people think this way,” she said of people’s harsh words. “Just because I got a little bit of extra meat on my bones, you want to hate me? I’ll never get body shaming.”
She added, “I know I’m beautiful, and I know I got a banging body, so…I don’t care.”

Something else Thompson is working on is her strained relationship with her mother, June Shannon. In March 2019, along with her then-boyfriend, Geno Doak, June was arrested on suspicion of drug possession following a domestic dispute at an Alabama gas station.

June lost custody of Thompson and June’s older daughter, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, became Thompson’s legal guardian.
“When my mama got real bad with her [drug use], I didn’t know where I was going to end up. I’m proud of myself for how far I’ve come,” Thompson said. She and June are working on their relationship.

“A lot of folks in this world do not realize how many people are actually really affected by drug and alcohol [use]…It’s very, very hard,” Thompson said. “It’s something I’d wish on nobody, for real.”
In 2020, June checked into rehab and has since remained sober from drugs and alcohol.

Jennifer and actor Ben, who she previously dated between 2002 and 2004, enjoyed a PDA-packed super-yacht cruise around Europe, stopping in places like Italy, St. Tropez and Monte Carlo.

The super-yacht, named The Valerie, can accommodate 17 guests and comes with seven bedrooms across six decks, a 20-ft long pool and jacuzzi.
Jennifer and Ben first met back in 2001 on the set of Gigli and began dating the following year in 2002.
Formerly engaged, Ben proposed to Jennifer in November 2002 and the pair were due to get married in September 2003, but postponed their wedding four days before their big day.
