Jeremy Renner was trying to save nephew when crushed by snow plow

Jeremy Renner was trying to save his adult nephew from being hit by the snow plow when the machine accidentally crushed the famed “Avengers” star, according to a Nevada sheriff’s office incident report.

The “Hurt Locker” star didn’t activate the emergency break as it started sliding sideways after he used it to pull his nephew’s truck out of snow, according to the new, redacted Washoe County Sheriff’s Office report (via CNN).

“The Pistenbully snow groomer began sliding causing Renner to exit the vehicle without setting the emergency brake,” reads the conclusion of the report.

“Although the Pistenbully had some mechanical issues, it is believed based on our mechanical inspection that the parking brake would keep the Pistenbully from moving forward.

“When Renner attempted to stop or divert the Pistenbully to avoid injury to (his nephew), he was pulled under the vehicle by the track and run over.”

The report also notes that the brake indicator light was not working and “mechanical issues may have been a factor in this accident.”

Renner’s nephew helped him as they waited for medical assistance to arrive and airlift him to a trauma center. His rep confirmed at the time that he was in “critical, but stable condition” and suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” for which he underwent multiple surgeries.

Renner, 52, returned home earlier this month after spending nearly two weeks in the hospital. He later revealed he broke more than 30 bones in the snow plow accident, which occurred on New Year’s Day.

Jeremy Renner’s injuries from his freak snow plow accident are “worse than anyone knows” and could require two years to fully heal, according to a new report.

The Marvel actor suffered critical injuries in the New Year’s Day incident in which he was run over by the heavy duty machinery near his Reno, Nevada home.

Renner was airlifted to the hospital for “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries,” according to a statement from his representative.

He has undergone surgery and remains in the hospital, where he has shared some selfies and videos since.

However, a source close to the “Hawkeye” actor told Radar Online that his condition is worse than what has been revealed publicly.

“It’s much worse than anyone knows,” the source said. “Jeremy is very aware of the fact that he almost died out there.”

Renner, 42, was helping a stranded motorist by clearing the snow when his Kässbohrer PistenBully snow plow began rolling on its own. As he attempted to hop behind the wheel and stop it, the 6.5-ton plow ran him over, crushing his leg.

The Oscar-nominated actor suffered “extreme difficulty” breathing and was bleeding heavily from his head. The right side of his chest collapsed as his upper torso was crushed by the vehicle, according to a 911 log obtained by TMZ.

Jeremy Renner was ‘run over’ by 14,330-pound snowplow, says sheriff

Jeremy Renner was “run over” by an “extremely large piece of snow removal equipment” weighing “at least 14,330 pounds,” according to local authorities.

Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam said during a press conference Tuesday that the actor’s PistenBully was “stuck” when the “Hawkeye” star attempted to “retrieve” the vehicle and “get [it] moving.”

Although the 51-year-old was “successful,” he was off the machinery and “speaking to a family member” when the PistenBully subsequently “started to roll.”

Jeremy Renner was run over by a PistenBully weighing 14,330 pounds.

The sheriff explained, “In an effort to stop the rolling PistenBully, Mr. Renner attempt[ed] to get back into the driver’s seat of the PistenBully. Based on our investigation, it’s at this point that Mr. Renner [was] run over.”

Balaam noted that Renner was not believed “to be impaired at all” during the “tragic accident” and foul play is not suspected.

News broke on Monday that the Oscar nominee was in “critical but stable condition” in Nevada after “experiencing a weather-related incident.”

The actor posted an Instagram update after surgery.

Renner’s fellow Marvel franchise members shared their support in the comments.

“Speedy recovery buddy. Sending love your way!” Chris Hemsworth wrote, while Chris Evans called his co-star “tough as nails.”

Chris Pratt added, “Continued prayers your way brutha.”

Renner has lived in his remote mansion near Reno for nearly a decade, telling Men’s Health in November 2021 that his home “isn’t a horse ranch [but] … more of a horsepower ranch.”

Jay Leno is on the mend.

The former “Tonight Show” host, 72, was discharged from the hospital Monday, looking happy and healthy as he posed for a photo with staff from the Grossman Burn Center after recovering from “serious” burns.

“After a 10-day stay at the facility, Jay will receive follow-up care at the Grossman Outpatient Burn Clinic for burns to his face, chest and hands he received during a fire at his home garage,” doctors shared in a press release.

“Jay would like to let everyone know how thankful he is for the care he received, and is very appreciative of all of the well wishes.

Denise Richards cries on phone after road-rage shooting

Denise Richards is still reeling after an angry driver shot at her and her husband, Aaron Phypers, in a road-rage incident Monday.

