‘Teen Mom’ star David Eason‘s got new trouble with the law — although this time it has nothing to do with his wife, Jenelle Evans — instead, cops say he broke the law twice while behind the wheel.
David got busted in Columbus County, NC, where he and Jenelle live, for driving on a revoked license. Even worse, cops say he was tooling around town with an open container of alcohol when they stopped him Friday night.
According to the NY Post, David posted a $750 bond, through a bondsman, in order to get released from jail.
Jenelle and David, who were once bitterly estranged, reconciled last year — however, David apparently didn’t make up with the state of North Carolina. According to Jenelle, he failed to pay an old seatbelt ticket … and that’s why his license has been revoked.
The court dates are stacking up for David … he has 2 of ’em coming up in February for this new arrest, and also from summer 2020 — for assault with a deadly weapon.
BTW, cops told us they didn’t bother taking a new mug shot for his latest arrest, because David essentially looks the same.
Stevie J is throwing in the towel on his marriage to Faith Evans … because he just filed for divorce after 3 years of marriage.
The record producer beelined it to Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday and filed divorce docs … according to online records.
As we reported … Stevie and Faith got hitched in Las Vegas back in July 2018, tying the knot with an intimate ceremony in their hotel room. The wedding totally blindsided their friends and family.
Stevie and Faith did not have any children together … and it’s unclear at this time if there was a prenup.

Tim Allen‘s political beliefs didn’t play a factor in the re-casting of his signature Buzz Lightyear character — Disney honchos simply believed the character needed a fresh voice for a new storyline … TMZ has learned.
Many folks were confused this week when the Mouse House announced its beloved “Toy Story” character would have a new voice a la Chris Evans. Fans speculated Tim Allen’s political beliefs, namely his support for former President Donald Trump, might’ve had something to do with the new casting.
We’ve spoken to sources with direct knowledge who tell us Disney has no issue with Tim or with his political leanings. The new movie, “Lightyear” is about the real astronaut that toy Buzz is based on, and to have the same voice wouldn’t make sense.

Just days earlier, the pair were apparently spotted leaving the same studio, which only seemed to cement fans’ theories.

Long before Selena and Chris first sparked dating rumors, the Disney Channel alum actually confessed that she had a “crush” on the Captain America: The First Avenger star during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “I kind of have a crush on Chris Evans. Isn’t he cute? He’s very cute,” Selena said at the time. Andy Cohen went on to note that Chris’ brother, Scott Evans, had recently bartender on WWHL, to which Selena responded, “Really? Last week? The current spate of inflation won’t last and ultimately will fall below the Federal Reserve’s target, Chicago Fed President Charles Evans said Tuesday.
While inflation by some measures is running at a 30-year high, Evans told CNBC that the supply chain bottlenecks and other issues will subside and price pressures will fade.
“I’m comfortable in thinking that these are elevated prices, that they will be coming down as supply bottlenecks are addressed,” he told CNBC’s Steve Liesman during a live “Squawk Box” interview. “I think it could be longer than we were expecting, absolutely, there’s no doubt about it. But I think the continuing increase in these prices is unlikely.”
Inflation has been at 3.6% year-over-year in the past couple of months, the highest since the early 1990s, according to the Fed’s preferred gauge. Other measures, such as the consumer price index, have inflation running even hotter.
Evans acknowledged that the trend is putting pressure on the economy.
“That definitely is a challenge for households and businesses. I mean, it cuts into income, wages. So that’s a problem. We’re definitely monitoring that,” he said. “It’s really not a monetary policy issue, it’s an infrastructure supply issue at the moment. So I think inflation will be coming down, and I think once it’s come down, we’re still going to be in a low interest rate … world.”
Nevertheless, the Fed broadly has indicated that it has met the inflation part of its mandate, with the level running well above the 2% goal. Consequently, the central bank is expected to begin slowly pulling back on the unprecedented support it has provided during the pandemic, starting with a tapering of monthly asset purchases.
However, interest rate increases are not expected to being until at least the end of 2022, according to current Federal Open Market Committee projections. Market pricing sees the first hike coming either in November or December of next year, according to the CME’s FedWatch tool.
While Evans said he is on board with the tapering, he said the Fed soon will be facing the familiar change of keeping inflation elevated to healthy levels, and likely will have to keep rates low.
“It’s just putting challenges on getting monetary policy to produce sustainable inflation at and above 2% so that we can average 2% over time,” he said.

Scientists have identified a new rule of growth that shapes the form and development of pointy or sharp biological structures in animals and plants, such as teeth, horns, claws, beaks, and thorns.
Describing the newly found pattern as a previously unknown law of nature, the researchers call their discovery the “power cascade” – a mathematical power law found throughout nature, determining the growth and evolution of a family of shapes called power cones.
“The diversity of animals, and even plants, that follow this rule is staggering,” says evolutionary biologist Alistair Evans from Monash University in Australia.
“We were quite shocked that we found it almost everywhere we looked across the kingdoms of life – in living animals, and those extinct for millions of years.”
The focus of much of Evans’ work is the morphological evolution and functioning of their body parts. Sometimes that focus is trained on the remarkable features of individual creatures; at other times, a similar pattern can be discerned among many organisms.
Hundreds of years ago, another scientist had the same preoccupations. Sir Christopher Wren, the famed English architect and polymath, proposed the shapes of snail shells were determined by the mathematics of logarithmic spirals, where one side of a structure grows faster than another.
Centuries later, Evans had a similar realization, but struck upon a new rule of growth beyond Wren’s thinking – based upon a new shape, the power cone, which is generated when the radial power growth rate is unequal to the length power growth rate.

“For many years I have searched for a pattern in how teeth grow,” Evans explains in The Conversation. “By looking at hundreds of teeth and measuring how they get wider as they get longer, my team and I identified a simple mathematical formula that underpins tooth shape.”
This formula, the power cascade, isn’t only observed in the shape of natural teeth, horns, fangs, and prickles; the power cascade model can also simulate the growth of these structures, the researchers say.
The new discovery means we may be able to gauge the age of animals by simply knowing the shape of their teeth, as reconstructions of the shape could indicate the necessary growing time.
Another application could be anticipating future evolutionary processes, the team thinks.
“These shapes may be considered the default family of shapes for pointed structures, meaning they are more likely to independently evolve multiple times and will be a likely source of homoplasy in evolution,” the researchers write in their study.
“Due to the huge breadth of structures and taxa in which this pattern is found, it appears that the power cascade is a fundamental pattern of growth in myriad organisms.”
