Leonardo DiCaprio, Gigi Hadid moving to next level, ‘taking it slow’

Shock new couple Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio have moved their romance into a more intimate phase, Page Six is told — but sources close to the pair say they are “taking it slow.”

Sources have been telling us for months that the model, 27, and the superstar actor, 47, have been getting close while hanging in the same group of friends.

But now we hear that they’ve started going out on dates just as a twosome.

An insider tells us, they’ve “mostly hanging out with groups,” adding, “and solo a handful of times.”

“[DiCaprio] is not someone who is in-and-out of relationships,” they explain, “He doesn’t jump around hooking up. They are taking it slow.”

The two were spotted together Saturday night at an exclusive party thrown by the “Don’t Look Up” star’s pal Richie Akiva and Darren Dzienciol at a loft in Soho.

And according to our source, the pair were also out together sometime last week, but the two are still “getting to know each other.”

Hadid and DiCaprio have met a few times over the years, says the insider, but it had never been romantic until now.

They were first spotted in a group setting alongside Hadid’s sister Bella and Kendall Jenner at Art Basel in Miami back in 2019.

Gigi and Bella Hadid stun runway with partially ‘shaved’ heads

Supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid debuted bold new looks Monday, storming a New York runway with bleached eyebrows, short bangs and — what appeared to be — half-shaved heads.

But the sisters’ dramatic transformation was soon revealed to be the work of prosthetics artists, who had altered their appearance with the help of bald caps, wigs and makeup.

The futuristic styling was part of Marc Jacobs’ Fall 2022 show, which saw the designer’s eponymous brand unveil over 40 new looks at the New York Public Library, a Beaux-Arts style building on Fifth Avenue. Gigi modeled an enormous pink sweater and gray skirt, while Bella was dressed in a black vinyl dress with opera gloves.

Elsewhere in the presentation, models wore brightly colored, monochromatic garments that spanned outsized knitwear, voluminous ruffled gowns and dramatic platform boots. The Hadids were among several models walking the runway in dramatic hairstyles, with others seen sporting sharp bobs and space-age bangs.

On Instagram, Bella posted various backstage photos and a timelapse video showing makeup and prosthetic artists creating her look.

Online, the images sparked mixed reactions — and concern from some social media users believing the model had shaved her head for real. But fashion photographer Elizaveta Porodina replied to Bella’s post saying she looked “absolutely angelic,” while the activist and journalist Noor Tagouri commented: “The transformation is amazing.”

The eye-catching styling was overseen by Marc Jacobs’ makeup artist Diane Kendal and hairstylist Duffy. One of the special effects artists responsible for the Hadids’ looks, Noël Jacoboni, took to Instagram to say that working on the show had been “surreal.”

“Today was the perfect marriage of my ability to do a bald cap as well as work for one of my favorite designers with some of the top models in the industry,” she posted.

Jacobs’ latest spectacle, which was livestreamed on LED screens in New York’s Times Square, comes a year after he last staged a runway show in the same venue.

The American designer’s cryptic show notes declared that “creativity is essential living” before ending on a quote from the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche: “We have art in order not to die of the truth.”

Vanessa Bryant appeared at the NBA All-Star Game at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland on Sunday to present veteran player Chris Paul with the first-ever Kobe and Gigi Bryant Advocacy Award.

Vanessa, 39, donned an all-black ensemble of a long coat, sweater top, pants and pointy-toed boots as she wore her brown locks down and parted at the annual event.

Vanessa – who is mom to daughters Natalia, 19, the late Gigi, 13, Bianka, five, and Capri, two, with the late NBA icon – posed with Paul, 36, his daughter Cameron, nine, and WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert, 58, on the floor at the venue as the honors were awarded.

Paul, a 12-time All-Star who is on the Phoenix Suns, was honored ‘for his significant contributions to the advancement of girls’ and women’s basketball, and advocacy for the WNBA,’ the WNBA said in a news release.

The honors are aimed at shining a light on those ‘who use their time, talent, and platform to raise awareness for the WNBA, and women’s and girls’ basketball in various ways,’ as the late Kobe Bryant did on multiple fronts.

The award ‘highlights Kobe’s legacy as a coach and mentor and Gigi’s inspirational, relentless commitment to playing at the highest levels of the game,’ the WNBA said. ‘Gigi, a happy, loving and competitive young lady, wanted to pursue her dreams of one day playing in the WNBA and continuing her father’s legacy while elevating women in sports. 

‘Gigi loved the game of basketball and aspired to reach the pinnacle of the sport like her father.’

Paul was honored for the ‘unique level of support’ he has ‘consistently demonstrated’ for the WNBA and the Phoenix Mercury with his attendance and use of his platforms.

Said Engelbert: ‘I have seen first-hand Chris’ appreciation of the WNBA and the game at every level for women and girls, especially in Phoenix and North Carolina, and his ardent support of our game strongly reflects the legacy of Kobe and Gigi.

‘The league is proud to name Chris as the inaugural recipient of the Kobe & Gigi Bryant WNBA Advocacy Award, as he serves as a leader and role model for other professional athletes around growing the future of the game for young girls and all fans.’