The “Wild Things” star, 51, was photographed looking upset Wednesday while on a phone call outside of an office building in Malibu, Calif.

Richards seemed to become emotional while talking into her iPhone and telling a detailed story to the other person on the line.

At one point, Phypers, 50, walked outside to talk to his wife but then went to the other end of the balcony.

During several points in the conversation, the former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star wiped tears from her eyes and looked somber.

Richards and Phypers eventually left the office and grabbed lunch at nearby restaurant Lucky’s, where paparazzi caught up with them.

“It’s all good. We’re all good,” the actress told a photographer when asked about the shooting.

Phypers added that the incident could “happen anywhere at any time” and that they think the suspect was just a “random man.”

The “Blue Lagoon” actress kept her look casual for the outing, wearing a black T-shirt, black leggings, an olive green newsboy cap and black Ugg boots.

Richards and Phypers have kept a mostly low profile since Monday, when a frustrated male driver zoomed around their truck and shot at it, according to TMZ.

The “Bold and the Beautiful” star spoke out for the first time when an internet troll wished harm on her.

“What I experienced yesterday with my husband, not that you care. Was the most terrifying situation I have ever been in,” she replied to the Twitter user Wednesday. “I’m sorry a shot didn’t graze my neck…a–hole.”

Following the incident, Richards went to a movie studio to film “Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace” for 12 hours despite reportedly crying and feeling unnerved.

TikToker discovered dead in field after disappearing

A Brazilian TikTok influencer, who went missing for two days, has been found dead in her car after allegedly driving off a cliff.

Authorities reportedly discovered the deceased woman, 41-year-old Raquel da Silva Moura Medeiros, in an overturned vehicle near the BR-364 motorway in Ariquemes, Rondônia, on Oct. 18, Jam Press reported.

The Federal Highway Police deduced that her vehicle flipped over after plummeting off a cliff on the side of the road with no foul play suspected. They claimed that it took so long to find the dentist’s body because her car was hidden in a patch of vegetation, G1 Global reported.

This marked a tragic end to a harrowing saga that began after Medeiros went missing two days earlier on Oct. 16. The deceased had reportedly left the municipality of Ji-Paraná — her place of birth — at approximately 10 p.m. that day in a white Chevrolet Onix.

Raquel da Silva Moura Medeiros was a well-“liked” dentist and influencer.

Authorities claimed Medeiros was hard to find because her vehicle was hidden in the grass.

Medeiros had reportedly driven off a cliff, whereupon her car flipped over and landed in a patch of vegetation.

She was last spotted on closed-circuit TV cameras arriving in Jaru, the last city en route to Ariquemes — 20 minutes after she had begun the drive.

After Medeiros didn’t return home, concerned family members subsequently posted a missing persons notice on social media, and alerted the authorities of her disappearance, Jam Press reported. This prompted a major search effort with authorities patrolling sections of the roadway between her starting point and where she was last seen with the aid of air support. That’s when they recovered her remains.

Medeiros was an accomplished dentist who specialized in orthodontics and hospital dentistry — which she regularly documented for her followers on TikTok. She also posted videos related to travel, friends and family, and going to the gym.

Medeiros’ family alerted authorities after the dentist didn’t return home.
Jam Press

Co-workers at the basic health unit in Ariquemes, where she worked since 2017, claimed Medeiros “was liked by patients and co-workers.”

Medeiros will be buried on Oct. 20 in a church in Ariquemes, her family said.

Lavinia Trematerra, 7, crushed by statue in Munich hotel

A 7-year-old Italian girl was crushed to death by a 440-pound marble statue while playing in a hotel courtyard in Munich last week.

Lavinia Trematerra, from Naples, was on holiday with her parents when the accident occurred Friday evening.

According to local reports, Trematerra was playing with an 8-year-old boy when the unfixed statue toppled on top of her.

Bystanders – including her father, Michele Trematerra – rushed to her aid and lifted the statue off of her, according to Italian media.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and attempted to resuscitate her before taking her to the hospital where she died a couple of hours later.

“You are and will always be our angel. Rest in peace, love of our lives,” wrote her lawyer mother, Valentina Poggi on social media, just hours after her daughter’s death.

The girl’s father, also a lawyer, wrote: “Our life has changed forever.”

Munich police have opened an investigation, including claims that the girl was possibly climbing the statue before it fell on her.

Iranian man has water bottle removed from anus

This guy really did have something up his butt.

A married man from Iran is recovering after doctors removed a 7 ½ inch water bottle from his rectum.

The suspect suppository was discovered after the 50-year-old arrived at the hospital with his wife, who grew concerned once he stopped eating and began to suffer from abdominal pain and constipation.

The man continued to successfully hide his painful secret, right up until it was revealed to doctors via CT scan.

According to an article in the Clinical Case Reports Journal, the man avoided mentioning that he’d inserted the object himself, due to “embarrassment,” and “fear of his wife.”

The case study said that he had inserted the bottle with the bottom going in first, in order to use the top as a grip to pull out.

The yellow arrow shows exactly where the water bottle was located.

But when the time came to do so, the unfortunate object wound up trapped in the man’s large intestine.

Doctors at the Imam Khomeini Hospital in Sari did not mention why exactly how the bottle got stuck there, but did say that sexual gratification is usually behind these sorts of situations. The man was also known to have a history of depression, according to the Clinical Case Reports.

He was rushed to emergency surgery to remove it. Surgeons were able to slowly drag the bottle out without causing damage to the intestine.

The unfortunate adventurer was discharged three days later and referred to a psychiatric clinic.

The man was reportedly back to normal and experiencing no problems one month later.

According to medical professionals, similar cases have been reported in men around the world aged 30 to 40. Other objects retrieved from the anus include light bulbs, bottles, truncheons, body spray cans and turkey basters, they said.

Photos show family moments before tragic NJ sand collapse killed teen

Exclusive photos show the family of a teenager who died in a freak sand hole collapse on the Jersey Shore having fun in the sun just moments before tragedy struck.

The last known images of the Caverly family appear to show Levi, 18, digging the deep pit with his 17-year-old sister as their parents,  Angela and Todd, watched at Toms River’s Ocean Beach 3, according to a beach-goer who snapped the shot.

“They were digging so frigging deep. We’ve had storms and everything was wet, so the sand was firm. It wasn’t hard to dig that deep. I’d say by 12:30 p.m., you couldn’t even see them, they were so deep,” the beach-goer told The Post.

The witness said she accidentally captured the family in the background of a photo she shot of her husband around 12:50 p.m. Tuesday — just hours before the sand caved in on the teens, killing Levi and burying his sister up to her neck, according to police and witnesses.

The woman who took the shot said she got a bad feeling about the teens digging, and considered warning the family of the danger.

A witness said Levi Caverly and his sister were digging a very deep hole before the sand collapsed.

“I said to my husband, ‘I’d better go over there,’” she said.

The beach-goer, who asked not to be named, decided not to intervene — but later realized something was terribly wrong when she saw first responders arriving.

“At around 3:45 p.m., there were helicopters, fire engines. I came running over,” she said, adding: “These are the last family pictures, timestamped 12:49.”

The woman said she can’t get the tragedy out of her mind.

“I couldn’t sleep last night. I know better. I’m the kind of person who gets a premonition, and I knew something wasn’t right about this hole,” she said. “I was bothered by it, and in hindsight I should have walked over here and said, ‘You’ve got to watch it. Don’t dig.’ That’s why there’s a lot of guilt.”

The witness said she captured the family in the background of a photo she was taking of her husband.

Another witness told The Post Wednesday that she assumed someone had drowned when she saw the number of cops rushing toward the shoreline.

“We got to the beach and said, ‘Oh no, somebody drowned.’ And then I saw all the shovels and everybody was going crazy,” said Frankie Graziano, 52, who was walking dogs with her sister.

She watched the father of the teens’ “agonized” facial expression as dozens of first responders tried to dig out his kids from the hole, which fire officials said was 10 feet deep.

Levi Caverly was killed when the sand hole collapsed.

“The hole was so deep that you could hardly see the men who were digging. The men were meticulously handing off buckets of sand in a row in a bucket brigade to get it away from the hole. I heard them say, ‘We’ve located him.’  He was obviously deceased because he’d been in there too long,” she said.

“I saw the dad, too. I saw his face. I could recognize the agony in it. My heart bleeds for him, because one day your life is whole and the next day it’s broken. And the guilt that goes along with it — I’m sure they’ll never be the same again,” she said.

The Caverly family, from Union, Maine, was on vacation when the freak accident unfolded, Toms River police said.

Levi’s 17-year-old sister was trapped in the pit but was ultimately rescued and taken to the hospital.
Steve White for the New York Post

The siblings had spent hours digging the hole with Frisbees before it collapsed, according to police and other sources. It took first responders more than 2 1/2 hours to dig out Levi and his sister, who was treated for injuries at the scene, according to police.