Paul and Bryant were set to be teammates after a three-way deal in December of 2011 that would have sent Paul to the Lakers, but the deal was nixed by then-NBA Commissioner David Stern. 

Vanessa took to Instagram earlier on Sunday to thank her NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and the league for commemorating her late husband Kobe Bryant with a trophy named in his honor.

‘Thank you Adam Silver and the @nba [heart emoji] #TheKobeBryantTrophy ~ All Star Game MVP #1,’ Vanessa wrote in the caption of the shot, which includes multiple shots of the trophy and a letter Silver wrote addressed to her and her daughters.

The letter from Silver read: ‘Enclosed is the newly designed Kobe Bryant trophy which will be awarded annually to the NBA All-Star Game Most Valuable Player. The trophy is a tribute to Kobe’s legendary career that set records and inspired generations of basketball fans.

The redesigned trophy, which the league announced earlier this month, was designed by artist Victor Solomon and features multiple elements paying homage to the late Los Angeles Lakers stalwart, who played for 20 years in the league prior to his retirement in 2016.

It features a base with eight sides, paying homage to Bryant’s former No. 8 jersey; with 18 stars on it to represent the 18 times he was named to the All-Star team. The base is two inches tall as a nod to his All-Star Game MVP award in 2002.

The trophy is topped off by a lone star to commemorate Bryant’s win of the NBA’s MVP award in 2008

The trophy’s third level is two inches tall, to represent the pair of NBA Finals MVP awards Bryant won, as well as a lone star to commemorate his win of the NBA’s MVP award in 2008.

The honor comes more than two years after Kobe, 41, and daughter Gigi, 13, died with seven others in a January 26, 2020 helicopter crash in Calabasas, California along with pilot Ara Zobayan, 50, Alyssa Altobelli, 14, Keri Altobelli, 46, John Altobelli, 56, Payton Chester, 13, Sarah Chester, 46, and Christina Mauser, 38.

Urban Meyer’s daughter Gigi furious after firing: ‘This is war’

Urban Meyer’s turbulent tenure in Jacksonville may have come to an end, but it appears the fallout has only just begun.

Gigi Meyer, the daughter of the now-former Jaguars coach, posted a series of fiery messages Thursday on her Instagram Story in support of her father, who was axed after 13 games into his first season with the team.

“The spirit of the enemy is in full force battle mode in this world & in people. This is war. But like I said… We all know who wins in the end 🙏🏻 ✝️,” Gigi wrote.

In a separate message, Gigi continued, “The enemy (aka the world) REALLY doesn’t wanna see good people win. & you can argue whether my dad is a ‘good person’ or not based on what you see in the media (super reliable source of info as we know) Anyone who truly knows us knows how incredible he is as a person. & the world hates any platform we have, so he’s going to create chaos to destroy it. Little does he know he’s making it stronger. It’s not over. Keep watching.”

Meyer, who was hired as the Jaguars head coach in January, was fired Thursday amid an ever-growing pile of controversies. The latest transgression came Wednesday, courtesy of a Tampa Bay Times piece, in which former Jaguars player Josh Lambo accused Meyer of kicking him during an August practice.

Jaguars owner Shad Khan announced early Thursday morning that Meyer had been let go.

“After deliberation over many weeks and a thorough analysis of the entirety of Urban’s tenure with our team, I am bitterly disappointed to arrive at the conclusion that an immediate change is imperative for everyone. I informed Urban of the change this evening,” Khan said in his statement. “As I stated in October, regaining our trust and respect was essential. Regrettably, it did not happen.”

Meyer came under first this past fall, when he opted to stay in Ohio instead of flying home with the team after a Week 4 loss to the Bengals. Video later surfaced on social media of the coach in a Columbus bar with a woman who was not his wife. In recent days, Meyer was also at the center of a damning NFL.com report, alleging that he belittled his assistant coaches. Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer said Sunday that Meyer told him, “Yes, absolutely I’m had on my coaches. I get on them.”

In additional Instagram posts also shared Thursday, Gigi defended her father’s character, sharing photos of Meyer embracing his players on the field, as well as his family.

“This ‘bully’ always says ‘family is everything,’” Gigi wrote. “Always forced us on stage to be in pics with him bc he couldn’t enjoy the moment without us.”

Gigi added in a separate Instagram Story, “Always spoke about the power of LOVE & FAMILY with his platform. Never once cared about the money he made & his fame.”

“This isn’t about peoples opinions. I don’t care,” Gigi penned in a later post. “But when there’s lies & ppl full on after my family … Then I have a problem & I won’t stay quiet.”

The Jaguars, who enter Sunday’s game against the Texans at 2-11, will be coached the rest of this season by Darrell Bevell, the team’s offensive coordinator.

Zayn Malik pleaded no contest to harassment charges in alleged dispute with Gigi and Yolanda Hadid

Malik, 28, was charged in September for four instances of harassment, according to citation records and mail-in plea records obtained by CNN.

In the citations filed with a magisterial district court in Pennsylvania, Malik was accused of saying “lewd, lascivious, threatening or obscene words” to Yolanda Hadid, Gigi Hadid (identified in court documents as Jelena Hadid) and John McMahon, whom TMZ identified as a security guard.

The former One Direction singer was also accused of physically harming Yolanda Hadid, with one citation stating that Malik “grabbed and shoved her into a dresser causing mental anguish and physical pain.”

Yolanda Hadid is perhaps best known as a former cast member of the reality series “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

In his mail-in plea, Malik wrote in “Nolo,” short for “Nolo Contendere” (no contest) in response to all of the charges but a court employee entered them as guilty pleas, noting Malik’s pleas were not an option for the level of the alleged offenses, according to court documents.

In addition to his pleas, Malik agreed to 90 days probation for each count, for a total of 360 days and agreed to attend anger management class. He also agreed to have no contact with Yolanda Hadid or McMahon.

In a statement shared on his official Twitter account, the “PILLOWTALK” singer wrote that the incident “was and still should be a private matter.”

“As you all know I am a private person and I very much want to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in. A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart,” he wrote.

“In an effort to protect that space for her I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.

He continued: “This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been ‘leaked’ to the press.

Malik went on to say he was “hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves.”

Gigi Hadid’s representative issued a statement to E!News, saying: “Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai, She asks for privacy during this time.”

Yolanda Hadid has not yet publicly addressed the matter.

Zayn Malik denies claims he struck Gigi Hadid’s mother Yolanda in fight

Zayn Malik has spoken out after he was accused of striking his girlfriend Gigi Hadid’s mother Yolanda, denying the claim.

“I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private,” he told TMZ in a statement on Thursday.

The 28-year-old singer also took to social media earlier in the day to say there were “harsh words shared” not long after news broke to address the allegations.

“In an effort to protect that space for her I agreed not to contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago,” Malik continued.

TMZ reported that sources told the outlet that Malik allegedly “struck” Yolanda, 57, last week and the former model is reportedly seriously considering filing a police report.

They are among the modelling industry’s most in-demand stars.

And Gigi Hadid and Irina Shayk both looked sensational as they walked the catwalk at the Max Mara fashion show for Milan Fashion Week on Tuesday. 

Gigi, 26, looked stunning in a black bra top and mini skirt for the show while during the rehearsals she wore a yellow open shirt and leather trousers which highlighted her toned midriff. 

The star also sported a matching pair of trousers while she added height to her frame with silver boots.

Styling her brunette locks into a ponytail, Gigi added to her outfit with a black handbag and a pair of sunglasses.

Accentuating her beauty with a light pallet of makeup, Gigi completed her look with a light blue headband. 

The model was also spotted making her way to the rehearsal session where she donned a pair of black leopard print shoes and a cream face mask.

The party was attended by Hadid’s entire family, including sister Bella and mother Yolanda, and held at her luxury apartment in New York City.

The balloon creations came in the form of a panda bear from the popular children’s animated show Word Party, which appeared to be the party’s dominant theme.

Some less impressive balloon displays, including a large number one to signify Khai’s first birthday, were scattered around the space.

Sibling: Meanwhile, Gigi’s younger brother Anwar Hadid was seen on an outing in New York City on Wednesday

Stroll: The youngest member of the Hadid family sported a dark grey printed T-shirt and a matching pair of jeans

Romance: Anwar is in a relationship with pop star Dua Lipa 

Resting in the middle of the patio was a baby-safe enclosure that would allow the little one to hang out outdoors without getting into mischief.

The enclosure featured a small pale pink slide, an adorable hippo figurine, and blocks for Khai to play with as her guests mingled.

There was also a mini inflatable jumper with an attached ball pit for Khai to play in. ‘My baby turned one this weekend,’ captioned the runway maven on one of her posts.

Gigi Hadid finally revealed the name of her baby daughter whom she shares with boyfriend Zayn Malik.

The 25-year-old supermodel subtly changed her Instagram profile to read “Khai’s mom.”

The couple welcomed Khai in September and have kept her face off of social media.

“Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful,” Malik, 28, tweeted on Sept. 23. “To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task.”

The singer added, “The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x.”

Hadid shared a black-and-white photo of her daughter’s hand and wrote, “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love.”

Some fans are speculating that baby Khai is named after Hadid’s paternal grandmother, whose name was Khairiah Hadid. She died in 2008.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik just revealed the name of their newborn baby girl. Introducing… Khai!

Gigi debuted the unique moniker in a very subtle way—by adding “khai’s mom” to her Instagram bio on Jan. 21. 

The supermodel shared the news exactly four months after announcing their daughter’s arrival. “Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful,” Zayn wrote in a Sept. 23 tweet. “To try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task.”

“The love i feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding,” he added. “Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together x.”

Hours later, Gigi posted another glimpse of the couple’s daughter. “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world,” the 25-year-old wrote. “So in love.”

In the months since, Gigi has kept fans up to date on her motherhood experience, all while sticking to their commitment to privacy. Shortly after Khai’s birth, a source told E! News that Gigi and Zayn planned to stay at her mom Yolanda Hadid‘s Pennsylvania farm for the foreseeable future.
